You wake up to the smell of fresh pancakes from the kitchen. Blinking slowly, you shift on the bed, staring at the ceiling for a few seconds before flipping to your side.

The empty spot next to you concluded that your boyfriend had already woken up, which also explained the magical smell of food. Sighing, you bury your head in the mattress, breathing in the leftover scent of Jaemin's cologne before pushing yourself up to a sitting position.

The mirror in front of you didn't complement you in the slightest, so you push yourself of the bed, waddling to the bathroom slowly while rubbing your eyes.

After brushing your teeth, washing your face and combing the bird's nest that you called hair, you finally look decent again.

Throwing on you some Grey joggers and one of Jaemin's white t-shirts, you raise up your hair into a messy bun before finally exiting the room.

Walking in to the sun lit kitchen, your not surprised at all to see Jaemin with his back towards you, wearing an identical shirt to the one your wearing, with navy joggers to match. He's humming an unknown tune, his lean figure swaying to the beat, and judging by the sizzling sound from behind him, you're pretty sure he's flipping pancakes.

You smile unconsciously at the sight of him, staring at him for another second before approaching him quietly, your socked feet not making a sound against the marble floor. Leaning forward, you press your lips to his cheek, giggling when he gasps at the sudden movement.

He recovers from the surprise after a second, turning his head to smile at you momentarily before focusing once again on the task in front of him.

"Finally", he says, flipping another circle of dough professionally, "I almost woke you up myself".

You pout at that, crossing your arms over your chest with defiance. "Hey, don't blame me, I'm still jet lagged from the flight."

Jaemin laughs at your whiny voice, shooting you a bright smile that may or may have not melted you completely, and for a second you get lost in the way his pink lips stretch into a grin and the way his chestnut hair gleams in the sunlight streaming through the window.

"Cute", he mutters, mostly to himself, and you feel your cheeks redden quickly at the compliment. Even after a year and half together, Jaemin could still make you so easily flustered, despite being the most flirtatious person on the planet.

It's silent after that, both of you focusing on your own things: Jaemin on the pancakes, and you on the way your boyfriend's bicep clenches every time he flips one.

The quietness doesn't faze you, if anything, it calms you. After not seeing each other for nearly two months, you and Jaemin had learned to bask in each other without saying a word, simply enjoying each other's presence, and sometimes, it was even better than talking.

When you sit down to eat, Jaemin pulls you into his lap without saying a word, even though it's just the two of you and the table is literally empty.

You eat like that, talking about everything and nothing, feeding each other, (mostly Jaemin feeding you), and sharing lazy kisses, and it's simple, yet so perfect.

"I love you", you whisper when you finish eating, burying your head in Jaemin's chest so he won't see your flushed cheeks.

Jaemin coos at you immediately, pulling you back gently so he can leave sweet kisses all over you face, his messy bangs tickling your face, causing you to shriek with laughter as you helplessly try to push him away.

"Stoppp", you beg after a while, tears of laughter forming in your eyes, and Jaemin laughs, pulling back to leave a final peck to your lips, cupping your face in his warm hands.

"I love you too, angel", he whispers, his soft brown eyes staring at you with so much adoration, that your convinced your heart stops beating for a second. "More than anything.", he adds. "You stole my heart, and now, it's yours forever".

There are tears brimming in your eyes, but it's for an entirely different reason now, and you lean forward to capture Jaemin's lips gently, your hands running through his soft locks as you kiss slowly, the taste of pancakes still lingering in your mouths.

Jaemin smiles in to the kiss, his hands leaving your face only to wrap around your waist, pulling you impossibly closer so your bodies are almost merged together, thumbs stroking your skin delicately.

For now, everything is perfect.
