This isn't a joke. This is reality. Have you considered these facts? If not, maybe take a moment to think about it. How's your gender doing? If you don't like it, it can be changed. Hell, even if you do like it, maybe you'd like something else more?

so much of the horror genre is informed by the metaphor of queer/transness as monstrousness. especially emphasizing the amount of horror that depends on the audience's repulsion at seeing a human body changing into a new, other body. I Saw the TV Glow is about the horror of NOT transitioning. the horror of static. the horror of looking into yourself and being terrified of what you see. the horror of seeing who you are and choosing to do nothing about it. the horror of looking away. and by god is it terrifying.

About to watch I saw the tv glow I'm feeling a bit nervous but I've head it's great!! :D
Just finished it it was really good I don't really feel anything but I did cry a bit, 20/10 movie cannot suggest it enough
Ignore the people that say don't watch the movie just because they don't understand, just because you don't understand doesn't mean you get to "warn people not to watch it"

I'm not mad that Mutant Mayhem exists, I'm mad that Nickelodeon seems to be glad to move on to a new iteration so quickly when they didn't even let Rise finish, and apparently MM has better action figures before it's even out than Rise got during its entire run.
Why didn't Rise get good toys? The actions figures it has look garbo.
