samu loves giving you surprise kisses so while you were reading a new book he had bought you, as you read the novel in the living room about to flip to the next page when you almost jumped feeling a chin on your shoulder. "Hey pretty girl, ya like the book so far?" You sighed smiling softly, humming in response before feeling him lean down a little more to press a kiss to your lips. He flashed you a smile before joining you on the couch, "You used the raspberry one I bought you?"

"Yeah, I know how much you like it, plus it smells pretty good." You admitted, snuggling into his side as his arm wrapped around you. "And it taste good too." He stated, pulling you into a another kiss. This time swiping his tongue against your bottom lip, "S-samu! Your gonna take all my lipgloss off!" You whined, "Oh well, guess you'll have to put more on won't cha?"

kawa thinks that sweet smelling scents suites you, perfume, body wash anything like that. So when you came home to see two bags full of bath and body works items, you looked to toru. "What? Can't I spoil my princess?" He asked with a pout, "Baby I don't mind you spoiling me but I already have 3 unused perfume bottles, and body wash AND lotion. I'm not even gonna start on lipgloss. I have 3 sets of peach baby, three"

He grinned walking over to your side, "Well how about this, we can try all of the lipgloss and chapstick flavors together. And I'll have to guess each one how about that?"

"I'd say thats an excuse to kiss me more." "You wouldn't be wrong~"

as expected, kei loves his strawberries. So when he was waiting for you in bed, and smelt the scent of strawberries off your skin he tried to calmly ask if thats a new body wash. "Oh yeah, I just got it. Apparently it has some vitamins in it and it smells really good, I think its strawberry, do you like it?" Like it? He loved it. Thats why when you had also told him you had got a new scented/flavored lipgloss he was slightly excited to kiss you and see it was strawberry.

And to his dismay, it wasn't. Pulling back from the kiss he frowned slightly. "What the hell kinda lipgloss is that." You held back a giggle, reading the label of the tube. "Apparently blackberry." He sucked his teeth, reaching into his pocket before handing you a soft pink tube. "Use this one, and get rid of that nasty ass blackberry." Even if it looked like he was doing you a favor, you saw the blush on his cheeks. "Thanks baby, oh its strawberry!" You said, faking your surprise. "Wanna test it out?"

You hated days like these.

You and kei had been arguing earlier, and yesterday and the day before that. Bickering was one thing, but those arguments left you feeling useless. You wanted to make amends with kei, but his silent treatment and cold attitude wasn’t helping. And today, he had crossed the line with you.

He knew of your past relationship and how your ex never showed you any affection, and choose to bring that up in the argument. When you heard kei shout at you with those words your heart sank. Eyes watery you held back your tears as you dashed to your shared bedroom, slamming shut behind you. You didn’t come out of the bedroom at all that night, leaving kei to use the guest bathroom and bed.

As much as you wanted to talk to him and clear everything up, this time it was his turn. You were done apologizing, he had to pull a grand gesture to win you over. So for the next few days you limited your contact with kei, no hugs, kisses and petnames. You wanted him to know how serious you were about this, as much as it killed you to not cuddle with him. Kei saw how distant and silent you were, quickly missing your bubbly attitude. So when you were in the kitchen making dinner he tried to wrap his arms around your waist but you stepped aside. He frowned, before groaning and realizing why you were acting this way.

“Babe look, I’m sorry for yesterday. I shouldn’t have brung that up, ive been an ass for these past few days.” You scoffed, “Thats it? You really don’t get it do you?” You turned off the stove, putting some of the food on a plate and the rest in a container. “Aren’t you going to eat-“

“Not with you tonight, I accept your apology but i dont forgive you.” And with that, you left the kitchen leaving an emotionally confused kei. You almost gave into his attempts to smooth things over, he never called you babe unless he was serious. But you were as well, and you hoped he would do something to prove himself. For both of your sakes.

When you woke up the next morning, you immediately smelt food in the air, was he cooking? Kei never cooked for you— fuck he was. Making your favorite breakfast at that as well, as you stepped out of the bedroom you also saw an frappacino from your favorite cafe. Hearing your footsteps advance, kei turned around seeing you with messy bedhair and wearing one of his old shirts. It was still big on you. “Is this for..me?” A small smile tugged on his lips, “Yes, of course.”

Coming around from the kitchen island, kei gave you a soft look as he gently took your hands in his. “I have no excuse for the way i acted with you for the past few days. I was rude, cold and completely ignored your feelings. And i did see the strawberry shortcake you made for me in the fridge. You didn’t have to do that, you don’t bake an asshole a cake dummy.” You couldn’t help the smile that made its way on your face, “Well back then I thought it would help-”

“God what do you see in me? You actually made me a cake when i should’ve been apologizing. Your such a dummy.” Despite his words, kei’s soft tone made your heart warm. Your eyes wobbled with happy tears, “Hey hey did i do something wrong-?” Letting go of his hands you wrapped your arms around his torso, shaking your head against his chest.

“No, I forgive you kei. But you owe me a kiss.” An airy chuckle fell past the blondes lips, “I knew you would say that.” Leaning down, he took your face in his hands, admiring your features for a second. Grinning slightly at your embarrassed expression, before pressing a passionate kiss to your lips. “Thank you for forgiving me.”

You pecked him back softly, “Anytime kei kei.”

【★】 — i feel like there's an unspoken rule between you and kei when he has a bad day. If he comes home cleary frustrated and doesn't say much you already know to make his favorite meal and surprise him with some strawberry shortcake you made earlier that day, as dessert. (Although most times he’ll just eat you or both-). So once he stepped through the door, you greeted him like usual before seeing the tired expression on his face. "Long day?" You asked softly, cupping his cheek gently looking directly looking into his eyes, still looking down at you with love even if they have slight bags under them. He hummed in response, resulting in a forehead kiss from you who had to stand on your tippy toes to reach his lips. Causing the blonde to let out an airy laugh, as he saw your legs straining to reach his tall figure. “Missed you baby.” He said softly, putting a hand ontop of one of yours that held his face. His tone made a smile tug at your lips , his usually tease and confident tone now watered down to a tired and clingy one. “I missed you too kei kei.” You cooed, coming down slightly to press a soft kiss to his lips. “How about this kei,” you proposed resting back on your heels your hands now holding his. “I’ll give you a massage after you take a shower, and we can watch that dinosaur movie you like.” It had been a while since you’ve seen kei smile that wide, like a little boy who just got a free pass from not going to school. “I’d love that, thanks babe.” As he bent down to give you a long hug you inhaled his scent, your heart beating slightly faster at the feeling of his arms hugging your lower back. “Always beanpole.”
