"If only you could see things from my perspective right now."
Pairing: Idol! Lee Felix x reader Genre: Angst - frustration from rehearsals, established relationship, comforting Felix, fluff towards the end. (I would seriously go to war for Felix)

Pulling up to the JYP building always filled you with excitement. Every time you step through the front doors, you never knew what was awaiting for me. Part of that was due to the eight rowdy boys who called the building their second home. You often heard them before you saw them.
Felix and you have only been together for a few months now. You were still an unfamiliar face walking around the building, which the boys used to their advantage when they wanted to pull pranks and get into trouble. Well, seven of them were always up for causing chaos. Chris preferred to watch from afar and quickly clean up any messes that popped up before anyone noticed. Such a great leader.
You were easily becoming a part of the Stray Kids family. The younger members looked to you as a shoulder to lean on, someone to give advice. Felix’s hyungs approved because they saw how much joy you brought to their sunshine. You were never shy of showing you affection for Felix, always reminding him of your pride in not just being his partner but watching him do what he loved the most. You helped bring normalcy into their lives where they were just a group of guys in their 20s living their best life. They just happened to have high profile careers.
You, on the other hand, worked in the nonprofit sector. Your job focused on education opportunities for immigrant youth. Ironically, your job occupation is one of the many things Felix found attractive about you. Not only was he captivated by your beauty, but he admired your drive and compassion. It takes a lot from someone to do the work you do, but you made it seem so effortless. It just showed how much you cared.
It was late on a Thursday night. You and your team had been prepping for a fundraising event which was taking much of your attention and energy. Nobody really understands how much goes into a nonprofit until they work in one.
Today was one of the days where you two felt like you were pulled in different directions. Felix has been busy the last few days with dance practices, so you knew he had late nights as well. You two would send texts to each other throughout the day, checking in and supporting each other the best you could. Saturdays were reserved just for the two of you for date nights though, so you were relieved knowing you’d see him soon.
The only thing on your mind was ordering take-out and sleeping. That completely changed though when you got a call from Chan. That's odd. He never called me.
You picked up the phone as you put your keys into the apartment door, about to unlock it. "Hey Chan, what's up?" "Y/n? Are you still at work?" "No, I actually just got back to my apartment. What's going on?" "Come to the studio. Now. It's Felix."
Your heart dropped at the mention of Felix. Your mind began racing through all the possibilities of what could be wrong. Was he injured? Did something happen? Whatever it was, you knew you couldn't waste anymore time. "Y/n?" "Sorry, I'm coming," was all you said.
Just as quick as you unlocked it, you yanked the keys out and slammed the front door shut. Your feet carried you quickly down the steps leading up to your unit and straight to your car in the parking lot. You had this sickening feeling in your gut that something was wrong. Especially by the urgency in Chan's voice. He was not the type of guy to sugarcoat anything.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
By the time you got to the JYP building, Hyunjin was upfront waiting for you. That's not a good sign. You parked your car in the guest parking lot before jumping out with your keys, forgetting about your pursue. All that mattered was how quickly you could get to Felix.
"Hyunjin-ah, what's wrong?" "I don't even know. I was just told to wait up front for you, so I could make sure your car is locked. He's in the practice room."
You tossed your car keys to Hyunjin before you took off running towards the practice room. You noticed that five of the other boys lined up the hallway outside of the room. Chan must be in there with Felix. The sight made your heart drop.
Your heavy breathing and footsteps gained the attention of the five members outside. They both looked concerned yet relieved to see you. You didn't have enough time to ask questions before making your way towards the door. All of their eyes were trained on you.
Very gently, you knocked on the door. You didn't want to cause anymore stress, regardless of what might be happening on the other side of the door.
"Changbin, I know you care, but we just need y/n," Chan shouted out from inside. "Chan, it's y/n. I am here."
Silence filled the hallway as everyone seemed to listen in. You could hear footsteps from the other side of the door. You didn't even know you were holding your breath as your mind spiraled to what could be happening on the other side.
The door opened slowly. It revealed Chan who seemed to be a bit revealed. But looking into his eyes, you knew that there was something wrong.
"Guys, listen, I know we all car about Felix, but he only wants y/n right now," Chan explained. His voice was scarily calm yet also quiet. You were always appreciative that Chan looked out for his members, his brothers, his kids. Especially always looking after Felix.
The rest of the guys nodded their heads. They stepped back to make Sur they weren't overcrowding the doorway. All of them cared for one another, so they would do anything for each other.
Chan slowly opened the door, granting you access. He smiled at you as you swapped positions. You were now inside the room where as he joined the rest of the kids out in the hallway. The door closed behind you which caused you to turn fully towards your beloved.
He was sitting on the floor of the practice room, his head in his hands. Of course, some practices got Felix frustrated. You were always there to comfort him, to help him work through any of the choreography to the best of your ability. He always managed to work through it, seeing those frustrations as motivation. This was different.
It was eerily silent in the room. The only thing you could hear was soft sniffles. Each one causing cracks in your heart.
"Lixie?" You called out. You didn't want to make things worse and startle him. You also were aware maybe that he needed space, so you didn't want to violate any of his personal space.
He picked his head up, looking straight ahead. Your eyes met in the reflection of the mirror. A trail of tears was marked on his cheeks, the light catching the wet trail. His eyes were a bit red, which you weren't sure if it was how long he'd been crying or from his hands pressed into his gorgeous face.
"Y/n."
His eyes didn't leave yours. He needed you.
Without running over, you walked to him. You knew sudden movements would make matters worse. In this room, it was just the two of you. You moved with urgency across the practice floor until you were in front of him.
Once you were in front of him, you took a seat on the floor in front of him. You were sitting criss-crossed, your hands gently reaching out to his. You offered a gentle smile. His hands slipped into yours. It was a start. "What's going on, love?" You asked gently.
Now, you weren't sure if Felix wanted to even talk about what he was dealing with. However, you knew it was better to offer than say nothing at all. Felix always knew he could vent to you whenever, but you still liked to remind him that it was safe to do so. You would wait here all day if need be, if that is what Felix needed.
"I'm not good enough," he murmured.
Your heart shattered hearing his self-doubt. There were times Felix got frustrated because he was just so passionate about performing. This is the only thing that he thought he was meant to do in this life. Sometimes you wondered if he thought back to when he got eliminated during their pre-debut days.
However, you knew how hard Felix has overcome to set that now minor setback. He was one of the most recognizable idols in k-pop, proving that to be true with his impressive vocal range and his impressive dance skills. He was born to be on stage. Yet, that didn't mean he didn't doubt himself.
"What happened?" "Lee Know was showing us new choreography he wanted to learn. It acquires a bit more acrobatics than what we usually do. I thought it would be no problem for me, but-"
You could see tears swelling in his eyes again. Some fell but he tried to quickly blink the rest. Letting go of one hand, you squeezed the other to show you had no intentions of leaving. With your now free hand, you reached forward to gently wipe the tears away that were falling onto his cheeks.
His head gently tilted into your thumb. Taking note, you let your full hand cup his cheek. He sighed at the feeling of the warmth of your palm. You smiled gently to see him responsive to you.
The last thing you would want is for Felix to feel like he is doing this on his own. He had his members, his family supporting you and he also had you. Felix always uplifted you on your worst days, helping to remind you of your self-worth. And you would always do the same. This was one of those moments where you needed to reemphasize your role as his significant other. "But I just can't get it. I can't move my body correctly which makes it feel like I'm not trying hard enough," he murmured. "Like I'm failing. You hear groups coming and going, how things can shift overnight. What if I'm the reason stays don't stay and why Stray Kids becomes just a memory and not a legacy? I don't want to disappoint you or the boys."
For a moment, you remained silent. You already were working through the words to say. While you weren't an idol yourself, you didn't want to invalidate Felix's emotions. You knew that the music industry was brutal and there were a lot of risks involved.
What you did know for sure was just how successful Stray Kids is, how successful he is. He was facing a challenge, like he had before, and he would overcome it. Felix just needed to believe in himself. "Baby boy, this is the first day of learning this choreography. It's not going to be perfect no matter how much you wish it was," you sighed. It was the truth. It was frustrating, yes, but it required practice. "I know for a fact though that the boys would never allow you to fail. Maybe you can keep practicing with Lee Know, or maybe you guys change the choreography. The guys will never let you feel like you fail because you guys are one team which means that you help each other out."
Felix nodded his head gently. He was slowly starting to accept his words but he couldn't quite ignore his personal demons yet. That is where you come in. You weren't going to leave his side until your sunshine returned.
"I don't want to disappoint you either." "Felix, love, that is impossible. You are my life, my love. I am impressed simply by your existence."
He raised an eyebrow at you, confused yet encouraging you to continue speaking. You gladly will praise him as much as he needs to hear, or how much anyone was willing to listen.
"I have never met someone as compassionate as you. Even when you are tired, you go out of your way to show your appreciation not just to your fans, to stay, but to the members, your family, and even me. You always are there to lend a helping hand because you care about everyone else sometimes before yourself. It is true you radiate sunshine because you capture everyone's attention, you can make everyone smile just by being in the same room as you."
For the first time since entering the dance studio, he smiled. His forehead leaned forward until he pressed against yours. You smiled up at him, just happy to see him feeling the slightest bit better.
"I am so lucky to have you even when I'm silly and can't regulate my emotions." "Felix, it's normal to feel frustrated. You know better than anyone that I get that way too. But that's why I'm here. I'm here to support you on your best days, your worst days, and the days in between."
You pulled back gently from him. You tilted your head up until your lips pressed against his forehead lingeringly. At the acton, he could feel his ears turn red but also his smile grow. His eyes fluttered shut, just to take in the moment.
He was the luckiest guy in the world to have you, and you felt like you were even luckier.

I Could Be Your Lifeline - Kang Taehyun

Synopsis: You and Taehyun have been childhood best friends. You grew up in the same town, went to the same college, and now worked in the same city. You two are each other's lifeline as you explore the world of being a young adult. He would do anything for you.
Pairing: non-idol! Kang Taehyun x fem reader
Genre: Angst, bad date, fluff, best friends to lovers
Word Count: 2.7k
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
I sighed as I glanced between the red dress and the black dress that was in my closet. They both were gorgeous, but which one screamed 'first date'? At least you don't have to make a decision on your own.
"Taehyun, if you were going on a first date, what color would you hope the girl wears?" You asked
Taehyun was laying on your bed, his head resting on the mountain of pillows you had at the top. His arms were crossed over his chest. He watched as you held up the two dresses, your eyes somewhat glancing towards the red dress but you were trying your best not to make it obvious. It took everything in him not to smirk, not wanting to make it known he had caught you. You were too adorable.
"I think the red one would be nice? You know, a pop of color to catch someone's attention."
You grinned with satisfaction. His heart skipped a beat at the sight. God, he loved making you happy. You hung up the black dress in your closet before heading towards your bathroom to get ready.
Once the coast was clear, Taehyun pressed his head to your pillow and let out a low groan. It was torture witnessing you get ready for someone else. He wanted to be the guy that was going to take you out, show you out to the world. He wanted to be the one you got excited about seeing, telling anyone that was willing to listen. Yet, he find himself always freezing up when it was time to confess to you.
As he heard the door open, he sat up quickly. His eyes nearly popped out of their head as you revealed yourself. You got to be kidding me.
You were wearing a maroon, square neck dress. It was a long sleeve dress that had elastic cuffs around the wrists, amplifying the fairy-like look. It was a fit and flare dress that just looked like it was made for you. Selfishly, he might have also picked out the dress because it was his favorite color on you. You just radiated when you work red.
"So, what do you think? You sure this isn't too much for a first date?" "Y/n, I mean this, you look phenomenal."
You grinned with satisfaction as you did a small twirl in the dress, letting him have a full view. If only you weren't getting ready for someone else, if only you were getting ready for him. He wanted so desperately to walk up and kiss you, to feel your lips against his. But that wasn't something that best friends did.
You turned towards the mirror in your bedroom. It was a sun mirror you bought from Urban Outfitters. It was very fitting, as Taehyun always compared you to the sun.
"I think I'm going to leave my hair natural today. I've really been loving my curls.'
God damn. You were going to be the death of him.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before your date showed up, you urged Taehyun to leave. Mainly because this was your first date with this guy, and you didn't want to give the wrong impression.
While Taehyun should be happy for you, he couldn't help but feel the sting in his heart. You had only really gotten serious abut dating in the past couple of weeks. He thought he had more time to devise a plan in how to make you his. Your friends saw it as the perfect opportunity to set up your dating profile.
Not surprisingly, you were getting messages within five minutes of your account being open. Of course everyone wanted to be with you. You were one of a kind. Taehyun just wished he was first in line.
He had found himself back in the dorms an hour after you give him the boot to the door. He took the long way home, wanting to take the train back to the dorms so he could be alone with his thoughts.
Would you even be interested in dating him? You two were best friends. While there have been numerous storylines where best friends are perfect lovers, he knew the reality that it can be hard. He cannot afford to lose you in his life. It was dangerous territory to venture into. Even him confessing his feelings was a risk.
Maybe he should talk to Soobin or Yeonjun about how he was feeling? He felt like the whole scenario was a cruel form of torture. While he loved seeing you be happy, he felt sick to his stomach knowing it wasn't him at the end of the day you were seeing so intimately. Maybe his two older friends could provide insight?
He was about to get a glass of water to clear his mind when his phone began to ring. That's freaky. I was just about to call Soobin. Did he read my mind? Taehyun peered over but froze the moment he saw your name flash on the screen. Something didn't feel right about you calling him this time.
However, he didn't hesitate. Not now. Getting water was soon forgotten as he reached over for his phone. His thumb hit the green answer button before he held up the phone to his ear.
"Taehyun?" You sounded distressed
At the sound of your voice, he was on high alert. You didn't speak in your normal energetic tone. You sounded upset. What happened? Were you ok? He needed immediate answers, but he knew allowing himself to get worked up wouldn't help the two of you at the moment.
"Angel, what's going on?" "I need you to pick me up.'
He frowned upon hearing you but was immediately on his feet. He wasn't sure what had happened, but there was no time to ask questions. Not when you need him immediately. "I'm already on my way," he promised. He grabbed his car keys and wallet before rushing to slip on his shoes. Taehyun just had to get to you.
"Are you in a safe location right now? I have your location, but I want to make sure you're okay until I get there." "Yeah, I'll be okay. Can you please hurry?" Taehyun didn't have to be told twice. With his shoes and jacket on, he rushed out to the car. He put you on speaker so he could get into the car quickly, but also could listen and speak to you if needed. He didn't even notice that it was raining. Taehyun literally sprinted out of the dorm to get to his car. He didn't even notice that it was raining. Taehyun literally sprinted out of the dorm to get to his car.
"Y/n, sweetheart, do you want me to stay on the line with you while I drive?" "Taehyun, no! It's raining. I don't want you to risk getting into a car accident. Just get here safely, please."
You were always looking out for other people before you looked after yourself. He's never met someone has kind and compassionate as you.
"I'll be there in 10 minutes."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It felt like only a minute passed by between when you called Taehyun and hung up the phone. You waited under the awning outside of the restaurant after hiding out in the bathroom. At least until you were certain your date left.
Four wheels pulled up which caused you to look up. You could recognize that car anywhere. Taehyun. The car was still running, able to see the emissions from the exhaust pipe wrap around the car signaling Taehyun had the heat running. A door opened and closed followed by quick footsteps.
Taehyun emerged from the other side of the car, a look of shock and concern on his face. He was holding a rain jacket in his hands. It was your pink rain coat, the one you left in his backseat the last time you two got caught in the rain. "You told me you were in a safe location, y/n. It's raining out. You could get sick," he frowned.
You matched his frown, sighing. "I'm sorry. I just couldn't stand being inside any longer," you confessed. Taehyun didn't want to come across as if he was scolding you. He was just concerned. All he did was kiss your forehead lingering before assisting you in putting your jacket on. "Come on, sweet girl," he spoke gently. He moved his hands to make sure the hood of the jacket covered your head. You worked on zipping it up. Once satisfied that you would be dry, he smiled. "Let's get you out of here."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Taehyun and you had a habit of going on drives when you were upset. You often blasted music from a playlist you two made. You would scream lyrics, laugh, and just forget about your problems. Tonight, you two rode in silence.
He went to every length to make sure you were comfortable. It was an awkward silence. It offered you to fill the space with whatever you needed. If you needed to play music, he was ready to sing along with you. If you needed to vent, he was ready to listen. He would drive for however long you needed him to. With the heat on, you were able to relax comfortably into the leather seat behind you. However, if you got too hot, he would cut it off.
You were his whole world.
When you told him that you didn't even get to the dinner on the date, he immediately took you to the nearest convenience store. The two of you ran inside, laughing and dodging the raindrops as they continued to fall. Taehyun loved hearing your laughter. You still had not unveiled what exactly happened, but he was just content seeing you happy again.
You picked out all of your favorite snacks - a lemon lime soda, a bag of honey butter chips, and these blue gummy sharks. He also got a salmon kimbap he knew you loved.
Instead of sitting in the convenience store to eat, Taehyun had another idea. He paid for your food, even though you fought him on it. It was a losing battle on your part anyways. Taehyun had you two return to his car where he drove you towards the top level of a parking garage in the city, where you could park and enjoy your food. He also knew that you loved looking at the skyline
"Thank you for driving out to come pick me up, Taehyun," you spoke up.
Looking over at you, Taehyun smiled gently. "It really isn't a big deal, y/n. I would do anything you asked."
"I bet you're wondering what happened," you murmured.
Of course he was curious. You've had a handful of bad dates, but none that resulted in you calling him to rescue you from the date. However, he didn't want to just ask outright out of respect for you.
"Taehyun, he was awful! First of all, he showed up to the date late. I understand because the weather isn't the best," you began retelling. "But then he had the nerve to tell me how I should have dressed, how I should have done my hair."
He could feel his anger bubbling inside of him. He's never met the guy you were supposed to go out with tonight but he prays he never comes across him. Taehyun couldn't understand how someone could be that brainless. I mean, you were the most incredible person. You have a heart of gold, and are effortlessly beautiful inside and out. You are perfection.
"I just got so frustrated and upset that I wasted my time getting ready for someone like him that I just got up and left," you explained. "I'm so sorry, angel," he sighed. "I just don't get what is wrong with me?"
His eyes widened. He turned in his seat so he was resting the side of his body against the driver's seat. Was he hearing you correctly? Did you actually think something was wrong with you? No, he needed to fix that.
"There is nothing wrong with you."
The tone of his voice took you by surprise. He was stern. His gaze locked on you which made you instantly regret asking that question. You stared at him with wide eyes. Seeing your shock, he relaxed a bit but still knew he had to help you see just how amazing you are.
"Baby girl, I mean that. I am not speaking to you as just your best friend. You are the most remarkable woman I know. Not only are you kind, generous, intellectual, and witty, but you are so gorgeous. You carry yourself with grace and elegance. You are stunning from head to toe. Any guy would be lucky to be yours. The guy who were out with tonight is going to realize tomorrow how much he lost out on."
Your heart swelled hearing Taehyun. You never knew him, or anyone for that matter, viewed in such a positive light. You figured you were average compared to other girls.
"I mean, I regret not telling you sooner how I feel," Taehyun admitted.
In that moment, both of your eyes widened as you stared at each other. You were trying to make sure you heard Taehyun correctly. On the other side, Taehyun was freaking out over what he just said.
"What?" You both said in unison. "Taehyun, tell me what?"
There was no turning back. Taehyun's feelings towards you have been growing every day. It pained him when you went out with other people, but it also brought him great joy to have you in his life. He never wanted to do anything to upset the balance, but he was about to take a leap. The way you were looking at him made him want to scream out his feelings.
"Y/n, I've had feelings for you since we met. I've wanted to be the man in your life. However, I thought we were just best friends and I didn't want to mess things up because I didn't want you to see me as just some creep, you know? I wanted to show you that I could really be the man you deserve in your life, but that led to me never confessing," you admitted.
It was as if everything you've wanted to hear finally came to light. You have gone back and forth with the idea of you and Taehyun getting together. However, you were his best friend. You never wanted to cross a line you couldn't backtrack. He was too important in your life.
Not realizing what took over you, you very carefully crossed over the middle console into his lap. He laughed and was taken back by your actions. His hands immediately fell on your waist to help you over, wanting to make sure you didn't hurt yourself in the process. "What are you doing?" "Something that I should've done a long time ago," you confessed.
Once you were settled in his lap, you placed on hand on his shoulder. The other hand cupped his cheek, gazing into his eyes. You were looking for any sign at all, whether it be verbal or his body language to stop. He stared at you with anticipation. A gentle smile was curled on his lips. You watched as his eyes glanced from yours to your lips before looking back into your eyes.
There is the green light.
You leaned in to fully press your lips against yours. He squeezed your hips at the feeling and pulled you in closer. You giggled against his lips as reality set in. You were kissing your best friend. His lips were soft yet he overtook the kiss, showing that he wanted this as equally as you did.
The sound of your lips smacking against one another and the sound of rain still falling made the perfect ambiance. You melted underneath Taehyun's touch. He always had the power to make you feel soft and warm without even trying. Now with getting to be such emotionally vulnerable with him, really letting him in, that feeling was amplified.
Yeah, you definitely were not going back to how things used to be now.
I Don't Share - Jeon Jungkook

——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
You were given the opportunity of a lifetime. What started as a way to kill time during the pandemic quickly turned into you flying to South Korea to join BTS in their rehearsals for their Permission To Dance shows. A little over a year later, you were in rehearsals again for Jungkook's solo promotions with the release of his debut album, Golden. You didn't think your life could get better than this.
Never before would you think that your dance studio closing to meet shutdown requirements would grant you the opportunity of a lifetime. Or that you would meet the guy of your dreams.
Jungkook was around your age, so it was easy for you two to get along. You often would spend late nights going over and over the dance routine for performances and the filming of upcoming music videos. His manager would often ask if he wanted a ride home, but Jungkook would always come up with an excuse.
"No, I'm ok. I want to make sure my hyungs are proud of me when they can finally see this!" Which often made the staff smile that he wanted to make his members proud.
Another one often was along the lines of - "No, thank you though. I am just stuck on this one part of the choreography and I think I'm finally getting it down. I will call security to make sure I get home." He promised every single time to use the resources at the company, but he never did.
He always opted to take Uber rides with you. At first, it was because Jungkook liked being able to talk to someone around his age. He had a solid group of friends, but you were new. Coming from the United States, he wanted to know what it was like to be a 20-something-year-old making it work.
The two of you often shared after practices drinks and meals. "You know, we have to nourish our bodies well. Jin-hyung taught me that well."
Quickly though, his hunger turned into something else. Getting to know you, getting to watch how your hips moved with ease, he began to grow hungry for your pussy. Jungkook was a very competitive guy, and he was determined to be the best at fucking you until you see the stars. He wanted to make you cum and scream until you forgot your name, until you questioned your ability to walk after.
Meals quickly turned into eating you out at your apartment. To be fair, it was his favorite meal of the day. He loved getting down on his knees for you, spreading them wide, and exposing you to him. Only or him. He often liked to blow cool air on your pussy to watch you squirm underneath his touch.
Jungkook thrived on knowing the reaction he could pull out of you. He liked knowing you whimpered and begged for him to lick your pussy, to suck on your clit as if his life depended on it. And if you begged well, he would reward you by sliding two of his fingers into your pussy.
Dance practices weren't the only reason why he would come over. If a recording session didn't go well, you offered comfort by letting him bend you and pound into your pussy. Afterwards, you would always talk about how he was feeling but you quickly learned that Jungkook preferred letting his frustrations out physically rather than verbally at first.
There were just a few more performances left for the group. Everyone knew that Jungkook would be enlisting soon, so nobody was taking it for granted. Every dance, every member of the crew, and Jungkook himself were basically putting their all into every dance practice, dress rehearsal, and performance.
You were currently sitting criss-cross on the dance practice floor, your water bottle resting in your lap. Your thumb moved your TikTok FYP up every once in a while. There was a 30 minute break, allowing some people to go grab lunch while others were taking a minute to just relax.
"So, y/n, did you know someone here in Korea before you moved?"
There was often conversation floating among the dancers. Down time and hanging outside of practice were opportunities to get to know one another, and do a little networking. With the days narrowing down on this contract, you were beginning to consider your options. Part of you wanted to go back home, to reunite with family, but you also were having the time of your life here.
Hearing your name, you locked your phone and set it on the floor. There were a few others who joined you on the floor, in their own worlds until the current conversation started. You felt all eyes on you as the question was directed to you.
"No, I actually didn't," You laughed. A year ago, you never would have had the courage to move across the world by yourself. Being here now, you knew it was the best decision. "So a good dancer, a risk taker, beautiful," one of the male dancers began to list.
You blushed at the compliment. One thing that has changed is your struggle to accept compliments. You knew he meant well, but it didn't stop you feeling as if your face had gotten incredibly hot.
"You've got to have a partner, right? Meet someone here in Korea? I mean, Korean men know how to treat you right," he winked.
You heard one of the female dancers scuff. She rolled her eyes at his words, shaking her head towards the two of you. "Don't listen to him. Stay away from Korean men," she warned before going back to eat her salad.
"You're just upset still about your breakup," he muttered. Quickly, that was followed by a loud smack and laughter from the other members. You watched the one male rub his tender arm, apologizing to the woman to his right. Satisfied, she nodded in acknowledgement before going back to her lunch.
The male looked back at you, smiling sheepishly. "Anyways, are you single?" He asked. "You've never met up with us after practice for a quick drink."
Yeah, I normally can't go out because I'm getting railed by Jungkook after practice.
"Maybe she has a boyfriend back home?"
Decided to speak to yourself, you laughed as a way to break the conversation. Eager eyes were on you, wanting to know more about their American colleague.
"That's my bad for not showing face after practice. I normally get tired and want to go home. Sometimes I'm even here practicing a bit more just to make sure I'm as good as you all. I mean, you guys are professionals."
The group smiled wide at your kind words. You weren't sure how you'd fit in as an outsider, especially if you weren't sure if you were going to be staying or not. At the start of this job, you placed a huge amount of pressure to do well especially as you knew that so many people would do anything to be in your position. You wanted the company to be satisfied that they chose the right person.
"Well, now that it's known that we want you here. You are coming out with us tomorrow night." "Yes, you have to! We'll have to show you around the best parts of Seoul." "And hopefully get you with the best guy." "Or at least go home with the best guy."
Your cheeks turned pink again, which caused all the whole group to smile. How could life get any better?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The sun had already set by the time you got done with practice. Most of the group had left for the evening whereas you were packing up your duffle bag with all your belongings. While you were very much looking forward to tomorrow night, you always loved a night-in to yourself.
You couldn't help but wonder if Jungkook would want to come over.
"You know, you really should be leaving here by yourself," a voice called out to you.
Startled, you looked over your shoulder to see Jungkook leaning against the practice room door. Speak of the devil. You placed one hand over your chest as your racing heart began to settle, very slowly that is.
"God, you fucking scared me."
He let out a laugh before coming into the room. You only could tell how he was moving by the sound of his laughter growing louder. "Sorry, doll, I couldn't help myself," he apologized. You hummed in amusement as you had your back turned towards him, trying to get the rest of your belongings together so you could leave. Because if he was ready to go, that meant that you were to.
You felt his hand ghost over your hip. Zipping up the duffle bag, you slowly stood up straighter to feel him right behind you. His lips hovered over the shell of your ear, feeling his hot breath against it. You shivered from the effect and with excitement.
"You seem to really be finding your place here," he said.
His voice was very smooth. He knew the effect he had on you, how you were basically wrapped around his finger. And he used it to his advantage. You were a bit confused as to where this was coming from.
"I mean, I overheard you making plans with the other dancers. I think that's good for you." His hand gently caressed your hip, the touch light as a feather. You were almost in a trance from it all. Just feeling his body heat radiate into your back sent a wave of warmth throughout you.
"But there is one thing I do not like." You were about to look over at him, but were cut off when his grip on you tightened. He yanked you back so you could feel his boner right up against his ass. You gasped in surprise which caused him to chuckle lightly. The laugh sending shivers done your spine. "I don't like sharing, angel."
Everything happened so suddenly. One minute, you were getting your duffle bag, the next you were being pinned against the mirrors of the dance studio. Jungkook's grip was tight enough to inform you he was in charge here, but loose enough to slip out if you felt uncomfortable. Yet, his gaze locked on you told you to stay put.
His breathing was a bit rigid, sensing emotions were coursing through his body. What was on his mind? You noticed his jaw was a bit clenched, almost as if he was contemplating what he was doing or his next move.
"Let me make it clear. You are not going home with anyone else besides me. You'll always come back to me."
Oh god, he overheard your conversation earlier. It was starting to make sense.
"I'll have to remind you if that's an issue." "Then mark me up and make me yours."
Jungkook's breathing hitched hearing you. He wasn't expecting such a response from you but it made him so damn weak. God, you were the death of him.
Not one to back down, he accepted your challenge.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Smack.
You whimpered loudly at the feeling of Jungkook's hand meeting your left asscheek. It was like an electric jolt. A bit painful, considering he has spanked you repeatedly throughout the evening, but also pleasurable because it made you feel alive. It honestly made you feel powerful.
Jungkook had you on your hands and knees. You were at the dance studio. You knew everyone had left but the thrill of someone potentially catching the two of you turned you on.
With one hand staying on your hip, Jungkook's other hand ran up your spine gently. His touch was still a stark contrast to the feeling of his thick cock sliding in and out of your soaking pussy. Each smack against your ass caused your walls to squeeze around his cock, sending the two of you into a chorus of moans.
His hips rammed into you from behind. It created a rhythmic sound of skin slapping, the two of you moaning, and how wet you were. The last sound caused your cheeks to heat up, much to Jungkook's satisfaction.
The hand on your spine gathered your hair. You were grateful you put it in a low ponytail during practice earlier. Jungkook pulled your head, causing you to hiss in response. The sweet sting of your hair being pulled made you crave more. The sudden movement also caused your eyes to become a bit glossy. Your head tilted back as you met his in the reflection of the mirror.
"Look at you," Jungkook asked. His mouth was curled into a sinister smirk. "You're crying over my cock. Is it not enough for you, hmm? Is that why you wanna go out to meet other guys?"
"No, Jungkook, fuck," he panted out. "You're all I want, all I need." "Oh yeah? Prove it. Cum on my cock. Show me that I really am the only one that can make you feel so damn good."
If it were possible, Jungkook increased his pace. You cried out in pleasure as the intensity of his brutal thrusting caused your arms to give out. You upper half of your body rested against the cool wood floor, causing your ass to move a bit up. Jungkook groaned in appreciation for the change. He couldn't help himself. Smack.
Your mind was hazy. You couldn't comprehend anything besides Jungkook's cock filling and stretching you out. Your vision was getting blurry from the tears beginning to fall as you felt that familiar tingling, warm sensation in your stomach.
In a matter of moments, your vision went white and your toes curled. You screamed out his name. His grip on your hips could be burned into your skin. You never wanted him to stop touching you. Jungkook groaned as his thrusts got harder, determined to meet you at your high. The world around you seemed to stand still while your head was in the clouds.
After a few more thrusts, Jungkook let out a loud groan. You could feel his cum filling your pussy, which sent you into a whimpering mess at the feeling. You felt so content. He also felt content seeing some of his cum spilling out of your pussy once he began to pull out.
He swore you've never looked more beautiful. All his.
Lips were being pressed against your spine. You didn't even register that your body had sprawled out onto the wooden surface until Jungkook gently moved you. Your head rested on his chest, your back on the floor. His hand ran up and down your lower back. His other hand reached up to wipe away any of your remaining tears.
You were bringing brought down to reality. You could register the sound of you two heavy breathing, the slight tremors of your body starting to subside. With your head pressed into Jungkook's chest, you could hear his once racing heart beat begin to steady itself.
"You won't forget about me, right?" "How could I ever forget about you?"
There was a pause. Jungkook was the type to usually have a response, or do something in response to what was said to him. Not this time.
You looked up at him, concerned as you knew something was bothering him. Unfortunately, you got confirmation when you were met with his own glossy eyes.
"Look, I know a lot is going to change over 18 months. I don't care if you stay here in Korea or you go back home. I don't like sharing, y/n, so just promise not to forget about me because I'll come back to you. Every single damn time." "I could never forget about you, Jeon Jungkook. I'll be waiting for you, regardless of what happens next."
For You, I'd Do Anything - Yang Jeongin

Synopsis: The holidays can be a tough time for anyone. Growing up, it was your favorite time of year. As an adult though, it was what you dreaded the most. Jeongin couldn't stand by to see his partner upset over the holidays, so he decided to take matters into his own hands, to show you that the holidays with him could be fun.
Pairing: Idol! Yang Jeongin x reader
Genre: fluff, established relationship
Word Count: 2.3k
——————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
Growing up, you used to love the winter holidays. You were the type of person that loved decorating for Christmas the day after Halloween. You looked forward to all the Christmas specials and movies that would be broadcasted on TV. Every time you were driving in your car from November 1st until December 26th, you had Christmas music playing. It was just the time of year that wrapped you up with warmth and joy.
Now, being in yours 20s, things have shifted. You no longer looked forward to decorating, always feeling the need to do it out of an obligation rather than a joy. You didn't really care for what was showing on TV, maybe watching one movie for the whole season if there was nothing else on. And don't even get started on the music. You couldn't take listening to the old songs sung by Bing Crosby or Dean Martin.
As friends move away and family spreads out, you find yourself getting lonelier each year. This year was the worst of it all. You couldn't afford a plan home to visit your family, so you had to stick it out at home. Your family wasn't in a position where they could fly out to you either, seeing as both of your parents worked and your siblings were only in college.
Part of you was hoping this year might be a bit different. You and Jeongin had gotten together in February of this year, shortly after your birthday. You were childhood friends with Seungmin who actually set you two up. Since then, you've been joined at the hip.
You were two lonely souls around Valentine’s Day. Seungmin couldn’t stand the sight of his younger brother feeling unwanted. To him, Jeongin was his partner in crime. He deserved the best the world had to offer. He was tired of you complaining about bad first dates and venting to him about your love life. Seungmin thought it would be a pretty good match. It would at least keep you quiet for a little bit while helping Jeongin out.
Jeongin was the perfect guy for you. He was a good listener and someone you felt safe around. You didn’t feel the need to put up a false persona to win him over. He never judged you either for your likes and interests, unlike your other exes. If something made you happy, he was all in support of it.
And Jeongin was in love with you. This was not a two-sided love. You were witty, intelligent, compassionate - a golden person. It loved that you got along well with his members. You were able to have deep insightful conversations with Chris and Han. You could be just as loud as Lee Know and Changbin. You appreciated the arts which made talking to Hyunjin easy. Felix and you often baked together. And then there was you and Seungmin who acted like brother and sister, being able to support one another but then be at each other’s neck the next minute. He was convinced bickering was Seungmin’s love language.
When you were with Jeongin, you knew how to make him smile and let him be silly. You were also there to comfort him if he had a bad day at the recording studio or dance practice. You offered a safe haven where he didn’t have to be the well-rounded maknae. Jeongin had a tendency to put too much pressure on himself to be perfect, to land every dance movement or not. You helped remind him that he was good enough, to push through the bad moments to keep chasing his dream. He wasn't just an idol to you. In your mind, he was like any regular 20-something-year-old who was trying their best. He was able to just be Yang Jeongin.
He wanted to give you the world. You deserved that. You radiated so much positive energy that it affected everyone around you. He owed Seungmin his life for introducing you two.
However, Jeongin noticed a shift in you. He remembers one of the first things Seungmin told, or more so warned, is that you were the type of person who had to start decorating for the holidays right after Halloween. Jeongin still didn't know why Seungmin felt the need to warn him about that fact, as if that was meant to scare him off. If anything, your enthusiasm around the holidays also got him excited for seasons changing.
It was easy to get lost in what's going on when you're following back-to-back schedules. It just felt like the holidays always crept up on him. The only thing that seemed to remind him what time of year it was is when they have a Christmas inspired stage.
Yet, when Jeongin suggested making hot chocolate and watching Christmas movies, you immediately said no. He figured maybe you were too tired from work. Jeongin settled for your answer, at least figuring you’ll watch them later in the season.
When you rejected going to the winter carnival in the city, he was a bit concerned. It was last Saturday when he asked. He figured now was a great time as any to get into the holiday season. You both had the day off from work, so he saw it as not only a way to enjoy each other's company and make new memories but also to relax from work. You preferred to stay inside though.
Jeongin even thought you could try setting up a Christmas tree in the dorms as a way to get you and the members into the holiday season. While he wasn't sure where to get a Christmas tree in South Korea, he knew how much you enjoyed spending time with the members. He always thought you were part of the family that has been created since they were training together at JYP. Yet, you still said no.
The boys were currently at dance practice. While Lee Know stood up from with Hyunjin, Changbin, and Han to work through the choreography for 'MEGAVERSE,' Jeongin was sitting on the couch with his hands holding up his chin.
He was trying his best to think of what could be troubling you, what could be on your mind. He was under the assumption that the two of you shared everything, from material items to personal secrets. To an extent, Jeongin was still trying to get to know you, sure. But he liked to believe as your boyfriend, he could pick up when things were off with you. What weren't you telling him?
Seungmin seemed to notice how distant his young friend was looking. Since it wasn't his time to dance, he made his way across the room to Jeongin. The maknae didn't flinch much once Seungmin plopped himself onto the couch, which was all an effort to snap Jeongin out of his daze. When that didn't work, Seungmin knew he had his work cut out for him. "Okay, spill. What's going on?"
Jeongin sighed before looking at his older friend. "It's y/n."
"What? What are you talking about? You're not going to break up with them, are you?"
Wow, for someone who pokes fun at y/n, Seungmin was very protective of you. It just further emphasized you and Seungmin's relationship - best friends who acted more like siblings.
To calm Seungmin down, he shook his head before looking over at him. "No, not at all. They are my everything," Jeongin sighed. "I just feel like I'm not giving them enough."
Seungmin looked at his friends to continue, confused as well. Whenever Seungmin talked to you about your relationship with Jeongin, you were on cloud nine. You could talk for hours about how wonderful of a partner Jeongin his, your favorite qualities of him. It made Seungmin pleased to see you so happy.
"They have just been acting so distant lately. Like, I feel like I have pushed them away. I don't get it." "I'm glad you said something," Seungmin sighed.
Jeongin immediately picked his head up, looking over at his friend. His eyes were wide, like a deer caught in headlights.
"What do you mean? Do you know something? Did I do something?" "Jeongin, if you did something, y/n will make it known. I mean, I would know first given that I'm the best friend and you're only the boyfriend," Seungmin teased. "But you haven't done anything wrong. I just feel like there is something wrong with y/n. Has she mentioned when’s flying home?”
It was then both of the men realized what was wrong. Usually, you were the type to have your holiday plans situated a month in advance. You also would plan a small holiday party with all your friends before everyone leaves for home. Your family and friends meant the world to you. However, this year, it was radio silent.
Jeongin then got a bright idea. He turned towards Seungmin who playfully backed up, a bit taken back from the eagerness of the maknae but also pleased that your boyfriend was ready to set up and make things right."
"So here's the plan."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Where are we going, Jeongin?" You laughed. He had blindfolded your eyes when you got in the car. He was walking backwards with Han holding open the door for him. Jeongin squeezed both of your hands reassuringly, walking backwards to guide you into a room.
"Now if I told you, it would ruin the surprise." "I hate surprises, but you're lucky you're cute," you muttered.
It took everything in Seungmin and Changbin, especially, to not let out a laugh. They couldn't give away the surprise. Not when they saw how excited Jeongin was to surprise you and make you feel better. Even before you and their beloved maknae started dating, they knew how much you meant to Seungmin. They all looked at you like a little sister. Their love for you has honestly intensified since the love between you and Jeongin grew.
"And I'm lucky because I have you," Jeongin responded.
This time Seungmin wanted to gag.
Jeongin glanced behind him to see all the boys in their places. Each of the boys gave them a thumbs up from their positions in the space, with Lee Know by the lights switch.
When he was satisfied, he slowly stepped behind you. He leaned around to kiss your cheek gently as his hands reached back to undo the knot that held the blindfold close to your eyes. You truly were one that hated surprises. If the blindfold was even the slightest bit loose, you would be trying to peek.
"Look, I know if you hate this, but I just want to see my girl smile again," Jeongin stated.
The blindfold was loosened from around your eyes, revealing that you were in the infamous red-painted JYP dance practice room. . It didn't look like the practice room.
There were Christmas lights strung around the mirrors. The lights were emphasized once Lee Know turned off the practice room's lights. A large projection screen was set up, thanks to Chan's assistance, opposite of the black couches. It was connected to a laptop with every major streaming service available. There were two extra beanbag chairs for those that preferred to sit on the floor. In the corner of the room, there was a large Christmas tree that was decorated. You could tell that was Hyunjin's assigned task. If you turned slightly too, you noticed there was a table full of baked goods that made the whole room smell like cinnamon and sugar. Definitely Felix's doing. You noticed there were 9 cups with candy canes sticking out of it. Maybe they got Changbin to do that one?
Regardless of who was assigned to each task, you knew there was only one person responsible - Jeongin. You turned towards him with tears in your eyes, but not the sad ones. The smile on your face gave away your joy.
"You did all of this for me?" "Anything for you," he affirmed.
You turned fully towards Jeongin before you wrapped you arms around him. You buried your face into his shoulder, both as a place to soak in your tears and your favorite spot to nuzzle up to him. He matched the strength of your hold, holding you close to him. He kissed the top of your hand, hand caressing your back affectionately. The rest of the members watched with fondness at the love between the two of you. Seungmin being the happiest of them all.
"You're apart of our family, y/n. I know it isn't the same as being with your family, but you can always depend on us," Jeongin whispered. "I love you so much."
You pulled your head gently back to look up at Jeongin. He smiled gently seeing your face. Keeping one arm around you, he used his free hand to wipe away your tears. "I'm in love with you too, baby," you whispered. You then looked at the guys surrounding the two of you. You could have sworn that they were crying too, but they wouldn't confess with the lights being dim. "And I love you guys too."
Shortly after, the nine of you gathered on the couches with Seungmin and Lee Know opting for the beanbag chairs. Changbin was getting hot chocolate together for the group while you cuddled up to your boyfriend. Most of them were paying attention to Elf playing on the projector. Jeongin held you close, as if he was trying to squeeze out any remaining sadness that might still be in your body.
But truth be told, you weren't sad anymore. If anything, you were over the moon that not only you have the best partner anyone could ask for, but that he opened his world to you.
To be with your family for Christmas was all you asked for, and it was the best present you could have received.
Eye Contact - Lee Minho

"Oh my god, y/n. You look hot as fuck!" Your best friend called out once you had emerged from your bedroom.
It seems like every in your friend group had a stressful week at work. Specifically for you, your job just people quit after finding better opportunities which meant your workload was piling up. If you didn't need to make rent, you would have bounced out of there with the rest of your former co-workers.
It was your best friend that took it upon herself to declare Friday was a (mandatory) girls night out in the group chat. You offered to host a pregame for the group, so you guys could spend less money out on the bars. Though, you were hopeful to score lucky tonight and have a guy pay for a ew drinks.
You decided on wearing a tight white top that had a cutout around your cleavage, showing off your breasts. You wore a pair of ripped baggy jeans but had a brown belt secured around the belt loops to accentuate your ass. You had a pair of ankle boots on as well, helping give you some height and confidence.
"What? You said it was girls' night out, so I decided to show off my girls," you said teasingly, motioning towards your breasts. "Yeah, if I had tits like yours, I would do the same thing," your one friend jumped in.
"Ok, ok. Enough of gawking over y/n's breasts. I say we all take a shot then head out now that y/n is ready."
I rolled my eyes playfully at her dramatics but nodded my head. "Let's do it!" Your best friend took out 5 shot glasses, one for each person in attendance. She let her eyes gaze over your liquor selection before settling on tequila. Most of the group groaned whereas you grinned excitedly. Everyone put on their best brave face as y/bff/n poured the shots for everyone.
You raised yours mid-air, enough to easily take the shot and help the rest of the group just down it. "Here's to the girls," you announced.
"To the girls!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You stood on the sidewalk, making sure everyone got out of the Uber safely. Also to ensure that nobody just stood around as there was oncoming traffic. You always tended to take on the mother role when you were out with your friends. Maybe it was because you had the highest tolerance or it was what your moral compass guided you to do.
Once you made sure everyone was on the sidewalk, your best friend led everyone inside the bar. The bouncer just nodded his head at you guys, a smirk on his lips. You watched as his eyes lingered on your best friend's ass. Ugh! Men are so gross. You shot daggers in the direction of the bouncer who then eased up. You smirked victoriously.
'Energy' by Beyonce was playing from the loudspeakers in the bar. The beat from the bass radiated throughout your body from the sound bouncing off the walls.
"Y'all, we need to dance!" "You guys go ahead, I need another drink," you announced.
Your best friend nodded as she guided the other three girls to the dance floor. It was nice to be able to switch parental responsibility with your best friend. You turned towards the counter, knowing you needed another drink before you got out there and danced.
You maneuvered your way through the crowd to get right up to the bar. Your shoulder brushed the person beside you as you squeezed through, wanting to try to get the bartender's attention so you could get your drink and reunite with your friends.
"You know you could say excuse me," a voice spoke from beside me.
Who the fuck thinks they can speak to me like that? Your gaze shifted to look beside you. It was the person who you bumped shoulder's with. You rolled your eyes before turning your body slightly, intentionally avoiding getting close to them whatsoever.
As you got a good look at the stranger, you couldn't help but notice his sharp features. He had jet-black hair with bands that fell short of his eyes, framing his forehead quite nicely. It lets you get a good view of his deep brown eyes. They could practically pierce right through you with the intensity of his gaze. His lips were curved into a smirk as he looked over at you.
"And you could not be a dick about it? It was an honest mistake."
He chuckled at my response. "I'm just saying, if you're looking for a guy to buy you a drink tonight, you could have at least been nicer about it." He leaned in a bit closer to me, an elbow resting on the countertop. "The name is Lee Know. Maybe you could buy me a drink instead as a apology?"
You were stunned. You've never been spoken to in such a manner. Normally you were the one to be sassy, so it felt odd to be on the receiving end.
Before you could even come up with a rebuttal, the bartender slide towards your end of the counter.
"What can I get for you two?" "Rum and Coke for me, and for you, princess?"
You wanted to grit your teeth at the pet name. Who did this guy think he is? If maybe he was a bit more charming upon first meeting, you would be more inclined to accept a drink from him. However, two can play this game.
You turned over the counter, close to the bartender and giving a good view of your cleavage. You put on the sweetest smile you could muster.
"Can I please get a bay breeze? And 5 shots of tequila for me and my girls?"
From behind you, you heard light gagging. What was wrong? Was he annoyed you were actually going to take him up on his offer to buy you drinks? The bartender smiled back at you before getting to work on your order. When you looked back towards Minho, you saw him stealing glasses at your ass as you were still leaned over slightly. Good. He can look all he wants but he isn't getting close enough to touch. "If I didn't know better, I would think you're playing hard to get, sweetheart. I'm flattered."
I groaned mentally. I was normally the type to be more sassy and flirty. I definitely didn't like being on the receiving hand because it was like he was calling the shots. It should be the other way around.
"So, tell me. You came here with your girls hence why you ordered five shots unless, but what are the chances I can ruin those plans and get you alone? You know, to get to know you better. I don't even know your name which is just rude considering that you put your order on my tab."
"Y/n." "Y/n? Very pretty," he commented. He slowly leaned in to you, so his lips were near your ear. You wanted to shutter away but you could feel your heart race with how close he was to you. He was a very attractive guy. You just hated the little mind games he was trying to play with you right now.
His breath hit your ear, causing a shiver to run down your spin. Your body was portraying you, revealing your true ambitions. You wouldn't mind getting alone with Minho, but you were here with your girls. You weren't the type to just abandon girls' night. His voice was calm. Almost to calm. "I'll make sure to remember that when I'm moaning out your name later tonight. I'm very vocal, you know. But you can find that out for yourself later.""
Before you could even respond, the bartender placed both of your cocktails in front of you two. You were stunned. You stood there, jaw slightly dropped and eyes widened. This has never happened to you. You were normally so quick on your feet, but this guy managed to make the impossible possible.
Minho chuckled at your expressing before pressing a quick kiss on your cheek. He reached for your drink. The bartender was about to place the five shots in front of you.
"I'm only paying for one of the shots. The others are on her tab."
You're fucking kidding me.
Minho looked at you as he took a sip out of his cocktail. "What? I only know your name, not your friends. For all I know, they could be made up. Guess you'll have to introduce me next time."
He slipped into the crowd, immediately getting lost in the crowd. What just happened? You turned towards the bartender who was just looking at you awkwardly. "Open or close?" He asked.
"Close," you grumbled. There was no way in hell you were going to spend any more of your own money tonight. You unlocked your purse to search for your debt card. You soon handed it over to the bartender who went to run the card and get your receipt. "Fuck," you groaned underneath your breath.
You unlocked your phone before quickly typing in the group chat that you bought shots for everyone. No use in letting them go to waste. You could at least also use a laugh once you retell your odd encounter with Minho.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"And he just left?" "Yes! He paid for MY shot and MY drink." "I mean, you could say that he has eyes for you and you only. Kind of sweet if you ask me," your one friend tried rationalizing.
You turned towards her, glaring. Her immediate response was to put her hands up in defense. Your best friend then joined in the conversation to help ease the tension. "Ok, ok, calm down, tiger. Forget about him," he said. "You're with your girls! Let's finish our drinks then go dance because I'm not about to commit a party foul."
Everyone nodded in agreement, including you. Dancing would help take your mind off of Minho and his antics. You always felt like you were in your element whenever you got to dancing, especially after a drink or two.
You took the last sip of your drink before your friend grabbed your hand. You laughed as she began guiding you toward the dance floor. "Paint The Town Red" by Doja Cat began playing, sending everyone into a frenzy to get to the dance floor. You guys formed a mini circle, beginning to sing along to the song. You felt your body relax more as you moved your hips gently to the beat.
Mm, she the devil She a bad lil' bitch, she a rebel (walk on by) She put her foot to the pedal I'll take a whole for me to settle (walk on by)
"What did you say this guy looked like?" A voice shouted in my ear.
It was like in that moment the record screeched to a stop in your mind. You slowed down my movement before looking over at my best friend. I was going to regret telling her. "He has black hair, brown eyes, and a stupid smirk on his face. Why?"
"Well, believe it or not, he is totally checking you out right now."
There's no way. She motioned up over my shoulder, where the balcony over looked the dance floor. I glanced over my shoulder, seeing where she was referring to. And sure enough, there he was. He was leaning against the railing, his drink held in one hand loosely. His eyes were trained on me. I felt like he could bur my skin with the intense gaze.
Maybe it was alcohol settling into my system, but I was yearning for his gaze. He was too confident for my liking, but maybe that was because he knew how attractive he was? Maybe he was used to women throwing themselves at him?
"Y/n, you're biting your lip," my friend teased. "You sure you're not into him? If not, I'm gonna try my way with him."
My head wiped around towards my friend. What? "Don't even dare."
The girls all smirked at me. My one friend looked at me shocked due to my quick reaction but soon smirked with the rest of the group. My eyes widened at what I realized I did. I was caught red-handed.
"You bragging to your friends about me?" A voice spoke to me.
No way. I stood up straighter, feeling the pressure of someone's body behind me. I looked over my shoulder to see Lee Minho standing right behind me. It took everything in me not to crumble. I still had to be strong. But the way he was looking down at me, that smirk plastered on his lips.
"Maybe? What is it to you?" I asked him.
He chuckled lightly. His one hand resting on my hip, pulling me in closer. His lips are by my ear like at the bar top. "Because I was bragging to my friends about meeting you. You don't want me to embarrass myself when I told them I could get with the hottest girl in this club tonight, right?"
I turned around slightly. I took a step closer so our hips brushed against one another this time. My arms moved to wrap around his neck. One hand ran through his hair, the other resting on his shoulder lightly. "No, that wouldn't be very nice of me, would it?"
He shook his head now. I tilted my head up towards his, lips close to his. "But who said I liked to play nice?"
"Who said I wanted a good girl?" God, I could feel myself getting wet.
His hand moved from my hip back towards my ass. His hand cupped it, giving it a playful squeeze. His other hand rested at my side, keeping me close to him. There wasn't a moment he wasn't looking at me. My skin felt hot as I was becoming aware this was a game I was easily losing. I was the one who typically called my shots, telling the guy what I wanted and how I wanted. But here was Lee Minho, taking full control of my thoughts. It was hot.
Noticing my change in demeanor from earlier in the evening, he couldn't help but laugh. "Aw, darling, what's wrong? You getting shy on me?"
"I'm just not used to someone beating me at my own game." "I'm full of a lot of surprises. I just didn't realize making eye contact with you would cause you to crumble so easily." "Well, let's see what makes you fall to your knees."
Keeping your one hand loosely on the back of his neck, you began playing with the soft strands of the back of his hair. Slowly, you began to press kisses to across his jawline towards the corner of his mouth. Each kiss was slow, lingering. You could have sworn you heard him practically purred at your touch. Your body was lightly pressing against his, enough to be teasing him.
Your free hand slowly moved from his shoulder, down his chest. You decided to apply slightly more pressure with your hand over his clothes. You wanted to get a good feel after all, leave him craving more of your touch. To your surprise, you could feel the outline of Minho’s abs through his shirt. Your fingers traced up and down gently. Your lips hovering over his. “So you really think you’re the perfect guy, huh?” You asked teasingly.
Minho smiled for a moment, a gentle smile at that. His breathing was a tiny bit shaky at the feeling of you touching him. He normally wasn’t the type to let people touch him, but he was curious to know where your mind was at. “Just want to be seen as perfect in your eyes, princess,” he whispered.
You hummed lightly under your breath, processing what he had said. God, you’ve never been with someone who makes you so weak so easily. But feeling how hard he had gotten against your leg from the sensual touching and flirting, you’d say you had the same effect on him. Neither of you just wanted to admit it quite yet. You had to try to get the upper hand here. You wanted him to the be one to show more interest, to chase after you. The hand on his chest slowly moved down towards his crotch.
Suddenly, you felt a hand grasp around your wrist. You looked down to see Minho holding it as you looked up. Your cheeks instantly turned red. Fuck. I just fucked this up by being too forward.
You tried rushing out apologizes, trying to pull your hand back to undo any damage. Yet, Minho kept your hand still. He chuckled at your frantic state before leaning in again to kiss the corner of your mouth. He then dropped your wrist so he could hold both of your hips.
“Now, now, darling. Do you want everyone in here to know you want to be my dirty girl? I don’t like to share.”
Your knees nearly buckled at his words. His voice was an octave lower than what he had been speaking in all evening. There was this look in his eye that pained him from stopping you, but this was his game. He made the rules. You weren’t sure if it was the buzz from the alcohol or Minho himself making your body feel warm and fuzzy, making your head spin. You were growing addicted to the feeling.
“I also like to be taken out on a date before bringing someone home. Call me old fashioned,” he shrugged.
“Are you free tomorrow night?”
“That eager to get me all to yourself?”
“Yes.” There was no denying it now. You were wrapped around Minho’s finger. You lost, but maybe you won something greater if it means going out with Lee Minho.
“It’s a date, doll.” He took out his phone, unlocking it and giving it to you. Without any thought, you pulled your contact number into his phone. What am I doing? This is so unlike me. But Lee Minho is unlike anyone you’ve met before.
Once done, you saved your contact information before handing his phone back over to him. He had a smirk curled onto his lips watching you. His heart was racing just thinking about spending one-on-one time with you. You weren’t like other girls. You didn’t beg for his attention the way others have. You held your ground until you decided to let him in, not trying to force your way into his world. He was intrigued by you. Satisified, he slipped his phone back into his pocket.
“Come on, Minho,” someone called out from behind him. You saw a hand on his shoulder which immediately caused you to peak up. Stood behind Minho was a guy with an Australian accent. He had maroon-colored haired and dark brown eyes, similar to Minho's. This gaze was a bit friendlier you would say. Minho's tends to be intense but you're quickly learning that he does that on purpose.
You were a bit startled at the interruption. The stranger offered an apologetic smile as he squeezed Minho’s shoulder. “Uber is here. We gotta go.”
“Don’t miss me too much,” he whispered. He slowly moved his lips back closer to yours. They were brushing against yours now, causing your breathing to hitch at the feeling. You weren’t expecting him to make such a sudden move.
And just like that, the guy behind Minho lead him towards the front with a group of five other guys trailing behind him. You stood there, shocked. Minho looked back before he was led out, sending a wink in your direction. Uh oh, I'm in deep. "So, when's the first date?" your best friend asked, teasingly.
Little did she know her joke no longer was just poking fun. You looked over at her, smiling from ear to ear. "Tomorrow night."

It was 8:44pm Seungcheol sighed as he watched his members Weverse posts. It's been killing him that he hasn't been able to join the group, as he was still recovering from ACL surgery a few months ago. He was starting to regain his strength which was making him feel more like himself. The problem was that the company wasn't fully confident he was ready to give it his all, so they were proceeding on the side of caution.
The boys had just wrapped up their dome concerts in Japan. Truly, those concerts were some of Cheol's favorites. He loved them not just for the carats that always showed up in massive numbers for them. Those concerts were more a testament to how far they've come as a group. He was proud of not only himself but his 12 members, his brothers, who have overcome doubt from the industry. They truly were the biggest name in K-pop at the moment.
That's why it pained him not to be there with him, not being a part of the schedules and activities. He was able to attend some events in person, like Inkigayo or Music Bank. He was able to attend backstage, but his true place was right on that stage beside everyone.
He pushed himself hard through his recovery, hoping to bounce back sooner rather than later. His doctors urged him to take it easy and to consider his long-term health rather than getting immediate results.
Truly, the toughest part of this whole recovery period was not having you beside him. You were attending graduate school in the United States, working towards your masters degree in education. He thought that maybe if he got healthier and stronger sooner, not only could he rejoin his group but he could actually come out to visit you in the States.
You were his best friend. You met at the same bar in Seoul when you were visiting during your study abroad trip. He was out with friends, celebrating the end of a hectic schedule. You were with friends from the program, eager to experience what nightlife was like in Korea after seeing one too many TikToks. Seungcheol never knew that someone could mean that much to him in such a short amount of time.
You were only going to be in Seoul from January until early May. He made it his mission to see you as much as possible. You two used to spend every day together, at least until comeback season came around for FML. Leading up to the anticipated album release, you would wait for him, excited, with a bottle of water to keep him hydrated. His favorite memory was when you got to watch him during Caratland, when he got to have the time of his life with his fans and his members. The reason why he kept grinning as hard as he did was because he knew you were waiting for him backstage.
Unfortunately, time seemed to slip away too quickly for Seungcheol's liking. During your last week in Seoul, he was asked to be at every meeting, every promotion, and everywhere but with you. He was lucky he got to see you the night before your flight, but it still tore him up inside that he couldn't even take you to the airport because he had to be at a dress rehearsal.
In that short amount of time, Seungcheol fell hard for you. You intrigued him in ways he never thought someone could. You brought a level of normalcy into his life that he didn't know he was missing. You were there to help him calm down after a tough dance practice. You often would cook dishes from your hometown, to give him an insight into where you come from. He wanted to know more about your world.
Why did he wait so long to confess to you? Now, seeing as you are more than 6,600 miles away from him, he regretted it every day. Sure, he could easily tell you over the phone or slide in your DMs, but you deserved better than that in his eyes.
Before his injury, he had hoped to come visit you right before the school year started. He got to experience the United States last summer with his members when they were on the Be The Sun tour. This time though, he wanted to experience what America was like with you. He wanted to do all the cliche romantic things like drive-ins, going to diners, and baseball games. He wanted to create memories with you, to be with you. He wanted you to be his.
The two of you still maintained contact. You would have FaceTime calls when you got the chance, would send postcards and little gifts to one another, and would cheer each other one from afar. Whether it was you waking up at 4:30am to catch a live concert or if he was reading one of your research papers - you were a united force.
He was hoping he would have been able to called you tonight, but you had told him that you had gotten busy with final assignments. While he hasn't been in school for a while, he knows how important school is for you. He didn't want to come across as overbearing, so he just waited patiently. He would watch your stories on Instagram and Snapchat, seeing you at a coffee shop or out with friends. He wanted so badly to be there with you.
He was scrolling through social media. It brought a smile to his face to see you had gone home for Thanksgiving, a holiday he was able to recognize easily as it was similar to Chuseok. There was a photo of you in a white turtle neck. Your hair was down in natural curls with light makeup on. He could see the mole that is planted on the right side of your face, close to your jawline. You were breathtaking. You were sitting beside your mom, someone who almost was an exact copy of you. There is no denying you two are related.
He knew family was important to you, so getting to spend time with your parents meant the world to you. He wondered if he was of the same importance to you, or if he could eventually get to that spot.
He looked through the other photos you posted. Some were with friends who still lived in your hometown. He tried his best to remember their names without looking at their Instagram handles. He remembers you mentioned them quite a few times. You were an only child, so you had a tendency to consider your friends part of your family too. He saw other photos of your hometown, wondering if he would ever get the opportunity to visit it up close.
What he took away the most from your post was how happy you looked. In all the photos, you were smiling wide to the point your eyes were hidden. Seungcheol remembers the few times you guys took photos together. You hated the way you looked, but he was obsessed with you. He never met someone who just naturally glowed. You were his own little disco ball, full of energy and wonder. He couldn't help but claim responsibility for making you that happy in those moments.
Seungcheol often wondered if you were happy back home. When he wasn't able to be there physically, he often wondered if you were happy. At least when you were here in Seoul, living in the same city, he could better fix whatever may be troubling you. He hated feeling helpless when you were upset. Especially now, it was more difficult than ever for him to just jump on a plane to you.
A knock at the door interrupted his deep thought. He raised an eyebrow, trying to go through who it could possibly be. All the boys were just now flying back from Tokyo. Could it be someone from the company? Why didn't they just call?
Thankfully, Seungcheol had reached the point of his recovery where he wasn't dependent on crutches. He could move freely. It might've been slow movements at times, but it was still moving at his own regard without the dependency of other people.
He made his way over carefully, not wanting to accidentally trip or bump into something. He was not about to jeopardize a setback when he was so close to getting back to where he was a few months ago.
Once he got to the door, he twisted the silver lock and undid the bolt. Making sure he had enough room, he stepped back to allow the door to swing open without it hitting his knee. He was just a more cautious guy until he got the green light to get back on stage. Seungcheol had his gaze to the door, watching it open so if he had to move, he could do so without straining himself.
"Are you crazy?" A voice shouted at him.
His eyes widened at the abrupt voice before looking up. There was no way.
There you stood. You had a pink backpack on your shoulders. Your hair was pulled into a loose ponytail held back by a silk white scrunchie. You had on a red hoodie with black leggings, and tennis shoes hugging your feet. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" "Would you like to tell me why Jeonghan called me saying you were overworking yourself? Do I need to remind you that you just had knee surgery about two months ago?"
You slipped the straps of your backpack off your shoulders. Seungcheol watched as you stepped towards his apartment, setting your backpack down by the threshold of the door. Your arms soon wrapped around Seungcheol, gently hugging him. His arms wrapped around you slowly, being in a bit of a shock of you actually being here in front of him.
"You have to take care of yourself, Cheol. Especially when I'm not here to help you," you whispered. You had tucked your head into his neck. He was able to get a smell of your shampoo, instantly settling his racing heart. God, he missed your scent. He squeezed you gently, almost as if he needed confirmation that this was reality and not some false, cruel illusion.
"I didn't mean to scare you, sweetheart. There was no need for you to fly all the way out here. What about your family? Your final assignments?" "You are a part of my life, Cheol. I had to be here. And my assignments can wait. Now, come on, old man. Let's get you back to the couch."
Coming from the guys, if they teased about his age, he would have been annoyed. Coming from you though was a sense of endearment.
Seungcheol followed your lead back to his couch. He got himself situated where he could rest with his leg up on the couch, alleviating some of the discomfort he felt from walking. He had his moments of weakness, but he wasn't sure if it was weakness from still recovering or from being in front of you for the first time in over 6 months.
Once he was situated on the couch, he saw you sitting on the opposite side of the couch. Your eyes were on him though. It was a sight that brought a smile to his face, a genuine smile for the first time probably since the surgery.
"So are you really just here because Jeonghan called?" "Well yes and no. Yes because I wanted to make sure you were ok. I know we FaceTime and you keep me updated as much as possible, but I just had to see for myself that you were ok."
He took note of the light blush on her cheeks. So she has been thinking of me? She's been worried about me? Cute. His ego was rising just at the sheer idea of you being into him, even in the slightest.
"No because I was planing to come visit you for the holidays. I get a month off of my studies, and realized that if I was spending Thanksgiving with my family, I want to spend it with you."
Well damn. He never would have predicted this.
"So you like me or something?" Seungcheol teased you.
This time, your cheeks turned a deeper red. It was then his eyes widened again. "Oh," he said silently. There was no need to further interrogate you on the matter.
Seungcheol eaned forward to gently grasp your wrist. You looked at him, an eyebrow raised. He gently tugged you towards him. You looked hesitant as if you were going to be hurting him. He offered you a reassuring smile. You began guiding herself closer to him until he situated you in between his left side and the back of the couch. He wrapped an arm around your waist, keeping you close to him.
"Something tells me Jeonghan just didn't call because of my recovery," Cheol chuckled lightly under his breath.
Man, was Seungcheol lucky to have a best friend like Jeonghan. He owed him. Big time. You looked up at Seungcheol, a gentle smile on your lips but your eyebrow raised. Do she even know how cute she is?
"Since you left, y/n, I've been miserable. The few months you were here were just magical. It was like I was getting a chance to star in my own romance movie. Life hasn't been the same without you here." "And it doesn't help that we haven't really been able to visit each other, right?"
His smile grew slightly. He lowered his head so his face was hovering just above yours. If only he had gotten the courage to do this a few months ago then the last couple of months wouldn't have been full of torment.
"Because I didn't tell you how I felt about you before you left. Y/n, I really like you. I wanted to tell you so badly, but I held back. I need you in my life not just as a friend."
Hearing him, you could have thought you weren't actually in his apartment or in Seoul, for that matter. You were convinced you were asleep in your own apartment, having the best dream but about to wake up to a cruel reality. You moved your left arm over his torso, left hand extended to cup his face. Touching his skin, feeling the light stubble underneath your fingertips confirmed that this was reality.
"Jeonghan called because you liked me? And that you've been struggling since I've been gone?" You whispered. "Seems like Jeonghan took it upon himself to play cupid," Seungcheol laughed lightly, biting his lip though to try not to speak too loudly.
It was as if he spoke too loudly, he himself would wake up. But much like you had to, he needed a confirmation that this wasn't just a dream.
He guided his lips down towards yours but hovered over them. He was afraid of moving too quickly. It was a common thee in his life at the present moment. "Say the word, y/n, and I'll make both of our dreams come true."
All you could bring yourself to do was nod. However, Seungcheol needed more. He needed to know that you fully wanted this to happen as much as you did. The words were just trapped in your throat because you couldn't believe that you had flown all the way to Korea for the man of your dreams for him not just to be in your dreams. He was real. He was laying beside you, staring and waiting for your own greenlight.
"Yes, Cheol. Please. It's all I've been waiting for."
There it is. The green light. "Me too, princess," he whispered. He soon leaned I all the way, allowing his lips to press against yours without hesitation or worry. It was a kiss that sealed our destiny, your fate to be together without further interruptions or obstacles.
You were all his, and he was all yours. Officially.
