Working on a prop laspistol for 3D printing

Tried out a polymer reciever look, and experimenting with an optional sight rail

I think the sight rail mounting needs work - might end up with a rail all the way along the top?

A dovetailled mount on the side seems sturdier

Or I could just block the iron sights I guess?

Polymer-framed Warhammer 40k Laspistol sculpt

First time using Zbrush, little alien head I made.

Been in my drafts since like 2017-18 from when I was learning to sculpt digitally, I have like 600 or so rough sculpts I just never did anything with but this was a timelapse idea after I realised I could make easy timelapses if it’s just one object and I just reverse through the history.

A custom chess set I was sculpting for fun in 2019, didn't sculpt the entire set and I don't have the software to render them like the first 2 anymore but here are some screenshots just quickly looking at it.

Fred Fredburger - 3D Blockout I started doing Shane Olson's 3D Character Workshop this month! I'm still on the first week, but it's been great so far, the best classes I've ever seen in fact.

for my first blockout i've decided on Fred Fredburger from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy. I'm still gonna do some more until the deadline, so you can wait some more till the end of the week!

hey thought id post some progress on this head iv restarted  4 times.  dont worry he wont be so boring when im done (probably gana be back on my old sh** with some elf ears. i think i reached the point where i can add secondary and tertiary detail then get moving on texturing and ornatrix !! so excited!!! ill keep ya posted ;3  #zbrush #portrait #zsculpt #3dmodel #3dart.

my obsession with hsr Sunday leads me places i wouldn't even go in a dreamscape. can't believe I'm trying sculpting again.
