With the release of Murtagh: The World of Eragon I have been scouring Ao3 looking for Murtagh-centric fics and haven’t come up with much, at least fics that are completed, which is criminal.
Specifically, the tag “Murtagh Morzansson Needs a Hug” has 19 works and that is the only “Canonical” Freeform tag Murtagh has on Ao3
Did you think I was done with this? Wrong, one thing I’ve been thinking about recently is that I’d have to make it so Murtagh and Thorn got taught by Oromis and Glaedr, I don’t know how but I need that to happen. Oromis and Glaedr would be such a good stabilizing influence for them and it would be such great closure.

My dash is full of Eragon-related posts, and it's caused me to unearth the story I wrote back in middle school. It is... Let's say... "Heavily inspired" by IC, except somehow even more dramatic. Anyways I'm obsessed and I might post some of it here.
Movie Arya was the worst character

A teenager finds a magic rock, and the whole universe took it personally. He goes for a super long walk with a blue lizard, a grumpy old man, and that one extremely emo kid you knew in middle school. He makes a few friends and falls in love with an old woman. Eventually he fights a really old man who has been suffering without his stone, then moves out of his birth country to be a teacher.
I challenge you, describe the Inheritance Cycle plot in the worst way possible
Nothing has shaken me more than realizing that Eragon (the book, not the boy) is almost old enough to drink alcohol in the US.
Technically it already is, if you go by the age of the first edition.
