He always claims to have fallen in love with you since your first meeting: one day, while running (he was late for training with his team), he bumped into you, knocking you to the ground; then, he stopped to help you, but by mistake he said: "You're so tiny..."; he didn't mean to be mean, and he was about to apologize, but the words got stuck in his throat after hearing you mutter: "You're the one who's tall"; that day he arrived at training not only late, but also red as a tomato

Despite the first words he told you, he thinks your height is very cute and, above all, perfect for him, since you've the right height to fit in his arms: in fact, he loves to hug you, cuddle you, or just have your body against his in some way

He'll never tease you about your height and, if someone does so, he'll run up to them and yell at them to stop (like he did to defend Kiyoko from Terushima)

He loves picking you up, especially while you kiss; sometimes he also does so to greet you after you haven't seen each other for a long time: he picks you up and turns you around, then he kisses you

The first time he met you, he was struck by your cuteness: when he had to introduce himself to you, his voice was trembling and he almost mispronounced his name (he really wanted to bury himself out of embarrassment); furthermore, he was terribly blushing and felt as if he was about to fall to the ground

When you two go out together, he's very careful not to lose you in the crowd, especially if there are a lot of people: he stands next to you and always holds your hand, not without blushing, to guide you

Once he lost sight of you in a store and got very worried; he looked for you in every lane, he was desperate, until he heard the loudspeaker: "Mr. Kageyama Tobio, come to cashier 12. We've found your daughter."; he tried not to laugh all the way home

His favorite thing to do is rest his head on yours, as your height is perfect for him to lean over, while hugging you from behind (because otherwise you would see his face red)

If he sees you cheering for him during a game, he'll feel very excited; if you even wore his jersey, he would literally die of embarrassment (Tsukishima will never let him forget it) and work even harder

Whenever he can, he teases you a lot: he never misses an opportunity to do so, either through his gestures (for example by resting his arm on your head as if it were an armrest), or with words ("Oh? Sorry, I didn't see you, you're too small.")

Furthermore, speaking of words, he comes up with every nickname having to do with short for you: "chibi" (small) or "chibi-chan", "my little one" (with great emphasis on little)...

However, if someone makes fun of you, he stands to his full height and glares at him: he's the only one who can tease you

If you wear his clothes, which are literally huge on you, he takes the opportunity to tease you about your height, but he only does it to prevent you from noticing his embarrassment; if you also puff out your cheeks or pout in irritation, he'll have to cover the lower part of his face with one of his hands to prevent you from seeing his deep blush

One thing that amuses him a lot is when you try to kiss him, but of course you can't do it if he doesn't lean down ("Oh? Are you too short to reach me, chibi-chan?" "Shut up and lean down so I can kiss you, dummy!")

If you play with his hands and compare them with your smaller ones, he'll melt and blush very heavily; nevertheless, he loves holding your hands, precisely because they're much smaller than his

When he sees you in his clothes, especially in his team jersey, he gets so embarrassed he has to put his hands in front of his face or hide it in other ways; the first time he saw you like that, he fainted for a few minutes and, after he recovered, he couldn't look at you for fear of becoming dazed looking at your cuteness

He'll also die of embarrassment if you grab him by the collar of his shirt or the tie to lower him to your height and kiss him

Although he's a really shy person, I think there are moments when he becomes more bold and courageous: one of those is if someone makes fun of you (really, he totally transforms into another person and yells at them you're perfect just the way you're)

Some are subtle moments where he playfully teases you, but he stops as soon as he notices you're offended or saddened; others happen when he spontaneously picks you up to help you reach overhead objects you can't reach on your own or when you kiss

Since he isn't the tallest, and sometimes he felt bad about it, he doesn't want you to feel uncomfortable or sad about your height: if you were ever unhappy due to that, he, unexpectedly serious, would take your hands in his, whispering softly to you you're perfect just the way you're

Instead, if he were the one who hurt you, he would literally kneel at your feet begging you for forgiveness

He loves when you see each other after a long time and you run towards him and jump on him, holding him like a koala; he always grabs and spins you around a couple of times, and then he kisses you

Since sometimes neither you nor he can reach objects too high up on the shelves, he lifts you up to get them; one day, he did a really stupid thing: he took you on his shoulders, but unfortunately he slipped and you both fell to the ground (obviously he broke your fall and you didn't hurt yourself)

One day, during the time out of a match during which he wasn't in perfect shape, he saw you in the stands cheering him on while wearing his jersey; from that moment on, in that match no ball touched the ground in Karasuno's field

noya slaps your back lightly while encouraging you loudly, his hand resting on your lower back. suga rubs your shoulder blades in acknowledgment, a reassuring smile plastered on his face, daichi ruffles your hair with a chuckle. "you'll get it next time yn, i believe in you!" hinata exclaims with starry eyes as he skips towards you, the noise of his squeaky shoes bounces off the gym walls and before his hands get to slap against your shoulders he gets cut off, a volleyball bouncing off the back of his fluffy tangerine hair. "YEOWWWWW!!!!" he yells out, grabbing his head dramatically. "lay off pipsqueak." tsukishimas voice echos through everyones ears as he walks over to you with the same volleyball he threw at hinata. "hey what was tha-" hinata starts but quickly cut off by tsukishimas quiet voice that was aimed toward you. his gaze lingers for a bit, glasses shining when his eyes meet with your seemingly longing ones. "...can i talk to you real quick?" tsukishima says slowly while looking down at sugas comforting hand on your shoulder, that same shoulder losing the warmth of his hand when he lets go. "you can't just take them! they're practicing with us!" noyas booming voice causes tsukishima to roll his eyes. "let it go bro! he looks mad!" tanaka butts in and noya mumbles a sassy "whatever" and shrugs his hand off your back. "yeah...'course you can talk to-" "privately."

you follow tsukishima outside the gym, not without a few "ooooo"s and you could've sworn you heard yamaguchi cheering on with a, "you got this tsukki!". maybe you misheard? tsukishimas back is faced towards you but you can almost make out the expression he has, the usual nonchalant and confident aura from him has been replaced with...nervousness, it almost feels like. his shoulders are slightly raised like a startled cat and he glances back at you, the crusty white light attached to the gym building glowing against tsukishimas pale porcelain skin and his glasses show a faint reflection of your figure, he looks away from you swiftly. your heart skips a beat. the only thing keeping this situation from being awkwardly quiet is the distant sound of crickets chirping and an eventual sigh escapes his chest. "soooo," you break the painful silence. "why'd you n-" you start, trying to strike a conversation with the blonde boy but he cuts you off. "why do you let them touch you all the time?" he asks harshly turning around to look down at you. your face twists into confusion, your eyebrows scrunching together. tsukishima scoffs and rolls his eyes. "is it not annoying?" he cocks his head mockingly, taking a step closer to you. you huff, "so you brought me out of practice to shit talk your teammates?" you cross your arms, "those are my friends y'know?" "do you need such touchy friends?" he asks, his golden eyes narrowing at you, his body leaning downward to get closer to you. "why do you care so much?" you question him and he goes silent. "what? you like me or something?" you joke, a proud smile creeping onto your face at his surprised expression, he quickly furrows his brows and stands up straight. "maybe i do yn! maybe i do like you. maybe i can't stand seeing any other boys filthy hands on you because i like you, i should be with you! not your childish little 'friends'!" tsukishima exclaims and he rubs his face in frustration, running his hands through his short blonde locks, refusing to look at your face.

you're beyond shocked, dumbfounded even. his rushed, loud confession which is nothing like him, and the fact he was confessing because he was jealous? you'd think it was cute if you weren't blown away. "kei..." you mutter his first name, sending gentle shivers down his spine that he tries his best to hide from you. "shut up shut up shutupshutupshutup." he grumbles into his hands. "you're really gonna confess like that?" you giggle before full on laughing, clutching your stomach and even wiping a tear or two from laughter. "yeah okay, laugh it up." tsukishima groans and you let out a long sigh while looking down. "you are such an idiot." you say and look up at him with a smile, he can't help the pink tint that coats his warm cheeks and he looks away from your eyes. "look who's talking, you moron." he grunts in annoyance, rolling his eyes once again. you reach for his trembling hand and step closer to him, the shakiness of his hand was quite surprising but it was a nice reassurance that he wasn't just playing a stupid prank on you. your hand reaches for his warm neck and rest your palm on the curve of it, pulling his face closer to yours and finally, finally pressing a gentle, loving kiss to his soft lips. tsukishima hesitates for a split second, his raised shoulders relaxing as he kisses you back, both of his large, bandaged hands grabbing your hips. "i like you too, silly."

you mumble incoherent curses and erase aggressively on your paper, blowing the eraser shavings, catching tsukishimas attention. "what're you doing?" he asks with a small amount of judgement in his tone as he looks down at the slightly crumbled paper in your notebook. "i'm trying to..ugh." you sigh, lowering your face to the notebook in front of you, light gray strokes connecting with one another. "trying to what?" the blonde boy looks down at you. "talk normally dumbass, i can't hear you." he spits out, you pay no mind to him and move your hair to the side, grumbling angrily about it being in the way. tsukishima hears your frustrated mumbles and takes the matter into his hands before you explode and become pissy for the rest of the day. he grabs the hair tie you gave him off his wrist, gently gathering all of your hair and slowly putting it into a ponytail. "you're welcome." he speaks up after a few seconds of silence. "thanks, kei." you respond quietly, entranced in your drawing, his cheeks dust with pink when his name leaves your mouth, still not used to you calling him by his first name. tsukishima looks down at your paper, analyzing the drawing you're stressing about. he slowly starts familiarizing the doodles and sketches of a person, piecing together the glasses and hair. "is that me?" he asks, his brows furrowed at the scarily accurate drawings of him. "wha- no! that would be so weird and creepy of me to draw you..." you yell out in surprise, trying to defend yourself, jumping from your previous position, snuggled against his pillows, under the blanket that he bought specifically for you. tsukishima chuckles through his nose and smirks. "you're more than weird and creepy yn." he sighs and closes his eyes. "maybe that's why i like you." he mutters, mainly to himself but loud enough for you to hear. your face bursts into a bright red and you grab one of his pillows, throwing it harshly at his face. he catches the fuzzy decorative pillow with ease, laughing at you and patting the spot on his bed next to him, inviting you to sit with him. "don't start getting all cute at me after calling me weird and creepy, you're gonna give me whiplash." you tell him while hopping next to him and he hums in faux confusion. "i'm not getting cute, just saying i kind of like you." he says confidently with a faint smile still on his thin lips while he unlocks his phone, scrolling aimlessly through the many playlists he's made, not sparing you a glance. "oh wow, should i be flattered that the all-knowing, stoic, cold and stingy tsukishima kei kind of likes me?" you joke reaching for your pencil to resume sketching. he pauses his scrolling after clicking on the playlist you two listen to the most together, reaching for his earphones that he, again, specifically got for you so you guys can listen to music together. he glances at your page and he stays quiet, taking your joke into consideration. "mmm, flattered isn't the word. don't take advantage of the situation." he states quietly, leaning into you and sticking left earphone in your ear. your hands halt and you gasp dramatically. "i love this song!" you yell joyfully. "i know you do." tsukishima says to himself, and this time, you can't hear what he says. he wraps his arm around your shoulder, his hand resting on the pillows next to you as he watches the pencil in your hand work its magic, finishing the 'doodle' of him smiling, you would call it, tsukishima would simply call it a masterpiece just because he knows no matter how hard he would try, he'd never get on your level when it comes to drawing. his broad chest rises and falls with each slow breath he takes as he admires your skill. "stop drawing me, weirdo." he says, sarcasm dripping in his tone. you look up at him with sparkling eyes and a candy sweet smile that never fails to make his steady heartbeat falter. "you love it." "i guess i do." is the last thing he says before cupping your warm cheek with his cold, big hands and pressing his lips onto yours, kissing you slowly.

"KIYOKO ISN'T STAYING IN AGAIN?!" tanaka and noya yell in sync. "no, but we still have yachi! and an honorable mention that i won't reveal." daichi starts and yachi waves at the two energetic boys. "honorable mention?" hinata adds into the conversation. "you'll see." suga says with a smile looking at tsukishima smugly, he sighs and grumbles incoherent complains. all of the other boys look at him and look at him with furrowed brows. "why are you looking at me?" tsukishima spits. "suga looked at you when he said-" "shut up, yamaguchi." he interrupts. "sorry tsukki."

"wow, how fancy." you say to tsukishima in a quiet voice as you scan over the building they were staying in before their intense match they have in a few days, you don't look at him when he speaks up. "it really isn't much. let's just get inside." he mumbles and glances down at you already walking to the wide doors. "wha- don't go in without me!" he demands, but you're too far away to hear him and you slide open the doors, all of karasuno looking back at you. you stare for awhile before suga clears his throat and speaks, "ah, yn.". you wave with a smile and the gray haired boy walks over to you, placing a comforting hand on the small of your back as he introduces you. "this is yn, she'll be staying with us until the match." he starts, opening his mouth to say more but noya and tanaka let out a yell. "YN-SAAAAN, WOOOWWWW!!! YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL!" they yell, skipping toward you and falling on their knees. "YN-SAN, PLEASE WILL YOU-" they shout at you, bowing on the floor and you just stare. why are they so...weird...?? "she won't be doing anything for you." tsukishimas low voice echos through tanaka and noyas ears, they quickly sit up and stare up at the blonde boy. "waitwaitwait you can't tell us what to do!" tanaka yells angrily and noya nods with his hands on his hips. "you're right, but i'm aloud to tell you to leave my girlfriend alone, because this girl doesn't know how to say no." he flicks your forehead and you cover it with both your hands, furrowing your brows up at him and he just chuckles through his nose. "G-G-G-G-GIRLFRIEND??!!" tanaka, noya, and hinata (who's been hiding behind tanaka) scream in sync. "stop screaming, you're gonna bust my eardrums." tsukishima grumbles, looking down at the hand that's been resting on your back, he looks at suga with a stare that says "can you not.". suga chuckles and his hand leaves your warm body. "yes, girlfriend, so don't try anything. i assure you she doesn't want any of you." he glares down at all three of them and hinata shivers in intimidation. "y-yessir." they say in unison. daichi stands up from his spot, clapping his hands together to grab everyones attention successfully. "food's about to be done, i'm sure you all are hungry?"

"they're so childish." tsukishima complains and tosses his headphones on the nightstand next to the medium sized bed, he sighs. "i think they're all nice, i like them." you tell him and sit on the bed, the mattress dipping down from tsukishimas weight when he lays down next to you. "don't show too much interest, those air heads and that little shrimp will get the wrong idea." he says with closed eyes. the light from the moon outside creeps through the thin curtains and paints his skin one shade lighter, emphasizing his features. his porcelain skin seems to almost glow in the moonlight, his hazel eyes closed shut, his usual furrowed brows resting for once, you even notice a few freckles splayed against his under eyes, and his glasses shine before you decide to respond to him. "it's okay kei, no need to worry about what they'll do." you assure him while slipping his glasses of his smooth face, his eyes remain closed while you run a hand through his short blonde hair, placing a soft kiss against his forehead and he sighs in content at your affection, doing nothing to stop you because you and him both know he's a sucker for your love. "i know, it's just..." he starts, his navy black eyelashes flutter as he opens his eyes, golden irises meeting with yours and his gaze lingers for awhile, and yours does too. tsukishima is a very, very handsome boy, with such an interesting personality, sometimes you wonder how you got so lucky. his enhanced cheeks dusting pink as he silently admires your face. "you're so...not an annoying pipsqueak. i'm just being cautious of those girl crazy dimwits." he confesses in a hushed tone, his eyes shoot across your eyes and down to your lips, making a triangular motion. "thank you...i think?" you say with uncertainty, and you laugh quietly. "you're very welcome." tsukishima says with a small smile on his lips. "lay down with me." tsukishima mumbles and you oblige plopping your body next to his tall figure, you place your elbow on the fluffed pillows while you rest your cheek on your palm. "what, tired from arguing with your teammates?" you say, a cheeky smile plastered on your lips, the apples of your cheeks mirroring the blush tsukishima has on his smooth ones. "course i'm tired, do you know how confusing it is to have a conversation with those morons?" you dont respond, only looking at him with a sweet smile, staring at him with an expression that screams "i love you.". he gives you a "stop smiling at me" look before adjusting his gaze from yours. "shut up and go to sleep." "i didnt say anything!" you shout and he quickly hushes you and forces your head down on the pillow under you. "sleep." he demands and he shuts his eyes. "kei, i cant sleep." you whisper to him, poking his side and he slaps your hand away softly. "just sleep." he whispers back, his eyes still shut as he adjusts his position so he's resting on his side and motions you to lift your head up, and you do. he slips the arm he was resting on around your shoulder and he pushes you closer to his chest, your face snuggled in his shirt, the smell of his laundry detergent filling your senses. "better?" he says with sass, but he's far from being irritated. "hmmm, you're missing something." tsukishima scoffs, pulling your head away from his chest and guiding it up to look at his flustered appearance that he thinks he's so good at hiding. his eyes never meet yours as he closes them and tsukishima leans in, your eyes flicker closed while you wait for his lips to connect with yours. and they do, they do so passionately it makes both of you lose your breath. he pulls away for a few seconds to let out a shaky exhale before pulling you in for another kiss. his soft lips move in sync with yours perfectly and he runs his long fingers through your hair while deepening the kiss, swiping his tongue against your bottom lip before his gentle lips leave yours. his gentle lips leave yours and he quickly looks down at your hand, intertwining his longer fingers with yours and he squeezes three times. "i love you."

there you were hand propped under your chin as you stared out the class window, the rain pattering against it as you twirled your pencil with your fingers. Everybody knew what a daydreamer you were, so nobody bothered to tap your shoulder. He wondered if anybody else could see the view he saw at that moment, your cute dazed expression. A strand of hair tucked behind your ear, your eyelids starting to grow noticably heavy as you put your pencil down. God you looked just like a dream.

He softly smiled gazing at your now sleepy expression, before seeing you cross your arms on your desk resting your head in the middle. He was about to look away when he saw you turn your head towards his way, your eyes fluttered shut as you snuggled your face into your arms. Is it wrong to wanna kiss someone this bad?

Kei was awoken to the sound of you whimpering, as his eyes fluttered open adjusting to the darkness he saw your hand bawled into a fist tugging his shirt gently, with tear stained cheeks. Feeling your figure shaking, his heart ached seeing you this. "Hey hey, its okay I'm here." He whispered, wrapping an arm around you. Pressing a kiss to your forehead he rubbed slow circles on your back.

Feeling your shaking come to stop, he was about to fall back to sleep when he heard his name. "K-kei?" Your eyes met his, sleepy yet afraid. "Whats wrong?" He asked, his tone gentle as he brushed a strand of hair away from your eyes. "Its nothing just..a bad dream." You muttered, your eyes falling back to your pillow. "Don't give me that, if you don't want to talk about you don't have to but, if it'll help you sleep I'm all ears." Looking back up at the blonde, you saw genuine care for you in his eyes. "Are you sure? I don't wanna keep you awake with my rambling."

Rolling his eyes he leaned down slightly to press a soft kiss to your lips, "Shortcake, if there's something thats bothering you don't hesitate to tell me. No matter if it disrupts my sleep schedule." He said plainly, making you smile softly. "Alright."

You said, watching your boyfriend examine the hell out of two tiny nail bottles. " You almost giggled at the question but chose the nude color, "Now hold still idiot." You watched in happiness as Kei put all of his focus on your fingers, staring in awe as he effortless coated each nail in paint easily.

Not empty spots no smudged paint, not even a drop outside of your nail. It had only taken him 2 minutes to paint one hand, "H-how did you-?" He grinned slightly at your confused expression, "Its called patience sweetheart, something you have very little of." You rolled your eyes as you put your hand under the dryer, "Whatever dummy." You muttered, a light blush on your cheeks from the nickname. "You gonna give me your other hand or-"

It was a warm night as you and kei sat upon your rooftop, a blanket around your shoulders that kei had brought because the slight breeze gave you a chill. Earning teasing eye roll from the middle blocker, resting your head on his shoulder you both gazed at the stars and moon in comfortable silence.

As you gazed at the moon you just so happened to remember your boyfriends name quite literally means the moon, stifling a slight laugh at your recollection you then took a glance up at kei. If there was one word to describe him in that moment it would be pretty. Now kei had always denied your compliments, the ones that were focused on his looks mostly.

However in this moment you wished he could see himself through your heart shaped pupils because everything about him looked like it came straight out of a movie. “Staring is creepy yknow especially when you do it, what do i have something on my face?” You quickly shook your head no before saying, “Do you think the moon is jealous of how pretty you are?”

You hated days like these.

You almost gave into his attempts to smooth things over, he never called you babe unless he was serious. But you were as well, and you hoped he would do something to prove himself. For both of your sakes.

When you woke up the next morning, you immediately smelt food in the air, was he cooking? Kei never cooked for you— fuck he was. Making your favorite breakfast at that as well, as you stepped out of the bedroom you also saw an frappacino from your favorite cafe. Hearing your footsteps advance, kei turned around seeing you with messy bedhair and wearing one of his old shirts. It was still big on you. “Is this for..me?” A small smile tugged on his lips, “Yes, of course.”

Coming around from the kitchen island, kei gave you a soft look as he gently took your hands in his. “I have no excuse for the way i acted with you for the past few days. I was rude, cold and completely ignored your feelings. And i did see the strawberry shortcake you made for me in the fridge. You didn’t have to do that, you don’t bake an asshole a cake dummy.” You couldn’t help the smile that made its way on your face, “Well back then I thought it would help-”

“God what do you see in me? You actually made me a cake when i should’ve been apologizing. Your such a dummy.” Despite his words, kei’s soft tone made your heart warm. Your eyes wobbled with happy tears, “Hey hey did i do something wrong-?” Letting go of his hands you wrapped your arms around his torso, shaking your head against his chest.

“No, I forgive you kei. But you owe me a kiss.” An airy chuckle fell past the blondes lips, “I knew you would say that.” Leaning down, he took your face in his hands, admiring your features for a second. Grinning slightly at your embarrassed expression, before pressing a passionate kiss to your lips. “Thank you for forgiving me.”

Ok ok I know a lot of people say that tsukki is a degrading, mean dom. But what about how he treats you for the first time? I can imagine he would take his time making sure you feel comfortable and will go as slow as you need.
