So I want to make a habit of practicing drawing but don't want to keep drawing my same characters over and over again all the time

Heyo, Zara Rodriguez, here. Not sure if I should say that every time but oh well.

Today was uh, weird, I think my step mom took those stupid emotion pills. I don’t like how she acts when she takes them, I dunno how to describe it, it’s just unnerving.

I uh, once saw a guy who took them start having his body become disfigured and bend in ways it wasn’t supposed to, it all happened so quickly. It was really disturbing and gross.

Anyways, uhm, step mom gets impulsive and loud when she takes the medication. I shouldn’t complain because it’s honestly the nicest she’s ever been but it’s still disturbing.

In case these stupid emotion meds don’t exist in the future, the meds were regulated by the government because people were committing suicide at terrifyingly high rates, not being able to cope with the reality of the world we live in. So the economy was in shambles because there were too many people dying and not enough people working.

They can’t force you to take the meds but they can interrogate you on why you don’t take them.

School was the same as it normally is, nothing super different, just keeping to myself and trying to do the stupid work and not fail the classes.

Um, I well searching through my granddads cellar, cuz y’know, he let me, and I found a bunch of old uh, “analog” or “vhs” tapes as they’re called I think. Anytime I’d been in there beforehand, granddad would get super protective of those tapes and tell me not to mess with them. But, he needed me to do something in there while he’s out of town, I found what he needed but I took the tapes home along with his vhs player.

So I figured, since he’s out of town, it wouldn’t hurt to take a look, right? They’re just a bunch of old tapes, they can’t do anything. I wonder what’s on them…

Hopefully something interesting, my life is too boring as it is. If it turns out to be nothing then at least I got to look at some real vhs tapes, bragging rights I guess. So not a total waste of time

Vhs tapes are like, crazy expensive and rare to get nowadays, granddad says they were passed down to him from his grandparents, and they were passed down to them by their grandparents, and so on and so forth. But apparently they used to be made all the time in the past.

Anyways, I’ll watch these tapes and get back to you.
