Please may I have a Fairy tail fluff scenario and obviously the Gruvia couple are married and everything with two children, you (their eldest daughter only eight years old *she is a water mage and everything*) and Greige Fullbuster only a year old (their youngest son). It was when Lyon and Meredy came round to Juvia's and Gray's place for dinner with their daughter, Jane who is the same age as you (Jane is your childhood friend) and she wanted to test something out much to your confusion when she asked you to bring Greige to the living room *your parents trusted you considering how good you are with your baby brother and you are a good kid anyways*. You said that you didn't really believe that it was going to work considering that Greige was only a baby *you and Jane were sitting in front of him on the living room floor and in front of Greige was several items on a blanket that were meant to represent what he would value most in life..a pen meant that he would value a career, a dollar bill meant that he would value money and a felt heart would mean that he would value love etc..

Imagine your surprise when Greige practically pushed those items aside to crawl over to you..you didn't realise that you were one of the choices when he practically went over to hug you. You practically cried when he did that big time..it was a sweet sight to see, you told Greige that you loved him too *you hugged him in a gentle manner*. You almost worried your parents *they rushed into the living room* but they were quick enough to catch on to why you were crying a bit (once Jane explained)..it was rare when you cried so it was bit of a surprise for Gray and Juvia.

Knock knock.

Knocking could be heard from the door of the home Juvia was first to react to the knocking on the door. "Don't worry darling I'll get the door. Continue setting the table!" Juvia spoke as she approached the door to the home.

Unlocking the door and opening it the guests for tonight's dinner. It was Lyon and his wife Meredy. However, they were not the only ones as their daughter Jane was also with them.

Dinner is something that the two families would have often together. It was a good way to keep in contact and have their children play and get to know each other. Of course, just like the many precious dinner nights, Jane was excited to see Y/N and Greige.

"Ah Lyon, Meredy it's nice to see you again! Oh and if isn't little Jane look how big you've gotten please come in!" Juvia greeted the three of them as she led them to the dining room and closed the door.

Juvia turned to Jane and bent down to be at eye level with her. "Y/N and Greige are just in the living room go on in they'll be happy to see you!" Juvia spoke as she turned away and spoke with the others.

"Thanks!" Jane spoke as she held her backpack and went into the living room to see Y/N and Greige. Jane was your childhood friend and you trusted her very much. You got along well with her and were always happy to see her.

"Hi Y/N! Hi Greige!" Jane spoke as she entered the living room and sat next to you and Greige. "Jane!" You spoke happily as you hugged her excited to see your best friend again.

Greige didn't say anything instead just opting to wave. Jane laughed as the two of you parted from the hug. "I'm happy to see you again as well Y/N. But look here I've got something to show you!"

Jane spoke as she set down her backpack opening it and taking out multiple items. She placed all of these items down on a red blanket. "What's with all this Jane?" Y/N spoke confused as Greige just watched.

"Well, I'm glad you asked Y/N! All of these items represent your desires or goals. Such a dollar bill represents the need and want of money. Or this pen represents the want for a good career in your future!

"However this isn't for you but instead Greige! Yes, he's super young but still! I want to see what he would choose. So go on Geiger choose one if you have questions just ask!"

Taking a moment to listen to what Jane had to say Greige started to move. Both you and Jane watched him with curious eyes to see what he would choose. However, both of you were surprised when Greige moved the items out of the way and hugged you.

"I choose Y/N..." Greige spoke as he held onto you. You were shocked at first but that was soon overwhelming with happy tears. You hugged Greige back while crying.

"Oh, I love you too Greige! You are the best little brother I could have asked for!" Hearing the crying Juvia rushed into the room. "What's going on is everything alright?"

Juvia spoke in a panic worried one of you might have gotten hurt. "Oh no it's fine they were just..." Jane went on to explain what happened and why you hugged Greige. Now knowing what happened Juvia's heart melted at the sight and was glad you both got along so well.

> after his brain processed what was going on he chased you around the house with a knife lmao. after a few rounds in the house chasing you, he beat you up and then went back to making ohagi, muttering angrily aggressive words.

> after preparing the ohagi, he shouted for you, who was hiding somewhere in the house form him. you went down the stairs hesitantly, still traumatized. the two of you sat across from each other at the table and now a flour-covered Sanemi and a beaten and traumatized Y/N are eating ohagi in silence. (lmao this scene is even funnier when you imagine in your head.)

> after that event you decided not to cook anything again for your life.

> after a while, you heard about Genya and when you learned how things were between them, you decided to reconcile them. (didn't end up good.)

> he is a bad teacher but he always spys on you to see your progress while you train alone. so mostly you have to improve yourself on your own.

> a cat lover tsuguko and Gyomei is a perfect match, also i imagine he has more than one cats in his house, i can imagine you crying with Gyomei when a pregnant cat gave birth. (someone bring napkin and chocolate for this two.)

> you don't do a lot of social activities together, but there are a lot of temple visits. but after a while he stopped taking you with him to temples, because... once as you two were climbing the temple steps, you slipped and fell down the stairs, when you raised your head up you saw a monkey staring at you and you stuck your tongue out at it, once while he was praying you got lost in the woods and you stepped on a mossy rock by a river and slipped then started drifting in the river lmao. he barely saved your life shouting namu amida butsu.

> even if you don't know what it means, soon you'll start humming the hymns he always chants because it's addictive. you even found a rhythm for the hymns that you didn't know the meaning of and turned it into a song. but you got chaught to gyomei singing that- you two were glancing each other and you had that Pikachu face again ehe (⁠・⁠∀⁠・⁠) Gyomei tried to exorcise you by claiming that the devil had entered you. and after this incident you never uttered a word of the hymn again. lol

You two get along very well with each other. since Genya was rescued by you and Gyomei when he went out of control after eating a demon. he stubbornly decided to follow Gyomei everywhere, he wanted to be his tsuguko but after finding out he already has one, he was dissapointed but you decided to help him practice breathing techniques. you wanted to help. he was so shy at first but over time he got comfortable with you.

a/n - got this idea randomly and didn't know who all to add but I thought it was cute so enjoy this lil post. (fyi this can be seen as platonic or romantic, I didn't write it in a specific manner!!!)

SATORU GOJO was confused (but compliant) when you randomly walked up to him and asked to measure his wrist. when you're done taking your measurements you walk away as if nothing happened and he's sat there wondering what the hell you were gonna do with his wrist measurements.

when you walk up to him around a week later with something clenched in your fist and a nervous look on your face, satoru asks what's wrong and you show him the cute little white and blue braided rope bracelet you had made for him. at first he doesn't know what to do because he's never received a gift like this before, but when he notices the bracelet on your wrist that looks almost the exact same as his, just different colors, he realizes what you were giving him.

"do you not like it?" you ask, closely watching his expression as he examines the object in your hands. when he hears your words he almost immediately snatches the bracelet from your palm and fastens it to his wrist, "actually, I love it, why wouldn't I?" he responds, holding up his wrist to look at the new accessory. "well, I-" you begin, but he cuts you off by pressing a finger to your lips, "that was a rhetorical question." he brightly says as he walks away, still looking at the bracelet.

needless to say, he loves it to death and shows it off to everyone, but if anyone dares to touch it he will not hesitate to smack their hand away in the harshest way possible.

MEGUMI FUSHIGURO doesn't question it when you ask him to hold out his wrist so you can measure it. he's friends with plenty of weirdos and they do random stuff all the time, so when you do this he just simply holds out his wrist and let's you take your measurements.

when you come up to him some time after that with your hands behind your back, he wants to question what you did this time, but stops himself when you grab his hand and place a red, white, and black braided rope bracelet in the middle of his palm. he gives you a look, then stares at the bracelet. "what's this for?" he asks as he glances at it with a surprised look.

"it's a friendship bracelet, I have one too." You reply nervously, holding out your wrist for him to see. your bracelet is exactly like his with different colors, and he watches closely as you tie it neatly on his wrist. he examines it for a few moments before mumbling a quiet 'thank you.'

even though he doesn't show it often, he loves the gift a lot. he doesn't usually have it on during missions because he's scared to ruin your precious gift, but when he's not getting roughed up on a mission it never comes off.

YUUJI ITADORI gives you a weird look before muttering a small 'sure thing' when you ask to measure his wrist. you walk away with a small thank you and he wonders what you could possibly be doing with the size of his wrist.

when you approach him a week later with a small smile on your face and your hand in a fist he genuinely wonders if you're about to punch him, but his fear is quickly dismissed when you hand him a red, blue, and pink braided rope bracelet that he ties onto his wrist almost right away. he is so happy when he sees that you're wearing one that's nearly the same as his own, and realizes that this is a friendship bracelet.

the smile on his face grows wider and he throws an arm over your shoulders, pulling you into a side hug as he examines the bracelet. he happily thanks you and tells you that he loves it a lot and that he's flattered you would gift him something like that.

he absolutely loves the bracelet and would hate to damage it, so he only wears it when he isn't on missions. he shows it off constantly, and flexes to everyone that you made this for him.

NOBARA KUGISAKI knows exactly what you're doing as soon as you ask for a wrist measurement because she makes bracelets all the time and nobody would just randomly ask that if making a bracelet wasn't what they were doing.

she doesn't say anything about it though, and waits until you gift it to her to act extremely surprised. yes, she's very thankful for your gift and absolutely loves the girly pink, yellow, and blue rope bracelet you handed her.

when she notices that you have a similar bracelet on your wrist, she almost immediately grabs yours and puts them side by side, the smile on her face growing so much it practically reaches ear to ear.

she's extremely thankful that you would go out of your way to make a friendship bracelet just for her and can't wait to tell everyone how much she loves her new accessory. in other words, she loves it and it never comes off unless she's on a mission.

MAKI ZENIN is giving you a weird look as you measure her wrist, not even questioning what you were doing and continuing her conversation with panda.

when you approach maki with a bracelet in your hand a couple days later, she realizes what you needed her wrist measurements for. "the hell's this?" she asks as you fasten the yellow, green, and purple rope bracelet onto her wrist.

"do you not like it?" you ask, ready to sadly take the bracelet back if she doesn't, "no I fucking hate it- of course I like it dummy." she sarcastically replies as she examines her wrist and then yours, noticing the similar bracelet tied around your wrist, and suddenly the bracelet means so much more to her.

maki absolutely loves the bracelet and it never comes off. not when she's in battle, not when she's asleep, not when she showers, never. if anyone even tries to touch it they're either on the ground in seconds or getting nastily glared at.

TOGE INUMAKI raises a brow when you ask to measure his wrist, but ultimately hands you his arm so you can take your measurements. doesn't question you as you give him a small thanks before walking away (as if he really can LMFAO)

toge is a bit surprised when you walk up to him with a tricolor bracelet some days after that, but when you put the bracelet on his wrist it clicks in his head what this is, a friendship bracelet!

he notices that you have a similar one on your own wrist and suddenly he's happy that his uniform covers half his face or else you'd be able to see the pinkish tint on his face. nobody has ever done something so simple yet sweet for him before and he's very happy.

to say the least, inumaki cherishes the bracelet as if it's not an inanimate object. because he doesn't actually fight most of the time, the bracelet never comes off, but when he has to go on a mission and physically fight he takes it off because he doesn't want to break it.

YUUTA OKKOTSU is confused and slightly nervous when you ask to measure his wrist, asking why you needed to. you gave him an unknown look before taking your measurements and walking off without another word.

when you return to him around a week later with a bracelet in hand, he realizes why you needed his wrist measurements. "what's this for..?" he asks as he examines the black, white and purple bracelet. "uh, it's a friendship bracelet. you don't have to take it if you don't want to!" you respond, unknowingly toying with your own bracelet out of nervousness.

yuuta softly grips your hand to examine your own bracelet, and realizes the similarities between the two. a smile appears on his face and he happily thanks you. "why purple, though?" he asks, a sweet smile still on his face, "I just thought it suited you." you smile back.

he adores you and the bracelet, and it's not often that he receives gifts so he automatically cherishes the bracelet. it never comes off and he's careful not to damage it when fighting, and if anyone tries to touch it he simply explains that it's special to him and if it breaks there will be consequences.

CHOSO KAMO gives you an unintelligible look when you ask to measure his wrist, but let's you do it anyway. he examines his wrist when you walk away, making sure you didn't place something on his hand, before returning to whatever he was doing before you approached.

when you nervously return to him with a dark purple and black braided bracelet, he resists the urge to grin at your nervousness. he is a man of few words, and ultimately surprises you when he lets out a loud and clear "thank you," before putting on the bracelet. although he's confused as to why you gave it to him, he examines it with care and appreciates it anyways.

choso doesn't show it, but he appreciates the bracelet a lot and it never comes off. if it's not on his wrist, it's in his pocket. if anyone dares to touch it, there will be problems.

Sanmei Shinazugawa:

-Sanemi is cold.

-Sure, he is protective but he also is quite cold towards you.

-He makes sure you have your own small home and he asked Master to have someone visit you once in a while.

-But he will never physically be there, unless he really needs to.

-If you ever get hurt by a demon, he will have you live at the Butterfly Estate right after are all healed up.

-He will act cold and like he doesn’t care when you thank him.

-“Don’t thank me, I don’t care!”

-Is what he says to you. But he does tell Shinobu to not let you get hurt again ever.

-Is secretly very protective.

-He only has you and Genya left after killing your mother. And since Genya risks his life being a demon slayer and he is a Hashira, he does not allow you to be a demon slayer as well.

Giyu Tomioka:

-He lost so many people in his life so far, that he is very protective of you.

-He let’s you live with him and you watched his whole training happen back in the day.

-While he is depressed from it all, from losing them, you are always a ray of sunshine somehow.

-He makes sure to always make you your favourite food.

-He makes sure you are safe and has his crow check up on you when he is away on a mission.

-When he introduces you to Shinobu one day when she visits Giyu, he frowns when she teases him.

-You let out a loud huff at that.

-“Leave my big brother alone, you oversized butterfly!”

-You say that with a lot of confidence and Shinbo stares at you while Giyu has to hold back a laugh.

-If you ever voice the wish to become a slayer, he will distance himself, which worries you a lot. Once you manage to see him eat lunch alone a few days later, you ask him again. He will tense up and sigh sadly.

-“If that is truly your wish, I will not stop you. But promise me to be careful. I cannot lose you as well.”

Obanai Iguro:

-This man is traumatized deep inside and so are you.

-You were both born into a clan that sacrificed their own children to snake demon for riches.

-He has the scars of it on his mouth still. You did not manage to get out unscared as well.

-The demon had considered you as too cute back then, so she had let one of his mouth corners be cut open as well.

-Once you had both been saved, Obanai always did his best to make sure you were safe and okay.

-He always makes you your favourite food when you feel bad.

-When you have your time of the month for the first time, he panics and asks Mitsuri and Shinobu what to do, so he knows what to do.

-He often talks about Mistrui to you.

-And you love to tease him over it.

-“So, when yis your cute girlfriend visiting again?” You ask with a smirk.

-He quickly smacks the back of your head. “Shut up!”

-You definitely make a bet with Shinobu about how long it will take him to propose to Mitsuri.

-If you ever voice that you want to be a slayer, he will make sure that you train under him.

Shinobu Kocho:

-The death of your big sibling hit both of you very hard.

-Since she only had you as family after that, she did everything she could to protect you.

-She made you learn how to fight, so you could always protect yourself.

-She 100% threatened requested her swordsmith to make a dagger for you.

-She taught you a lot about medicine.

-She has you work at the Butterfly Estate.

-She is very protective of you and if she ever catches anyone starting at you for too long, she will give them a cold threatening glare.

-“Take your eyes away from my little sister.”

-She says that with a smile. And it makes whoever started at you very uneasy.

-You defiantly tease Giyu with her when you see him.

-If you ever ask her to be slayer, she will say no and you fully understand the reason, so you never ask again.

-You and Aoi are 100% friends and love to talk about any kind of gossip.

Muichiro Toikto:

-The death of your twin hit you both very hard when it had happened.

-Muichiro had memory issues and even if they slowly got better, you were still always reminding him of stuff.

-You had cut your hair short so people could tell you both apart when anyone saw both of you at the same time.

-You lived at his home and he made sure to make you feel as happy as possible.

-When he got closer to Genya after the swordsmith accident, he introduced you two to each other.

-You were a ray of sunshine and when Genya was left all shy since you were a girl, Muichiro leaned to his ear.

-“If you ever fall for her, I will cut you apart.”

-And then he walks off with a small smile, leaving a now slightly scared Genya behind.

-He makes a lot of paper planes with you.

-Which makes you upset and he panics and quickly grabs some candy for you.

-She adores you and always grabs food with you when you visit her at her home.

-You both have the same sweet tooth so you two even drool about thoughts of delicious food.

-You and her send each other a lot of letters back and forth.

-You make sure to make new cakes for her when she visits you.

-And when you visit her, she makes new desserts for you.

-You both are over the moon when you find new food combinations.

-You eat a lot, just like her.

-The restaurant she always goes to loves serving you both food and even gives you desserts on the house.

-“For you, my favourite costumers!” Is what he says cheerfully.

-When she introduces you and Obanai, you are all sweet smiles.

-But once she leaves you two alone for a few minutes, you glare at him.

-“Hurt her and I will break your bones and rip an important limb off.”

-He is shocked and when Misturi comes back, you are back to smiling sweetly while Obanai masks his shocked expression the best he could.

it isn't really a surprise that kagaya has one of the most comforting presences. he might seem unapproachable—being the leader of the demon slayer corps, and all that—but if you can manage to get over that fact, then he is the best person to seek out for comfort.

oftentimes though, you don't need to seek him out at all. he is like a bloodhound when it comes to sniffing out when you're upset; there's no hiding your feelings, because he sees right through you.

on bad days, when a simple mistake is enough to bring you to tears, he will be there to kindly offer to take a walk around the estate together.

he won't force you to talk about what is troubling you; if you would prefer to not speak, then he is more than happy to fill the silence with idle comments about the pleasant weather, or how pretty the wisteria looks when it is fully bloomed.

if you do want to talk, then he is already leading you to a quiet spot and sitting you down on the soft grass so you have a little privacy. he'll sit right across from you, taking your hands and giving them a gentle squeeze.

that's enough to break the small amount of composure you had, and the tears begin to flow.

anything you need, he will happily give. comforting touch? he's pulling you into his arms and holding you against his chest, letting you press your tear-stained face into the front of his clothes without complaint. words of reassurance? he's whispering comforts into your ear while you cry, rubbing circles across your shoulder.

when you're ready to talk about what has been on your mind, then he is there to listen, chiming in with his own advice and guidance. if you aren't looking for suggestions, just somewhere to vent all of your frustrations, then he is willing to sit there and just listen.

no matter what you need, his presence is soothing, and spending a little time with him is sure to quell the surge of emotions spilling over.

tengen on the other hand, is rather... outspoken, when it comes to comfort.

he isn't one to shy away from his feelings; when he cares about someone, he will make sure they know it, and when he is upset he will be anything but quiet about it. the same rule applies when he is offering comfort to his loved ones: if you are upset, he will not rest until you are soothed.

it's an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. don't want to talk? that's too bad. you made the grievous error of being friends with him, and he will not leave you alone until you tell him what is wrong.

it's a little overbearing, but it comes from a genuine place. he just wants to see you feeling better, and he will achieve that through any means.

his first suggestion is to go out to eat—paid for by him, of course. he’ll take you anywhere you want, no matter how far away or pricey it might be. if you aren’t up for going out in public, that's fine too! that just means he will simply have to cook you a meal himself.

he also gives amazing hugs. like, 10/10. he’s very big and very strong, so being in his arms feels like the safest place in the world. if you ask for one, he will drop whatever he is doing and scoop you up into a hug.

he doesn't let go until you do, so if it means you're just standing there, quietly sniffling into the front of his clothes, then so be it. he isn't one to complain, he'll just keep patting your back comfortingly.

tengen is also a problem solver. he’ll wait until you’ve calmed down a little bit, but as soon as your breathing is steady and the tears are cleaned from your face, he’s sitting you down and getting you to properly explain what is bothering you so much.

from there, he does his best to work out a solution together, to either solve the problem or help ease it so it isn’t stressing you out so much. if it’s a person who is upsetting you, then he will deal with them himself. (no one gets to make his friend cry and get away with it.)

overall, tengen’s comfort is somewhat pushy, but surprisingly effective. by the time he leaves, you’ll forget why you were upset at all.

— MITSURI

if you're upset, mitsuri is upset. if you're crying, so is she. she can't help it! she's an emotional person, and nothing brings out her emotions quite like her friends. so the sight of your tears, the way your face crumples up, your cheeks glistening... oh, someone grab her a tissue.

she'll pull herself together quickly though, long enough to realize exactly what you need: comfort!

a hug is what she offers at first, and oh my, her hugs are healing. you thought tengen's were good? no, mitsuri is the queen of hugging.

there's something in the way she pulls you to her chest, draping her arms over your back with just the right amount of pressure to feel comforting without being stifling. even if you're bigger than her, she has a way of making you feel so small and protected in her arms, with how she murmurs comforts in your ear while tracing lines up and down your back.

stay there as long as you need, she won’t mind. she'll just keep pressing you close to her, humming soothing words into your hair.

she's normally affectionate towards her friends, but that affection doubles when she notices you're down. when you’re walking, she'll loop her arm through yours, bump your shoulders together and squeeze your hand. along with physical affection comes an onslaught of reassuring words, everything from letting you know how brave you are, to complimenting you on your outfit.

behind the endearments though, she is so nervous. all she can think about is how you're feeling, what's bothering you, what she can do to help...

mitsuri is torn. she doesn't want to be pushy and pressure you into telling her what's wrong, but she wants to do what she can to help you feel better, and how can she do that if she doesn't even know what is bothering you in the first place?

if you do decide to tell her, don't worry, she's an excellent listener. once you're done, she'll interject with her own advice and opinions, but while you explain to her what is going on, she's focused only on your voice, nodding along seriously.

if it's a problem she can help with, then all the better! she’ll jump at the opportunity.

it it's something outside of her control, then she'll turn her focus to making you feel like yourself again as soon as possible.

her methods include copious amounts of self care, hot spring baths, trips to your favourite restaurants, etc. etc.

in the end, it's hard to feel upset when she's pampering you so much. she's always there for you, and she'll make sure you know it!

— INOSUKE

inosuke has no idea how to deal with you when you’re upset. he barely understands his own emotions, so trying to figure out yours is extremely difficult.

he's confused at first. he looks around but there isn't any danger in sight, so he cannot understand why you are crying.

his first instinct is violence. by the time he sees your tears, he’s already got his swords in his hands, yelling at you to tell him where the threat is so he can destroy it for you. trying to explain to him that no, i’m just upset takes a while but he eventually gets it.

his second instinct is food. sharing food is his love language, so when he realizes you need comfort, he’s running off to find you something delicious to eat. whatever you like, he will track it down. something sweet? something sour? fried food? desserts? it’s on its way.

by the time he's returned, shoving a piece of the food straight into your mouth, you've already stopped crying. he'll wait patiently until you're finished eating—not even trying to steal bits of your food like he usually does.

only then will his third instinct will kick in: asking you directly what is wrong.

when you explain your issue, he returns to his first instinct. is someone messing with you? point him in their direction, he'll kick their ass. even if it's something less tangible, he's still prepared to physically fight it. burnout? grief? bad day? he has two swords for a reason, nothing is too tough for him!

it might be a little frustrating, explaining to him again that no, there is nothing to fight. please put your swords away, inosuke. but rest assured there is nothing but care and worry behind his brashness. he's upset that you're upset, but he doesn't quite know how to fix things, so he resorts to what he does know how to do. it irritates him to. o end, not being able to solve your issue because he wants to help you, truly.

unsurprisingly, he isn't the best at problem-solving with you. what he is good at is distractions.

remember when i said food is his love language? well his second one is roughhousing. it's like cuteness aggression, but in a friendship way. he sees you, and is so overcome with feelings of platonic love for you that he just sees red.

before you can blink, he's tackling you to the ground.

he'll get annoyed if you don't fight back, but he's surprisingly receptive to your limits. he doesn't push you too far or actually hurt you, he just enjoys the rush of adrenaline that play-fighting with his friends gives him. and if it serves to divert your attention, then that is just a bonus.

once you've had enough and shove him away, he just grins at you. with a seemingly endless supply of energy, he's pulling you to your feet and dragging you along on his next escapade, pushing your problems to the back of your mind in favour of whatever he has planned.

his logic is simple: if he can't help you sort out your problems, the least he can do is make you forget about them for a while. and that is exactly what he does.

“you're no fun when you're all sad like this. i want my friend back, so you gotta feel better soon, okay?”
