in relation to that headcanon of the war boys excitedly going apeshit watching the plants grow in the citadel... i'd like to imagine the dag being their enabler. like she'd hype them all up whenever there are new crops or when the buds of flowers are in the process of blooming and the war boys are JUST THERE crowding around the flower beds just watching the flowers open ever so slowly and the dag is standing off to the side looking so pleased with herself as she chants prayers under her breath.

think about an au where the citadel annually celebrates the defeat of immortan joe via a massive neighborhood party and the citadel basically transforms into that memorable rave scene in the matrix reloaded where everyone just dances to the epic beats served by coma the doof warrior and his trusty backing drummers. think about nux and slit just losing themselves to the music and each other on the citadel grounds before sneaking out back to their chambers to fuck each others brains out.

Featured concept art and production design sketches created for Mad Max: Fury Road

2.) A glimpse of the battle-ready War Rig rolling out of the Citadel and driven by Imperator Furiosa as she secretly smuggles the Five Wives hidden in the tanker's cargo hold.

3.) An early rendering of Coma the Doof Warrior whose job is to rouse Immortan Joe's army of War Boys by shredding industrial-strength rock music blasting from a massive wall of speakers attached aboard the Doof Wagon.

In the final cut of the film, we see that the Wives are covered in diaphanous white fabric even while hosing themselves down with water and removing their chastity belts and Furiosa is instead seen making repairs to the War Rig rather than joining the Wives during their cleansing session.

6.) A look at the passengers of the War Rig reacting to the violent onslaught brought upon them by Immortan Joe and his allies.

7.) An early design of Immortan Joe flanked by his loyal band of War Boys bathed in moonlight. The final look of Immortan Joe sees the antagonist sporting a full head of long white hair with his breathing apparatus simplified into that of a lower section of an animal skull covering his mouth. The War Boys seen in the film have also seen major changes from the original design concept; doing away with tribal tattoos, studded leather ensembles, and straggly strands of hair in favor of a look defined by distressed utilitarian pants and boots and shirtless upper bodies with their skin slathered in white paint/clay and sporting black grease around their eyes and foreheads, along with variations of grotesque body modifications.

So then, for my birthday party, which was an all-Wives pool party, I was like, "Furiosa, I can't invite you, because I think you're a lesbian Imperator." I mean I couldn't have a lesbian Imperator at my party. There were gonna be hot straight breeders there in their *bathing suits*. I mean, right? She was a LESBIAN IMPERATOR! So then her war party called my war party and started yelling at them, it was so retarded. And then she dropped out of the Citadel because no one would talk to her. And when she came back in the fall for a major salvage run, all of her hair was cut off and she was totally weird, and now I guess she's on guzzoline.

Speaking of that remix, this was the only legit one I could find of the song using the same visuals of the video. Not exactly containing the epic electric guitar riffs of Coma, but the aggressiveness of it along with the chopped-up vocals is close enough for me.

And now that I think about it... The co-ed group of beautiful and body-diverse hippies in the music video could probably be like the Citadel gang.
