Each of the CX troopers from TBB finale mirrors a member of the Bad Batch.

The one on the far left is clearly the muscle, mirroring Wrecker. The design of the helmet looks similar, as well--the same can be said for the other CX troopers, especially in the "eyes".

The one holding the spear seemed most likely to have been the lead, and his build and helmet "eyes" look the most like Hunter. He was also the one to catch Omega.

The one with the blades looks the most like Crosshair--mostly in how lanky he looks.

CX-2... well, we all know who that is.

The last one--the one with the visor--appeared after the others, just like how Echo was the last to join the Batch. This was also the only CX trooper to have a visor, rather than those "eyes", and the shape of it looks like Echo's helmet. This also reminded me of Echo's macrobinoculars from "Rookies".

I realized after the fact that I may have been subconsciously influenced by the current most recent image in one of my folders:

Clones as Burger King customers I had

I worked at Burger King in High School.

Hunter: guy who was just walking by, found 2 bucks in the parking lot and decided to spend them on a hamburger

Echo: guy who orders just a bun with a slice of cheese or a burger with no bread

Tech: guy who corrects the child in front of him on the lore of the tv show that the kids meal toys are themed around

Wrecker: guy who orders 1 whopper with 12 beef patties

Crosshair: guy who refuses to take a lid on his coffee, saying "if i get third degree burns i get third degree burns"

Omega: child who tries to steal the ketchup and mayo

Emerie: lady who wants to speak to the manager

Fives: guy who trips over a toddler and drops his entire tray onto the floor

Rex: guy who doesn't know how many chicken nuggets he wants and what sauce so the cashier asks him "20 with chili?" and he just sighs and says "yeah what does it matter anyway?"

Fox: the asshole who throws his cigarettes into his coca cola and puts it with the used trays (the smell is horrendous, be glad if you never experienced it)

Tup: guy who's told the ice cream machine is broken and responds with a very sad "so is my heart"

Hardcase: guy who gets stuck in the tube slide outside and has to be removed by the fire department

Dogma: the one who leaves very long negative reviews

Mayday: guy from that one meme who overshares at the drive-in

Kix: guy who asks if the beef patties were made from happy cows

Jesse: guy who can't remember what the burgers are called and eventually just mutters "I fucking hate English" under his breath

We bought the new Hallmark Bad Batch mini ornaments. Hunter and Wrecker's helmets were already made, but Echo and Tech's are brand new for this year.

Here is a size comparison. They really are mini, but they look very accurate to the series.

I sort of have a headcanon Tech’s interest in sounds, recording, and language started when he was pretty young, and that it started because he had some trouble communicating and being understood. Wanting to connect ended up naturally leading into curiosity about how everything else tried to communicate.
