To transmit feelings with my words or with my art. That's the true desire of my whole life. I think that is the true core of my existence

Can we have everything? Is it possible to have a happy marriage, a great career, happy kids, a beautiful house, loyal friends, to be glad you're alive? Or is it just a lie of hollywood movies that happy endings exists?

What is it about the curve of your body that invites me to hold you in my arms until you melt into me and make a home in my heart and then beg you to keep staying there no matter how many homes you might belong in?

Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day,

Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.

But there’s only so much time in a day,

and there’s only so much fish in the sea.

So when everything’s said and done,

what’s left for me?

thinking about how most idioms have been dissected and had sections removed so that they can fit the expectations of society and be used to reinforce the ideals that the original version were exactly opposed to and how their meanings have been defaced and distorted to mean what we want them to mean.

example: “blood runs thicker than water” is actually “the blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb”

or

“birds of a feather flock together” is actually “birds of a feather flock together until the cat comes”

OR

“an eye for an eye” is ACTUALLY “an eye for an eye, a teeth for a teeth, and soon everyone will be blind and toothless”
