I have an idea for a DCA AU. It would be called Celestial Fathers, it be a god AU! But Sun, Moon and Eclipse aren’t the gods. No, they would be the caretakers of the gods. Why would they be caretakers? Because these gods reincarnate every few centuries and they are there to take care of them every time they reincarnate. The young gods were created by the Goddess of Life and Goddess of Death, the children being the Gods of the Sun, Moon and Cosmos. The Celestial Fathers were blessed with immortality as to be the ones who care for each reincarnation and watch them grow, love and pass away after a few centuries. The children are to be reincarnated 3000 times before they become full fledged young gods and they have to ensure they are all safe so their ascension to godhood goes without a hitch. However, something has gone wrong. The child of the Cosmos went missing. The Fathers are panicking and the last reincarnation of the Sun and Moon are confused and worried. Why has their brother left? Where is he? Will he be back?
Father Eclipse is the one who is most worried, it was his job to keep the child safe, the child he ended up seeing as his own after 300 years of caring for every reincarnation of him. Father Sun and Father Moon are worried for him, he keeps searching tirelessly…
Just where is the Cosmos…? Why is the night sky so dark nowadays…?

Anyway, that is my take for this AU! I would gladly hear any suggestions and ideas about it!
It’s hard to imagine that Carl Sagan could ever be evil, but perhaps in some parallel universe, this is exactly how it would go …
