Loved this so much yesterday! I love that we got to see Grant Gustin sing again, and the lyrics of this song were absolutely perfect for the scene. This was so beautiful!

I absolutely despise seblaine because of how homophobic it's fanbase is and the fact that in canon it's rooted in malicious unsexy infidelity, and consists of the two of the most despicable characters being even more annoying than they usually are, and one of them isn't even redeemable.

But i always had this hilarious image of one them getting married because their elitist parents approve of them keeping it in the evil rich people community, something something they won't get their inheritance if they marry common folk etc.

It's not pure business, they start out okay, the sex is good or something if sebastian can inhale the hair gel long enough without passing out but then over the years the reality of being married to blaine anderson sinks in and they just kind of emotionally check out and either have an open marriage or just keep cheating on each other, Blaine bc that's just what he does and Sebastian bc a gals gotta cope.

They bring out the absolute worst in each other, the elitism, the cutthroat competitiveness, disregard for people's feelings etc

They tolerate each other but are incredibly snippy and shit to the point where their dinner guests get uncomfortable and stare like 👁️👄👁️

Blaine : Sebastian thinks hes making a difference in the world because he's an environment lawyer

Sebastian: I am, I do. I make a difference you sing showtunes with strained vocals for washed up queers who peaked in highschool.
