OKAY SO THE BAD BATCH IS SET IN 19 BBY AND JANGO DIED 3 YEARS EARLIER IN 22 BBY. IN ATTACK OF THE CLONES A KAMINOAN CLAIMED THAT A GROUP OF PRETEEN CADETS WAS PRODUCED ABOUT 5 YEARS BEFORE OBIWAN ARRIVED SO BASICALLY...

Am I supposed to believe that Jango didn’t know about The Bad Batch or Omega? As cadets? Babies? Successful mutations of his DNA that could result in better soldiers? The only female clone of him?

He definitely knew and that makes things sadder in my brain🥲

So, Crosshair’s CT number is CT-9904. I guess it means that the other members of the Bad Batch’s CT numbers start with 99. If they were born with those specific CT numbers, they didn’t name themselves after 99, the defective maintenance clone. The Kaminoans would never have made their CT numbers based on one defective clone so they’re clone force 99 by chance, not to honor 99 and his sacrifice... :(

WAIT I JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING—

What if 99 was their fifth batch mate?😭

He could have been CT-9900, which is 99 for short. He probably never interacted with other clones that would have given him a nickname, so it was probably just his condensed CT number.

If the Kaminoans were messing around with Jango’s genes to create mutated clones with enhanced abilities, then not all of them were gonna be successful, right? Maybe 99’s extremely fast aging was a result of the mutation, and then he was deemed useless by the Kaminoans and put on maintenance duty.

Clones were always made in batches of 5. The rest of his batch were capable soldiers so they trained and graduated without him...leaving him alone...

Remembered this frame from the official The Bad Batch trailer and I have some thoughts

The Bad Batch is set to have 16 episodes for this season. The 8th episode is released this coming Friday. The trailer’s contents seem to be only from the first 8 episodes or so because we’ve already seen most of the footage.

The footage we haven’t seen to my best knowledge:

Crosshair making a big villain entrance with his new squad and plenty of clone backup

Crosshair and his new squad fighting against TBB (trooper with flamethrower; TBB readying their blasters; Omega shooting a clone with her bow; etc.)

Crosshair getting blown away by the thruster of a ship

Hunter with a bandaged torso

Some shots of (Onderon? Pantora?) where Tech drives an AT-TE (?)

If my theory is correct, we’ll see these events on Friday. Another trailer will probably come out for the second half of the season soon.

But, my concern is about Hunter’s bandaged torso. A run-in with Crosshair and Hunter gets hurt in probably the same episode? I bet Crosshair is gonna shoot him😭

Is it just me, or does Hunter look shirtless?😳

Maybe sick clones just look like that…

If Rex could recover, then hopefully we’ll get to see Echo recover as well 🤡

I realized that up until now every other member of the Domino Squad died in shiny armor. So what armor is Echo wearing in 3x14?? Shiny fucking stormtrooper armor😭

Between the Domino Squad shiny armor curse, the general lack of plot armor, and the fact that Echo is going inside the vault to help Omega escape…there’s no way he survives… the last domino will fall…

Me after realizing that every member of the domino squad has died in shiny armor so far…and echo is wearing that stupid stormtrooper armor to the vault of all fucking places on Tantiss

Is this not what the Techno Union did?? They used his mind for the knowledge of the Republic procedures he possessed. He has already been turned against those he cares about the most…

If Hemlock and the Empire ever got a hold of Echo for the CX program, the Batch and the Rebellion would be fucked.

The last two episodes just proves how stunningly effective Echo is at stealth and infiltration. Imagine what the Empire would have him do with his ARC skills and his ability to scomp in and retrieve data and sabotage.

I'm rewatching episode five and there's just something about the way it's Echo that gets to reassure Omega she did the right thing by escaping Tantiss and what mattered was that she got out of there. It's like he knows she feels guilty about leaving the others behind and he knows she wants to do more, because he does too. It's a subtle nod to what he went through but also another little moment showing their dynamic and I love that.

Echo: It's called cauliflower, not ghost broccoli.
