Two years ago I had my first tattoo done!! BATTLE BORN, inspired by The Killers, and obviously by the song, the meaning of it. Life is shitty, but when it knocks you down, you gonna get up on your feet! I think I live with that song replaying in my head, giving me strength... Oh, and hopefully I'm getting another tattoo soon!

listening to the killers makes me feel like a tortured leather jacket wearing teen rebel living in a small town i hate so much that i drive out into the desert in my tastefully battered vintage car with the sunroof down and the cool gritty wind tousling my hair just to escape for a little while and sit on the hood with the girl i'm hopelessly pining for whose overbearing father has warned me to stay away from watching the sun set from the canyon's edge we're parked on and discussing our plans to run away together and leave this shitty town forever that we never act on before we grow up in different directions and never interact again except for at the wedding party of a mutual friend where we briefly feel a pang of regret for what could have been in another life before returning to our separate lives and resigning our shared past to bittersweet memories
