lloyd “it’s just a game guys, lets just have fun” garmadon and lloyd “i will hold a grudge against the person who got me out for the rest of my life” garmadon are ideas that could and absolutely do coexist

i think he’s a bad thrower. like he CAN throw, he’s just not as good as the rest of them

gets people out by catching the ball more than actually hitting them (he’s got practice with catching HANDS)

garmadon called it training. wu called it being childish and petty

catch him throwing cans straight at garmadons head just to hear the hollow “tonk” sound (if they had cans back then lmao)

so there’s really no way to declare a winner

Genuinely convinced of my personal headcanon where Garmadon was never actually evil, even after the snakey bite. Like I'm constantly getting the vibe that his dad saw him acting like a moody little kid, and just kinda convinced himself and his children that the snake bite made him evil.

Garmadon (S1-2) never feels like a guy who is evil, but a guy acting out his, at best, childish interpretation of what an evil person would do. It feels more like some kind of misplaced obligation to him than anything. The dude literally orders his minions out of the room, then insecurely asks the Overlord if he should have "flipped a table or something".

This doesn't read to me as someone who IS ontologically evil. This is a guy who was told he was evil and was expected to be evil so many times he started to lean into it.

Lloyd intercepting is so Canon!Lloyd. Protective, but still a younger brother. A part of the prank wars but also slightly in awe of his "older brother".

Your hc about kai being spared from prank wars bc of big brother privileges is so right I love you. I can imagine a massive prank war going on and kai having no idea its happening because lloyd specifically intercepts any pranks that would affect kai

half the time kai doesn’t even know a prank war is going on because

1) the master of pranks (Lloyd) does not touch him

2) anyone who lays a prank on Kai is to be demolished by the master of pranks
