A thing I wrote a few months ago, enjoy?

The Song at The End of a Universe

Here I stand, at the end of the universe. at the end of time and space, and at the end of everything that is and ever was to be, the true end of everything.

I am the last of what remains of humanity, although I no longer resemble what they looked like, we had mastered the protein; we erased diseases and extended our lives to immortality. death was no longer inevitable; it was an option, a choice to make.

But that did not erase the hard end of life, of existence, which is where I stand now. Floating in a vast expanse of nothing, looking at the universe, as flashes of bright light explode, as millions of stars die and supernovae, releasing mass amounts of energy, slowly expanding out to the edge in a wave, where I stand now watching, waiting for the inevitable end of everything.

But I'm ok with that, I cannot stop it, and no one ever will, it will always happen no matter how much I don’t want it to happen, no matter how much the human race didn’t want it to happen.

The wave of flashes gets closer to me, getting closer to my end, the end of existence. I reminisce as I wait, thinking about all of the hundreds of billions of lives that were lived, all of the knowledge, all of the memories, all of the time they spent living their life, then they just die and all of this, all of the time after their death has passed instantly, everything happened all at once, they do not get to see the beauty of this event, no matter how sad that it may be.

The wave gets even closer, the flashes blinding me, but I am not scared, I am not worried, I'm satisfied, I'm happy even. We lived our lives, we enjoyed our lives, we did what we wanted, and faced the consequences of our actions.

But there is also a profound sense of loneliness that I feel. Through profound and unbelievable odds, we were alone here, there was no one else in this universe, and now I am all that’s left living here, I am the last thing that will exist, and it's lonely, but this is how things have turned out.

The last star floats before me in a void of nothing, a small decollete red dwarf. But then it implodes, gone, forever. And now I am next, pain covers my body as it gets shredded to nothing and disappears…

But my mind is still here, I open my eyes and see those billions of humans, from the very first to the very last.

We stand in a forest as a song plays throughout. I follow its tune and it leads me to a tree. A huge hulking thing of wood with veins that glow in an otherworldly colour.

As I reach the tree the veins pulse and my vision goes dark, the tree is gone and the surrounding forest is dark, along with all of the people, now there in place of the tree is a campfire in its place with logs surrounding it.

I sit down staring into the orange flames and I hear a voice, the voice of Einstein, he speaks, but it’s not directed towards me, I look up from the flames and see the philosopher, the scientist who shaped the world we lived in discussing the event that just transpired. but suddenly they all stop talking as my presence becomes aware of them. they look at me and then at the fire, bowing their heads as they too look into the flames.

As we stare at the flames the music plays again, as we sing the song and dance to its tune the fire grows stronger and brighter shaping an ethereal representation of the tree.

We continue to sing and dance to the song, the tree starts to glow till the light blinds us. Suddenly there is a loud boom and our vision returns to the sight of the tree. but now the colour of the veins has changed. They glow brighter like the tree was rebirthed by the reminiscences of our memories, of our time alive of what was and what wasn't, it's almost like this tree is the representation of a new universe, a new beginning.

And now I understand, as a new song starts to play and our bodies start to fade away into stardust, pulled towards the tree, as my body fades, I sigh, content and happy as new life is born in this new universe.

This is life, this is the universe, this is the song of the end of time, the song at the end of a universe.

This one may need a TW. I'm not too sure. It speculates about death and afterlife type stuff, read at your own risk.

----------------------------------------------------------

Dormiveglia

The space that stretches between sleeping and waking

----------------------------------------------------------

You know when you're dreaming and just before you wake, you get that feeling of content, of happiness, of freedom, of acceptance?

I believe that's the feeling of the afterlife, putting your foot over the boundaries before you're pulled back into your body.

I believe it's like a piece of string, one side being the dream land, the other being the afterlife, and the string being the plane that holds them together.

I think the feeling of content you get is from being able to see those that have passed in your lifetime.

I think happiness is from finally being able to put your past worries and stress aside, not having any problems left.

I think the freedom is from leaving the cycle of your everyday life, having nothing to do and no responsibility's, being able to go anywhere, do anything you want without the stress and responsibility of living

I think acceptance comes from realising where you are, your body accepting it, and embracing it, I think it's to help you cross the threshold of the string and step into the freedom

I think this plane is where everything is left behind. I wonder what happens if you stay on this string. Maybe that's where reincarnation comes from.

Maybe if you stay on the string, your consciousness finds a new body, and you live again.

I guess we will never know.

Patroclus and Achille’s story is so heart wrenchingly summed up in this poem that even if you don’t like poetry if you enjoyed song of the Achilles I’m begging you to read it because it’s actually beautiful.

There just has to be a happier story for us my love - Tash J Curry

There has to be another life,

another us, somewhere.

A story in which we were happy,

after everything.

One where you’re not dying in my arms.

And I can’t save you.

There has to be one,

just that One.

Where we live.

Where, we find peace knowing that,

the war is over.

It’s done.

And we don’t have to fight anymore.

One

where

we can live.

There has to be a universe

where this isn’t the only ending,

we get.

That they’re other stories,

for us, out there.

Because we can’t be...

this can’t be...

We’re not this Almost which was never enough for us,

for this story.

There has to be another.

This can’t be the only end.

We don’t Deserve this my love.

I hope we’re there in and amongst other stories,

Happy Ones,

because we lived

through too many tragedies

history won’t let us forget.

And I can’t lose you again.

I won’t.

We Deserve to be happy, my love.

Words, They Have Meaning. But If Words Are Said Without Meaning, Then What Purpose Does It Serve? If

Words, they have meaning. But if words are said without meaning, then what purpose does it serve? If words are thrown without meaning then what purpose does a word serve? Because without meaning words lose its purpose. And I still stand by the fact that every word has meaning. So it needs to be said carefully and it is to be said with the highest regard.

But at the same time, what kind of humour, does a word belong to? What kind of word does humour belong to? If it's thrown around carelessly without meaningful purpose, then what's worth? What is word if not worth? What is it worth if it's not a word?

Words, they have meaning. It needs to be taken seriously. Without seriousness, they have lost their purpose to deliver a message. A message that contains worthy words. But what does it entail? If words are worded, is it truly worth it? Maybe we should not joke around too much with words. Playing with words would have severely lost its worth. Unless, it is sarcasm. What does sarcasm belong to? Have words truly lost their meaning once it is said carelessly?

Words have meaning. What is meaningful to others might not be conveyed well in the way it is worded. What is not meaningful to others might be conveyed well in the way it is worded. What is meaningful can be well conveyed in the way it is worded.

Pick your words carefully, so that it doesn't lose its worth.

A lot of older people always argue about what a small child might learn in their time on the phone/tablet, and while that may be true I think it's infinitely more scary what we forget.

I'm currently doing my earlier commute from home to school which takes me about an 1.5 and just like everyone else in this planet I get bored and look at my phone. I only stop looking at my phone once I get to where I need to go or have something else to do and that is all well and good right?

Well I don't know about you guys, but I constantly forget that I as an individual can't do whatever I want and that the world isn't a medival town with magical transportation methods. Because while I'm on my phone which is most of my day I'm in my own world where I can do, be, and create whatever I want.

Once I have to look up though I suddenly remember that I'm NOT a protagonist, a wizard with a lizards tail, or even an important NPC. I'm just a girl who is in a world that was designed to work like a clock for her and many others people's needs.

And that's what I find so scary, that you can literally detach your emotional and physical self from the person you are to become someone you want to be it's called escapism or daydreaming. It's not necessarily bad, it helps relieve stress and can be a form of coping for people who are going through a rough time.

But you forget a lot of things like: being nice and polite, how to have a conversation, how to apologize, or how to make friends and keep them. You may also forget that somethings are simply illegal or inaccessible if you're really deep in your delusions (like me). Whatever it is you forget about a 50/50 chance you simply forget how to be human.

I'm not trying to advocate for anything here I'm just simply stating something that is mostly forgotten or at least largely ignored. So if you have anything you'd like to add please do I love this kind of shit.
