I had this comic since 7 months in my drafts after I got asked about my Headcanons with Researchethics Pokemon. My toxic perfectionism was very mean with me on this one and was unsatisfied with it;; but today I kick its ass 🔪

Comic and explanation under the cut:

Since Colress can have either a Porygon2 or PorygonZ when you battle with him in the Battle Tree I thought about... what if he had two Porygon2's at first and never found anyone to trade with + never found a dubious disc in the beginning to evolve it.

And then it hit me that Faba gives you a dubious disc at the end of the battle after the Rainbow Rocket incident and his demotion.

And then it hit me again that they could trade Pokemon together to make Porygon2 finally become the Porygon-Z it always wanted to be.

And as thank you Faba gets knifed by Porygon-Z out of affection /ref to one of @/katbam s post

The Cat Faba just came naturally- I was just doodling him and then it happend.

On the other hand I was itching to draw Petrel because he is a dumb //affec and BECAUSE I NEVER DREW HIMMM. Really have to study him more and see how I prefer drawing his hair.

I am sorry I have to let out a little rant about them:

I will explain their dynamic hopefully more in a future post, but in my Pokemon story Universe where Lilac has her adventures, these two lovely idiots are brothers because just look at them.

Basically Petrel is C H A O S while Faba wants everything nice, clean and tidy and literally gets angry about everything Petrel does. And man does Petrel love seeing him angry and fed up by him.

Faba is the older "Big bro" but gets bullied (brotherly) for being shorter and gets made fun of/teased by Petrel verrrry often for literally anything. Also watch them have make up rivalries and insult each other how shit the other looks (as said everything is in a not harmful and joking way ✋🏻)

As much as they bully each other, they shared the same shitty household they grew up in and deep inside they are there for each other and understand each others mindset about how they see the world a lot. But you will never see that because they only talk about these things privately.

Since Faba loves Masked Royal and Lilac (my OC) got to meet Eri during her Paldea Adventures and became best friends with her, I thought it would be very cute if they went to watch a wrestling match between the two and cheer for their Idols together happily 🥹💜💚

The hardest part of the drawing was definitely Masked Royals signature.

Ennas name comes from the "Sea Bean" also known as "Entada gigas". Since she is attached to Faba I wanted to give her a name related to beans.

Quarell is just a shortend word of Aquarell, German Word for Watercolor. Since he is attached to Colress I wanted to give him a name related to Color (since Colress is based on colorless.) Color+ water bc fish AU = Watercolor.

And Aelas is based on Atlas and eel just because it sounds cool

Enna would be like "I am a princess and you should treat me as such ò ó" and when you ask her to play with her she does a 180° in personality and is just: ( ⁠•͈⁠ᴗ⁠•͈⁠) let's playyyy!!

Aelas is just. Idk. Born insane okno. Since I have something for fictional family drama and imagine Faba and Colress would be kinda not the best parents and probably be overwhelmed, Aelas took that personally and became a mix of their Grey morality and just...does questionable things. Hooray!! The two devils have spawned a devil child. ( ≖ ^ ≖) not fully happy how he looks like but it does the job
