How does Louis celebrate his birthday:
He doesn't want to make a big fuss about it. He and Liam lived in the streets for quite some time, so he's used to not celebrating.
Albert won't let it slide.
He always gets the coolest celebrations every year.
Sometimes it's just him and his brothers, sometimes it's Moran and Fred too, and sometime it's just him.
He stopped celebrating his birthday after The Final Problem. It was meaningless.
He gets all sorts of things for his birthday.
But one thing is never missing from the list of gifts:
A bouquet of flowers.
Specifically azaleas, his favourites.
It's also the symbol used for him in the Morigang's flower code.
Why? Because azaleas symbolize family and unity.
Fitting for the foundational stone of the family.
The ever dependable one.
Sometimes people ask for favors in his birthday. He always complies. William wouldn't like him if he didn't. Though it would be nice to get a favor done for him.
Fred invites him to pets his cats, Moneypenny brews tea for him, Jack takes care of cleaning and Bonde takes him out to dinner.
Maybe his birthdays aren't meaningless, even without his own brothers around to celebrate.
Flower symbolism in Yuumori:
We all know that some characters have assigned flowers in the manga (Liam and Sherlock) and others in the anime (Louis, Albert and John), but I've never felt they're quite right. They seem a bit lackluster, so I tried to make my own list complete with meanings!
Liam: lilies. They symbolize purity, and are commonly a symbol of mourning, often found on gravestones of family members.
Albert: roses. They symbolize love, and the added touch of sub rosa interacts nicely with their goals.
Louis: azalea. As I've mentioned before, they symbolize family and unity, so it's only fitting they'd go to the one keeping the family together.
Moran: forget-me-not. They symbolize undying love and loyalty, and past memories. Very fitting for a soldier.
Fred: edelweiss. They symbolize courage and devotion, two things Fred has a lot of.
James: belladonna. Not only do they symbolize beauty and confidence, they were also used by cosmetics by victorian women.
Moneypenny: jasmine. They symbolize grace and elegance, and are both used in tea and perfumes, making it a nice touch for her.
Herder: periwinkle. They symbolize friendship and new begginings, both things he heavily desires, if we are to go by chapter 12.
Sherlock: iris. They symbolize strenght and intelligence, both things he has a surplus of, and also have the additional meaning of wisdom, which he acquired in NYC.
John: violet. They symbolize loyalty and hope, both of which are always fitting themes for any Watson of any media.
Miss Hudson: zinnia. They symbolize affection and absence, a way to show how much she missed her boy during the timeskip.
Mycroft: nasturtium. They symbolize patriotism and conquest. Only fitting for the Queen's right hand man, isn't it?

William was walking around the halls of the mansion, looking for you because you hadn’t shown up for breakfast this morning.
None of the other boys knew where you were, they were all worried but the one most of all was William.
Walk slowly to make sure he don’t miss anything.
At one point he heard a hiccup.
Just one, it seemed like the person in question was trying not to be heard.
William approached the room from which he heard the noise.
He tried to open the door but it was closed.
"Darling, are you in there? Can I come in?"
There was a minute’s silence, no one seemed to answer, but William was sure you were in that room.
He didn’t move an inch, he was just waiting for you to open the door.
"my my, you still don’t want to open the door dear?... Honey, you know I just want to help you mh? Please, open the door"
There was another moment of complete silence, which didn’t bother William, he knew you weren’t a girl who liked to talk about her feelings so easily.
So he gave you time, time to think, time to understand, and time to make sure you can trust him.
At one point he heard the sound of a key entering the lock and starting to turn, as William had pointed out, it just took you some time.
You opened the door, revealing what a terrible state you were in.
The slightly ruffled hair, your sobbing voice and your red eyes with tears at the edges of your eyelashes that were too small to fall and wet your cheek.. Seeing you like this broke William’s heart.
As William entered the room, you quickly closed the door and threw yourself into his arms in a hug that you hoped would comfort you.
You both were pretty quiet.
He kept the silence of the one who was waiting for answers, and you where trying to stop the hiccups.
"I-i'm sorry... I didn’t want to disturb you so abruptly in the morning." You told him between hiccups.
"Don’t worry, you doesn’t bother me at all indeed... I want to help you, I told you before remember?" he answered you in his most calm voice.
Just slightly lifting his head he noticed that you two were in a room where the curtains almost completely obscured the room.
You were in an old guest room that you don’t usually use.
It was a well appointed room, however, there was a double bed, a sofa, a large wardrobe and a coffee table to put your belongings.
'A very good hiding place indeed' thought William, as he tried to find out if this was or was not the first time you came to this room to 'let go of your negative thoughts'.
"Do you want to sit on the sofa? So you can explain to me what is this horrible problem that makes my little angel look like this?" He asked you as he pulled away slightly from the hug to look you in the eye.
“All right..” You almost answered him in a whisper
Before you could sit down he stopped you taking your wrist:"Darling, you don’t have to talk about it now, or necessarily with me.. Just tell me what you feel and if there’s something you don’t want to tell me, I can understand it, all right?" he said with a genuinely concerned attitude.
"William.. You’re the best boyfriend I ever had, really. I love you" You answered in a tone amazed by those kind words that had made you accelerate your heart rate.
"Glad to hear you say so, I love you too...Now tell me, Who or what has made my precious, adorable angel suffer?”

It has become William's custom to bring you a bunch of red roses at least once a month.

Basically I think the situation would be very tense. But really, really, really tense.
Both you and William have your faults. Yours is not to have warned him of your pregnancy,instead, his was in itself the extreme act of patriotism.
He’s gonna think about how you might be mad at him after not telling you something so important. Not to mention how he thought you wouldn’t trust him anymore, leave him and forget about him.
While you, apart from the happiness of seeing him still alive and the desire to embrace him, you are afraid of his reaction to pregnancy. You were afraid that he might refuse to be a father, that he would refuse to have a family with you, and that maybe he would also deny knowing you and the baby once he/she was born.
Probably as soon as you two meet there will be a long and harrowing moment of silence. One way or another, however, you will start a conversation that will definitely change your lives.
