Anne Shirley - Green Gables series and adaptations - Demiromantic

I love Anne a lot and related to her a lot growing up. I hc her as demiromantic partially because it takes her so long to recognize that her feelings for Gilbert have turned romantic. There are also a few other things:

She idealizes what she thinks she wants in a romantic partner based on the books she grew up reading

When she finally does have this, she has to come to the realization that she's not actually attracted to men like that and that her romantic feelings are inclined in a different way than she had expected

When all her friends are starting to fall in love with people around them (and not just crushing or romanticizing), she is still figuring out her feelings and how they differ from those around her

Also, Project Green Gables made their version of Anne demiromantic, which is amazing, so go check that out if you're an Anne fan and haven't yet

Kix - The Clone Wars (2008) - Aspec

Admittedly, I have written quite a few fanfics with Kix at the center of them. no i will not be linking my ao3 on this post this blog is separate for personal reasons No matter how many times I write him, he just screams aspec to me. Particularly in the way that he just doesn't care for romance or sex and doesn't ever bother with them or trying to figure out if he falls anywhere on any sort of spectrum.

Along those lines, if he ever did feel any sort of attraction to anyone, he just brushes it aside. He's like "ah, okay" and just continues about his day. Nobody ever questions him about it and he goes about his life doin' his own thing. He's living his best life (in regards to that... let's not get into the tragedy of his story right now, I do that enough in fics lol)

Are there more specific terms to define him? Yeah, probably. He just tells everyone "I'm fine as is" if the topic ever does actually arise and that's good enough for everyone

Yelena Belova - Marvel - Aroace

I've heard she's aroace in the comics? Queen. Hopefully it'll actually translate over into the MCU, but given the MCU's treatment of a lot of their characters over the years, I just hope they don't make too much of a mess with whatever they do

A favorite moment: when Natasha asks her what she wants to do with her future (settling down, etc) and she says she wants a dog

Also I love the concept of there being an aroace Widow. She also reminds me a lot of my own little sister, who is ace. Iconic, really
