except for cole. cole is not allowed to use his super strength to throw anything because it will put a hole through something or someone

that being said, tiny tiny earthquakes to throw someone off balance is not off the table

you already know kai and jay are competitive as fuck. both in the game and in screaming bloody murder the loudest

i think they would both use some elemental power to charge up the throw, like that short where they’re chopping bricks (i forgot the name lmao)

jay WHIPS the ball like no one else (cause lightning 😎) AND plus the lightning charge up?? bros out for blood

little bit of a sore loser but he forgets about it pretty quickly

kai is such a sore loser let’s be honest now

but if he wins he’s holding it above the others forever

i think he’s got shit aim lmao

in fights he’s so used to making a big ass blast of fire and shooting it in the general direction he doesn’t need to aim

that being said he definitely torches the dodgeballs midair

regardless of if they’re about to hit him or not

zane however has scarily accurate aim, being a nindroid and all

he always hits them on the shoulder

he’s not above freezing the floor and making them slip. you would think he is, but he’s not.

lloyd “it’s just a game guys, lets just have fun” garmadon and lloyd “i will hold a grudge against the person who got me out for the rest of my life” garmadon are ideas that could and absolutely do coexist

i think he’s a bad thrower. like he CAN throw, he’s just not as good as the rest of them

gets people out by catching the ball more than actually hitting them (he’s got practice with catching HANDS)

nya absolutely decimates them

goes easy on jay and is out for kai’s head

jay SAYS he was going easy on her, and in return she nails him in the stomach with a ball

jay is no longer going easy on her

she’s just as much of a sore loser as kai is

wu and garmadon would play something like dodgeball when they were younger

it mostly involved chucking whatever they could find at each other at random times

garmadon called it training. wu called it being childish and petty

catch him throwing cans straight at garmadons head just to hear the hollow “tonk” sound (if they had cans back then lmao)

so there’s really no way to declare a winner

if morro was alive and/or with the ninja he is here to WIN. nothing less.

the point of dodgeball is to dodge. if he gets hit, then it’s his failure and incompetence

he and lloyd definitely target each other. whoever wins, it’s a matter of pride on both sides

I would imagine when the OG 4 started living together, there was a lot of iffy-ness around rules and boundaries. Lots of things like Cole eating Jay's food, Jay using Kai's account to play video games (also is it just me or did the creators forget that Kai was the video game fan and jay was the inventor builder guy in the first couple seasons, so by the second half of the show, kai playing video games was just forgotten about?? And other side note, Kai was the best at video games, and also grew up supporting his sister? Like they were poor, but he found a way? That's really sad and kinda cute) ANYWAY, like the season 1 group would have had so much trouble with how loud you can play music, how late you can play music, clean the bathroom counter if you get toothpaste on it, throw away the milk carton when you finish the milk, etc. But also spatial boundaries? Like them figuring out who's a hugger and which of them is close to another. Like Cole and Kai annoy each other but they get along really well, and Cole is really down to earth and dealt with a lot of similar problems to Kai because he wasn't around his dad for a lot of his childhood, so they talk a lot, and they're only comfortable hugging each other. But I assume by like, season 4, they're so over that, and they'll just pile on the couch to watch a movie, Cole put his head on Kai's shoulder, Jay holds onto Cole's arm at the scary parts, and Lloyd just lies across all of their legs with Nya sitting on the floor in front of him so he can play with her hair, and by season 16, they share chairs at dinner, hug each other from behind, lie on the floor to watch movies propped up against each other however is comfortable, move into each other's rooms when they have nightmares, and and they're actually all huggers, but Lloyd's the most obvious and will hug them all every time he sees them.

Good timeline where Echo Zane was rescued by Jay and Nya immediately after skybound and after processing how fucked it is that his dad left a whole ass boy alone in the basement of his lighthouse and never told anyone Zane resolves to be the best older brother on the goddamn planet. He consults Kai for advice (because he's the current holder of that title, obviously). Kai already has a PowerPoint ready he's been waiting his whole life for this

But give it a year and Nya and Lloyd can both pull this off, but Cole and Jay better not touch any of Kai's food.

But also realize that if Kai had to provide for the two of them, they probably never had enough to eat, which means they would both have to stop themselves from hoarding food, they would both hate anyone eating their food (except Kai wouldn't mind Nya doing it because he always wants her to have more than him), and they would probably both eat a lot at every meal. Also they would probably buy snacks after fights, before they go home. They'd probably both spend most of their money on food.

Kai: WHO ATE MY BREAD?! Kai: I'M GOING TO F***ING K- Nya: I did? Kai: Kiss you and buy some more, you haven't been eating anything today Nya. *walking away* Nya: Nya: Their gone Lloyd. Little!Lloyd, coming out the closet with bread stuffed in his mouth: Twankh uh!

I bet he genuinely has no idea how old he is, but nobody else does either! Like all the ninja just let him get away with stuff cause when one of them is mad at him there's always someone who isn't mad to be like "hey, he looks older than he is, he's like a kid still" but then he picks up on that and does annoying things and then is like "hey you can't be mad at me!! I haven't matured yet!" And kai's like "bro ur like 25 I'm still mad so go sit in ur room and think about what you did"

Something funny about a Morro who stops giving any fucks. Like before Harumi chills out and has her redemption or whatever, I think the contrast is funny because a Morro without all his drive and anger as furious as his winds is just :/ okay, nothing more to do here. He's at peace now, so he's like Grumpy Cat or Miette. He deserves to laze around and be bored and ^_^ "Sensei!!" as Wu hands him a bag of chips and all the Ninja are like 😐 also the imagery of someone going @/him with a spray bottle is funny, the hissing cat energy...so yeah, more villains trying to incite him to feel that anger again and join them and he's just, done. He wants a break and live with his dad again. Get to be the person he was before his obsession with becoming the green ninja changed him. It's like when someone goes to therapy or finally stops clenching their jaw so hard and they turn into pudding like "woah" everything you pent up inside just melts away and now you need some floor time. Bring a board with red strings connected "here's why you should join my evil army" *munching chips slowly, throws away the empty bag* "enlightening" *crosses arms behind head and leans back for a nap* *gets woken by loud banging noises* ok now u made him mad. Morro is on his retirement now. Fighting villains? Ninja training? Trying to destroy the world and get revenge? Sounds exhausting now. But if someone tries to disturb the peace that's when he'll do something and it's SPOOKY because he's like jelly or draped like a boneless cat over furniture but then someone's about to fuck shit up in his general vicinity and he opens one eye to glare at you and it's paralyzing so hey at least the Ninja know he cares somewhat on his own terms. Also he would like more snacks pls.

What if when the golden weapons didn't glow around him Morro was... kinda ok? Maybe he still reacts the same way as in cannon but soon enough he calms down. Wu is a good dad and apologizes and things are ok. Except for one small issue: what now?

Morro has spent years of his life training to be something he isn't and now he has no idea what to do with himself, so he leaves. He talks with Wu, packs a good amount of supplies and lots of warm clothes and food, and sets off on a journey. He's not looking the Toomb of the fsm master (that would be crazy, a suicide mission really), he's kinda just wandering. Moving from place to place, having fun and learning (lil nerd). The wind never stays still. He likes to send letters and postcards and photos to wu when he can, just to keep him updated, and maybe he even visits every once in a while.

And then the postcards stop. They've always been inconsistent due to the nature of morros travels but it's been months and there hasn't been anything. Wu still gets other mail so that's not the problem... why hasn't he heard from his son? What happened to his baby boy?

Okay, hear me out.

My headcanons mainly are about the movie ninja crew, and bc I headcanon Nya and Kai as Twins, and I also headcanon that Cole designs a lot of the stuff the ninja use and wear (backpacks, phone cases, stickers, etc..), I had this idea that Kai and Nya just switch all the time

No reason what so ever, they just think it’s cool and lean 100% into the Twin thing.

I know it's a common headcanon thay Zane texts extremely Proper with exact grammar which is good, but I also love the idea that he literally constantly looks up text slang and even goes so far as to periodically read academic papers written on how instant messaging effects language, like doing research to optimize his texting skills, and because of this. He is by far the most up-to-date trendy texter. He knows all the lingo and shorthand and absolutely no one expects that from him. He'll use acronyms of things he would never say in real life
