Angels theory time!

ok, following this theory (made in partnership with my colleague @sparkbeast20, thank you sparks).

We can say that demons and angels can and do have a system of "life" after death.

Look, think with me, we know from annon that demons and angels have a perspective on life and that they are in fact not immortal, a fact disclosed in several lessons and proven later when we almost lost one of them (*cough thanks thirteen*cough).

However, it was never said what happens to their "soul" when they die (or if it was said then I don't remember).

Following the concept of magic = soul energy/spirit = energy, we can conceptualize that demons and angels (*cough lilith *cough ) somehow have a "soul"/spirit.

With that in mind we can assume that the "life"/death of demons/angels follows a cycle

(Brain: Presents the image of Diavolo holding Luke on his castle balcony performing to the people below while playing endless loop in the background*.

me: shut up)

ahem....where this "energy" does not dissipate anymore and is reused transforming into something else (based on the law of physics), however the result of this transformation will be equivalent to the level of power that the demon / angel has in life.

for example a Little D can transform into an animal or a plant native to devildom, while the demon king I believe that when he dies he becomes one of the layers that separate devildom from the literal "hell" thus maintaining the role as ruler/protector of his people.

another idea would be that when a demon/angel dies another one is "born" taking its place, this new demon/angel possesses the same/or a part of the energy of the demon/angel that died.

Ok so I was wondering if it's been mentioned anywhere whether the brothers have been demons for longer than they were angels? I'm just thinking if Satan has been in the family longer than Lilith was...

It hasn't been mentioned BUT

I have a theory, created through canon, filled with speculation where canon left gaps and spiced with blasphemy because this is OM! and that's a given at this point

In Lesson 11-7 Mammon says he's over 5000 yrs old

Creationists believe Earth to be around the same age (around 6000). The whole Adam & Eve and The Forbidden Fruit thing was supposed to have happened around the same time too.

Despite taking parts of religion for its lore OM! does not follow religion and doesn't seem to follow Creationism (Mammon mentions years in the millions, Dinosaurs were mentioned once or twice while I think they don't appear in creationism? I'm not 100% sure how the dinosaur thing works in it tbh)

I believe OM! Lilith feeding her human lover forbidden food from the Celestial Realm (to heal him) is OM!'s version of The Forbidden Fruit. So it happened over 500 years go.

In a lot of places it feels like the brothers consider their lives in the Celestial Realm separate from their ones in the Devildom despite the fact that they haven't changed much personality wise. And that makes sense because after the Fall you could even go as far as to say that they were reborn as Demons because of the way that even their bodies and magic changed

So when Mammon says he's over 5000 years my theory is that he meant he's been a demon for over 5000 years.

If ^ that's true then it means that Satan's full (physical -> because Satan manifested as a partially conscious being in Lucifer even before Asmo was created) age is the same (so 5000-6000 years).

Satan was probably a child when he was created because the game says Lucifer spent time raising him and because it's heavily hinted that Mammon spent time raising him as well (link)

So it took Satan maximum 5000-6000 years to grow from a child to someone who looks like he's in his 20s (the game says Satan's going through his rebellious teenage stage but I think that's just a constant with Satan and not a phase)

The brothers still looked the same as they do now when they Fell meaning they grew from newly created angels to looking like they were in their 20s while in the Celestial Realm (so max 5000-6000 years)

The brothers fought in the War against the Demons for a significant amount of time - long enough for Levi to be made a General and Mammon & Beel to be moved up the Angel hierarchy. One can assume (and pray) they were all full grown adults when they entered the War.

So they entered the War at 5000-6000 years and spent an unknown but significantly long time fighting in the War. They then spent more (yet a relatively smaller amount of) time in a truce before their Rebellion

So with this theory, they've spent more time with Lilith than they have with Satan (despite Satan's consciousness technically forming long before Lilith was created)

When writing fics I like to say the brothers (minus Satan) are actually millions of years old because I like the idea of MC seeing this ancient, eldritch creature and going "I'm gonna smooch that"

Following this theory

🦇 The first 1,500 years the brothers were agitated because there were dangers everywhere, they had to quickly adapt to the new instincts, laws and culture of their new home.

🦇 Lucife more than the others had to face a "battle" from several sides to keep his brothers safe.

🦇 His predecessor did not accept his position as the prince's right-hand man, because of his background in the celestial kingdom, even though he was recognized as the successor of the avatar of pride.

🦇 He (the predecessor) did everything to disturb Lucifer, in a discreet way, he was always the biggest threat against the brothers even in his "retirement", he still knew how to use the brothers' behavior against them.

"After all, how can a child of the celestial kingdom know more about demons than the demons themselves?"

🦇 That's where luci's paranoia about tarnishing the diavolo's reputation came from.

🦇 Lucifer had his first contact with the Belmort in the 3rd generation in which the family was founded, as they already had a very good reputation in the 3 kingdoms.

🦇 Let's just say that his predecessor disappeared through mysterious means.

🦇 It was a win/win for both sides, luci gains his position and maintains an alliance with the belmot clan and the belmot doesn't have to worry about excessive demonic kills/attacks besides having a new weapon.

🦇 That's when they got the morning star.

May I request hc's or whatever you'd like to do for the Obey Me x Castlevania? Fem!MC that's a descendent of the Belmont clan (which I think you had as being from Lilith's second child.) and/or carrying on the Belmont tradition of monster/demonslaying in the modern/current time? I don't know if you include the Castlevania games but there was an active Belmont during 1999/2000's during Soma's time. With maybe Belphie, Beel, and Barbatos or Diavolo?

🐝I didn't care about humans at first, I felt a little sad because the exchange program student had a companion so she wouldn't be alone.

🐝The friend was kind to have offered the food she had, although she is very quiet, I think she is afraid of me.

🐝(they fight and he is intrigued/amazed by her skills, she kicks hard!, the fight was amazing although it was annoying to elude your brother and his annoying questions, he may be walking crookedly but that's nothing!)
