I feel that if Hunter and Chifuyu met they could get along because they both acted rude in their debut but they're actually nerdy and a bit funny and have an unwavering loyalty to those they love and respect as well as being animal enthusiasts for their love of their pets (Flapjack and Peke J) and even wear outfits based on them.
They would both kick ass of those who dare to insult their friends and would also fight each other to see which of their pets is the most cutest.
Me scared that during the fight between Toman 2nd generation vs Kanto Manji more characters die:
Same Energy
Bonus:
From what I've seen in Tokyo Revengers Character Book 3, Sanzu seems to have some problem with heat/sweating. He has gloves to drive without slipping his hands, he has tissues all over his house possibly to wipe off sweat, he doesn't like spicy food because it makes him sweat a lot and his favorite place is "cold warehouse".
In Tokyo Revengers character book 3, we're shown that Angry has in his room a stuffed shark that he bought at the aquarium. Can you imagine if Angry had met Taiju at the aquarium and they both wanted the same stuffed shark?
It really gives me some feeling that Izana's favorite song is Bohemian Rhapsody because it suits him a lot. It's like he's literally singing it, and if you think about it that makes a lot of sense to mention a lot of his "mother" in the song who is the root of all his problems.
Am I the only one who thinks that All for One's eyes look like Mikey's when he's under the effects of Dark Impulses?
Me after see The Owl House Season 3 Chapter 1 and Tokyo Revengers Chapter 275:
Bruno Bucciarati, Eda Clawthorne, Captain Grime, Johnny Lawrence and, in a strange way, Takemichi Hanagaki are adults who lead pretty empty and messy lives and it doesn't seem to bother them in the least.
But then a series of events occurs and they meet someone (Giorno Giovanna, Luz Noceda, Sasha Waybright, Miguel Diaz and Manjiro "Mikey" Sano) and that kid makes them realize that their lives are a mess and inspires them to change for the better as they completely grow and self-reflect and mature for the sake of that kid.
Bruno, Eda, Grime, Johnny and Takemichi seek to help and protect that child as a way of gratitude to that loved one because it made them realize who they are and turned them into the best version of themselves and then in moments of (near) death and sacrifice, they thank that kid for making them realize that life is not just about existing with an empty routine that just goes through and start all over again but that life is much more than that.
Those kids inadvertently saved these adults from an empty existence full of problems and regrets by giving them a reason to live a better or at least happy life as the best version of themselves and the adults want to do this in return with these kids.
Now that we saw that in this new timeline Baji, Hanma and Smiley are in Tokyo Manji, can you imagine these three getting along and teaming up because they like to cause chaos for fun and love to hit others?
When it comes to Kisaki, I couldn't help but remember what Watts said to Cinder in RWBY Volume 8 as it perfectly sums up Kisaki's ideology:
Watts: You think you're entitled to everything just because you've suffered, but suffering isn't enough. You can't just be strong, you have to be smart. You can't just be deserving, you have to be worthy.
It was never about Kisaki loving Hina but about proving that he was worthy of having her. Kisaki mistakenly thinked that Hina loved Takemichi for his dream of being the number one gang member when in reality she loved him for his bravery and willingness to help others so Kisaki, using his intellect, set out to create plans and manipulate everyone to become the number one gang member and then become the most powerful gangster in Japan and he succeeded. For Kisaki, being the most powerful gangster was to prove to everyone that only he was worthy of having Hina by being better than Takemichi for successfully achieving what the latter wanted.
If Kisaki had really loved Hinata, he would have talked to her, trying to establish a friendship with her, and if Hinata had rejected him, then, out of love for Hina, he would have respected her decision and wouldn't have killed her, but Kisaki never saw Hinata as a person but he saw her as an object to possess, a goal to achieve. Kisaki didn't care about Hinata as a person and the feelings and desires that she had, he just wanted to show that he was the most worthy of possessing Hina by working hard to get her, becoming what he thought she liked but not achieving his goal, he saw that his effort to be worthy of having Hinata was wasted and if he wasn't worthy of having her then no one else was worthy of having her.
Everyone remember this part where Mikey meets Kisaki after the latter shot Izana?
Before I thought that Kisaki was scared because he was found out and his whole plan failed but now I think Kisaki was scared because he knew about Mikey's Dark Impulses because he told him before and therefore he knew that when Mikey was consumed by his impulses he always kills those who were targets of his wrath so Kisaki feared becoming the target of Mikey's wrath because that would mean that Kisaki would be killed by him in a horrible way. I think that even though Kisaki admirated Mikey and manipulated him, actually Kisaki deep down was always afraid of Mikey.
In this post I mentioned how similar Luz and Mikey are and recently I found another similarity that they have and that is that they both created a video mentioning how they wanted to fix what they think is their fault and how Luz and Mikey decide isolate themselves from their loved ones and asking them not to look for them.
and the saddest and most terrifying thing about all this is that both videos have suicidal connotations.
The moment that Takemichi managed to punch Mikey was so epic that I'm felt like when I saw this scene for the first time:
It would be pretty awesome if when this fight be animated, portray Takemichi punching Mikey the same epicness as when Vi punch one of Silco's goons in Arcane Episode 3.
Takemichi's ability to see the future works like Boku no Hero Academia's quirks: it evolves by the user's strong emotions and by the user's constant uses of it.
The people that predicted that Shinichiro is the second time leaper as a joke and it turned out to be true:
We know from the databook that South is good singing and that he doesn't like Shion which makes it hilarious that all the captains are here hearing him sing except Shion because South didn't invite him to hear him sing because he doesn't like him.
It's quite sad and tragic that chapter 269 starts and ends the same way: Shinichiro carrying Mikey.
I don't know about you but the anger and despair Shinichiro felt at losing Mikey and all his family reminded me of Gyutaro when he lost Daki.
Although both grew up in different circumstances (Gyutaro was poor and Shinichiro came from a middle class family), the context remains the same (Shinichiro and Gyutaro are boys who don't have parents to take care of them and their siblings and have to assume the roles of parents for their younger siblings).
For them the most important thing was their brothers and they lost them in the worst possible way due to situations beyond their control (Daki dies burned alive for hurting a samurai who insulted Gyutaro and Mikey remains in a coma as a result of an accident and dies) that were indirectly caused by their actions (Gyutaro and Daki grew up in an environment where everyone mistreated them and Daki learns to attack against anyone who mistreats them and Gyutaro never taught her anything else and he encouraged this aggressive behavior and Shinichiro gives Mikey the toy plane that would trigger the chain of events that would lead to his death).
Both Shinichiro and Gyutaro were so desperate that they were willing to accept almost unreal methods if it meant saving their siblings (Gyutaro accepting Douma's offer and both he and Daki becomes demons and Shinichiro wanting to travel back in time to save Mikey). Also, Shinichiro and Gyutaro kill someone before getting their powers and "die" to gain said powers to save their siblings (Gyutaro and Shinichiro's death is metaphorical because they die as humans but are reborn as something else, Gyutaro becomes a demon and Shinichiro becomes a time traveler) but this power affects their brothers in a negative way (Daki is turns into a demon and devours beautiful women as well as helps Gyutaro kill Hashiras and Mikey develops dark impulses as a product of Shinichiro's time travel).
Basically Gyutaro and Shinichiro tried to save their siblings but ended up dooming themselves and their siblings in the process.
