Katara And Zuko - Tumblr Posts
Currently watching Avatar the last airbender and I realised how dangerously obsessed I am with the enemies to lovers trope. Because I'm currently rooting for katara and zuko to end up together. And I'm sure I can't be the only one, right? RIGHT ?
When Roku said " Some friendships are so strong they can even transcend lifetimes." I just cried, it was so touching.
It's such a beautiful and powerful quote and that whole episode was just a masterpiece.
Nickelodeon justifying why we didn't get zutara as endgame by claiming that a character, who has had one of the best redemption arcs in history( and I'm an expert in those🤭), is a "bad guy" and shouldn't get the girl is downright the worst argument I have ever heard ( and I'm an expert in those too🙂).
Uncle Iroh is such a cool character:
Best father figure
His jokes are genuinely funny
He makes the best tea
Supports you and helps you find the right path
Gives vague but useful advice
Has got experience
Has learnt many lessons that he's happy to transmit
Has been tested and approved by dragons then lied about killing them to protect them.
Soooo strong and humble about it ( a little bit hihi)
Loves music and is quite talented ngl.
He BREATHES actual fire.
And what a flirt iykyk.
I just noticed how Azula almost never looks at mirrors. She always avoids looking at her reflection. Because she sees her mom. The one person supposed to love her unconditionally. Who then ended up calling her a monster and treating her like one until that's all she thought she could be.
Second favourite trope of all time would be "soulmates." I believe they exist. Actually, I know they exist (I'm muslim✨️). The thought of having somebody so infatuated with you. They will love every single thing about you. Being so fond of you. Caring for you, protecting you, being your home, and you being theirs. There would always be mutual respect and understanding.
Even the stories or legends in a culture about this trope give me goosebumps. For instance, I've always adored the "red string of fate" legend. Whenever it's insinuated in a show or a book, I become a wheezing mess.
P.S.: In Islam, it's very clear that soulmates exist. There is this verse in the Quran that says: "And We created you in pairs." How beautiful is that🥺 ???
So dear writer, when your lovers are described as "destined to be" in any way, shape, or form. Know that I'm screaming, giggling, kicking my feet, and just dying out here. XOXO 😘
Thanks for enjoying this Ted talk \(^^)/.
People might find it less amusing when they already know that the book (or fanfiction) they are reading is actually an enemies to lovers. It makes it less fun because whenever the protagonist or their love interest go on a very long monologue about their hatred towards their soon to be lover, it's less thrilling. Since we already know what's coming for them hihihi 🤭. But for me, it's always been about getting to that one moment where they just go "oh no"( preferably written in italic). That moment when they realise they have been spending too much time thinking about this person that they despise so much. When they finally acknowledge that if they are pinning each other every time they meet it's because they just enjoy the proximity . It's all about that one moment and ughhhh, it drives me crazyyyy.
Oh.My.Gosh. is this a pride and prejudice zutara au?
It totally is. Ugh, I'm fangirling so hard right now

"you, and you alone, are the keeper of the key to my heart."
