Archi was made for a stop motion project, we had to choose a person that was significant to us /the area we spent our winter break!
I chos poly styrene a mixed race black creative credited with starting/inspiering the riot grrrl and Afro punk scenes.
Her style consisted of a lot of day glow athstetics and thrifted knit wear which want common of the punk scene though definitely fits with the punk ideology! She was a poet a singer and a lyricist
She first came to my attention by the inclusion of the song ‘poser’ by x-ray Spex , a punk rock band she fronted for, In the stop animation film ‘Wendell and wild’

3D printing update - More testing of the capabilities of Simplify3D. Still has issues with local minima, which means you have to add intermediate layers, which can cause stepping issues on the outside

Sneak peak of current project. Getting a smooth coat of pink is taking a *LOT* of coats
plusle.... in 3D.......... i spent uhhh 1-2 hours on it??? on call with friends. i was laughing very giddily all the way through

Two sculpts I made a while ago and decided to finish and take pictures of today!
Fun Fact: I actually did the springbonnie one a day before an extremely important math exam and two other sculpts (which I haven’t posted yet) we’re also done while I was procrastinating for two other math exams:,)). So in conclusion math tests motivate me to do everything except for math which is of course just so amazing and very convenient for my teachers who have to grade them
Also the software I used for the sculpting is Nomad Sculpt and I edited the screenshots together in procreate!!
