9 Favorite Shows as GIFS Ask Game
Thanks for tagging me @throughthejunobush 🥰
I literally could have listed at least twelve animated shows. I really love cartoons. I tried to balance it out with live action for ya'll. Again, this is a list that's gonna age the fuck outta me. Oh well 🤷 These are in no particular order.
Batman: The Animated Series: Visually stunning. Dark AF. The most heartbreaking portrayals of villains ever put on the screen. As a Batman fangirl, if you asked me which actor gave the best portrayal of Batman ever made, I would say Kevin Conroy in BTAS. It also had the best Joker. Don't @ me.

Supernatural: I'm not gonna explain it. It is what it is.

Daria: The character I've related to most in the entire world.

Forensic Files: Yeah. It's gross and horrific. I love it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I'm aware that the creator is a fucking creep. But he formed so much of the way I write, I can't leave it off the list. Also, Zaddy Giles. That's it. That's the sentence.

Avatar: The Last Airbender: Nothing to explain. It's brilliant. Although I'm gonna die mad about Zuko and Katara never getting together. They were literally fire and water. Clearly OTP. I. WILL. DIE. MAD. ABOUT. IT.

Futurama: Like most of this list, the show was a combination of vulgar humor and intense heart. It's a goofy cartoon about an idiot & a hedonistic robot. But it's also is about the nature of God. The pain of feeling utterly alone. The escapable heartache that hope can sometimes cause. And the power of love to survive when all else fails. Without an ounce of hyperbole, it also boasts the single saddest episode of any show ever created. Just the though of it is making me teary eyed while I type this.

Home Movies: I am still obsessed with this show. I also loved its precursor, Dr. Katz. It was hilarious but also did amazing work with its themes. The way it bookended episodes and the entire series. The juxtaposition of Brendan and Coach Mcguirk's journeys... It's just an extremely well-written show about a fucked up little boy and his even more fucked up father figure and how they navigate the world through self-delusion.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: My greatest love. Creator of my favorite Christmas song and my favorite Werewolf song. And it's also the reason why it's a bad idea to invite me over to watch ANYTHING. I will roast the fuck outta your favorite movie with unending snark. Also, no need to ask. The answer is Mike.

My favourite trope has always been slow-burn enemies to lovers. I couldn't comprehend why for a while, but I simply think that it has to do with my own expectations and standards, right?
Like beyond the sexual tension and physical attraction that you could get out of a "love at first sight" romance. Or even the mutual appreciation that's already founded in a "friends to lovers" plot. The enemies to lovers arc is usually, if not always, about how two characters came to fall in love after accepting the other's flaws and acknowledging their faults before realising they got a pretty good side. They have only seen the bad but can't seem to distance themselves from this person. Add in the slow burn when they really have seen it all at this point and still can't let them go.
And it's sad, but I have always felt like my flaws are so much more visible. They just stand out. Therefore, people may have to spend too much time with me to actually like me, let alone fall in love with me. And they probably are gonna dislike being around me before doing so as well. But then at least they know what to expect and how to manage (if that makes sense) so the relationship would hopefully last ?(〃ω〃)
What's your favourite trope and why?
You might want to argue what type of love Zuko felt for Katara, either platonic or romantic, but there’s no arguing that he loved her. That much was obvious. It was obvious in the way he looked at her, defended her, helped her, and threw his life by the wayside for her. Damn… call it whatever you want, but it was a fierce love.

Oh.My.Gosh. is this a pride and prejudice zutara au?
It totally is. Ugh, I'm fangirling so hard right now

"you, and you alone, are the keeper of the key to my heart."
It's apparently Zutara's month, so it's worth remembering this gem ♥️✨
7. What’s your favourite Zutara moment from the show?
I love all Zutara moments, because it shows development in every season. But, I would never forget how June being Zutara shipper in every appearances. This is my random thought! Very random thought!

June looked closely when Zuko showed Katara's necklace. Since she was from earth kingdom, she probably didn't know it was a betrothal necklace. But, very clear the necklace belong to a girl.
But, she was a bounty hunter, she worked for anyone who paid her, they could be from anywhere . So, there was possibility she learn about other nation cultural like betrothal necklace from Northern Water Tribe.
A prince using a (betrothal) necklace to looking a girl? (Maybe he made it for her, but she run away?) Well, the conclusion was, "What happened? Your girlfriend run off on you?"
And Zuko didn't deny it.

June was right, the necklace belong to a girl. A beautiful girl! “So this is your girlfriend. No wonder she left, she's way too pretty for you.”
And again, Zuko didn't deny it!

June didn't know what happened after that, but the Prince Pouty came again to her and now TOGETHER with the girl. Not only that, June saw Katara wore her necklace.
What sense situation except, "I see you worked things out with your girlfriend."
This time they denied it!
But, what a reaction if there was nothing between them?
Zuko never give a f*ck before every time June teased her with Katara, why he suddenly so shy and denied it? And Katara made the same reaction as she denied her relationship with Jet! Something fishy!!

And in the very same night after someone assumed that they were together, they slept like this! Remember, Aang was missing that time, no one knows where he was or was he okay. But, look at the little smile on Katara's face! I wonder, what were they talking about before they say good night?

Love this one 🌸
Nothing, just Zutara and pink flower in her hair! 🥲🥲

Say what you want, but I firmly believe (and know it is true) that the ONLY reason Kataang was canon is because the show was made for kids and just like how they avoided showing characters dying on screen (Jet, for example) they wanted to make the sappy kids who have apparently loved eachother forever get together, like a fairy tale. Because if it had been made a few years later and was targeted at am older audience, Zutara would have ended Kataang's existence. Sorry not sorry.
