I think it's pretty funny that in Ninjago's early season there are only the 4/5 elements, and they always need the 4 for things, spinjitzu of creation, the blades on the dark island, etc; but then they go to Chen's island and are like whoa there are other elemental masters! But like, even then, they don't ever need the 6 ninja to unite for something. It's a good thing they didn't come across something that needs 6 ninja before they found out Nya had power.
If the ninja had yearbook quotes:
Nya Smith: "I have no idea what I'm doing, but I know that I doing it really, really well."
Cole Brookstone: "To whoever created Google, Wikipedia, and copy and paste: Thank you."
Nya Smith: "The mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell."
Jay Walker: "If no one comes from the future to stop you, how bad of an idea can it be?"
Kai Smith: "I'm not great at senior quotes, can I interest you in a sarcastic comment?"
Lloyd Garmadon: "Goats are like mushrooms. If you shoot a duck, I'm scared of toasters."
Cole Brookstone: "Is this due at 11:59, too?"
Zane Julien: "I don't even know, but I'm done."
Harumi: The Office, Season 7, Episode 19, timestamp 14:45 "Should have burned this place down when I had the chance."
I just posted this separately, but I feel like it's relevant here too

I wanted to draw them all again but afterwards I noticed the way I did it looks like a school yearbook-
(Btw, bc people keep commenting on it and are confused, I draw the ninjago characters very heavily based on the Movie and different headcanons of mine, I have different posts about those if anyone is interested)
i feel like season 6 showed us pretty clearly that Kai is obsessed with his merch

If anyone knows of a fix-it fic for this, I'd love to read it!
Ronin should have had a role in seabound for the love of god:
He's literally the reason Nya started having better control over her powers. It'd have been nice to see that get called back to with her struggling to control them again.
It would have been really interesting to see his way of helping/mentoring Nya somewhat clashing with Mayas.
Seeing how Ronin interacts with the Smith parents would have just been intriguing in general
His mechanical and tech expertise can be put to good use on the sea bounty and maybe make for nice moments between him and Nya bonding over machines
Let's be honest he would have absolutely lost it hearing Nya call Kalamarr "Kalamari" this is the same guy who made a BOMB VOYAGE joke
We didn't even get to see his face at Nya's funeral and its really annoying. She's the one who got him to open up and probably for the first time in ages. We should have gotten to at the very least see his reaction to her being gone.
He absolutely would have said nasty things without knowing what he was talking about, or outright saying things he knew were messed up just so he could avoid being a target.
It's also possible that without people purposefully showing him how to be kind, or understand...anything really, then its possible he said hateful things knowing what they meant and knowing he could/was hurting people and that as he spends more time with the ninja, his ideas and opinions change and he realizes he doesnt want to hurt people anymore. He doesnt hate people anymore. He wants to help others. And he becomes the green ninja. And knowing how it felt to want to hurt makes him better suited for dealing with villains like Harumi whose goal is to hurt like she was hurt.

he was definitely homophobic at some point
Besides the obvious Lloyd trusted Harumi argument, just think about it. It's obvious Lloyd has trust issues, if not explicitly said in the show, you can see so many causes and so many signs. His mom ditched him (at a school for bad boys?? Like why??) And his dad was never around. Having no stable primary caregiver will screw you up, no matter how loved you are. It makes it harder to connect and trust if you didn't learn as a baby that when you cry, your mom will always show up, and when she leaves she will always come back. So to not have either parent is going to cause some trouble.
On top of that, the boys at the school are not supposed to be trustworthy, that's the whole point of the school. So making and keeping friends is gonna be a struggle (I could talk about this for ages, but you should realize that this would absolutely make Lloyd so sad. As he get older he struggles so much to know if his friends are really friends, if they're just using him. He would definitely over analyze every conversation)
That said, once he starts spending time with the ninja, he learns to trust and they bring out his good and kind self. The one that brings stray cats home or learns to cook with Zane because he wants to spend time with him and because he loves to create things or gardens with cole because seeing things grow is ✨️❤️✨️ to him. And having learned to trust and love them, and realizing that he can make mistakes and still be loved, definitely leads to him struggling to differentiate between who is trustable and who is not.
Thanks for reading my analysis of Lloyd's trust issues!
Thats fair, I was thinking about season 16 garmadon, that wants to be good and happy. Like coming to the realization that you killed your mom would be so horrible. Not to mention the countless others he's killed. The guilt he would go through later would be so bad
So related to @legogeek33 's Oni theory about the types of Oni (Vengeance, Hatred, Deception) and the circulating theory that Mistaké is Garm and Wu's mom
The Oni form markings

The way the markings on their foreheads connect to the eyebrows and swirl in the same directions...
At first I thought they were generic Oni markings, but the only Oni-related thing that has that same swirl is the Mask of Deception

Hmm
Ha
Um
If he wasn't a ninja, he'd be a social activist.
I've probably made this post before but I don't remember so I'll do it again: I adore how it's a semi-constistent thing in the show that when Cole is placed with a group of imprisoned people he WILL start a revolt/rebellion within the day. Like it's happened multiple times something about him just inspires revolution
This also implies that Lou is Lloyd's great grandfather, and Wu and Garmadon's grandfather.
Now I'm picturing Lou calling and Cole just turns the phone over to Lloyd or Wu.
Wait a minute. Hang on. We all make jokes about Cole being Wu's dad and using dad privileges against Wu long after the baby arc, right? BUT. There is SO much untapped potential in Cole extending this even further by concluding that if he's Wu's dad, then naturally this means he's Lloyd's grandpa.
Ninjago theory:
Dragons Rising makes The Ninja team up with other people, then the Other People essentially become ninja, at the end of the season The Ninja go home or whateve, exit stage left, and essentially pass the baton. Which closes out The Ninjas story but continues ninjago for newer fans.
Why else would Crystallized be promoted as the final season? And lego has been adding a lot of new themes and transitioning Friends to be The Friends kids, so I feel like it would fit with the flow of the company.
Okay I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but the opening guitar solo is from Bring On The Pirate by The Fold and my mind is still blown.

Post-Ghost jamming session
Based on the band scene from Wu’s Teas where Lloyd sang onstage and the rest of the Ninja were jamming out
YO WAIT
IF NINJAGO IS GOING BACK TO LONGER EPISODES AGAIN, DO YOU THINK WE COULD GET THE “Previously on Ninjago” BACK TOO?!

OH MY GOD
I find it highly amusing how in situations where the ninja are separated/it's just the OG four, Kai and Zane immediately assume control/start spearheading the team because apparently no one else is sane enough or in the right mind to do so.

Your honour, they literally have one of the best dynamics in the show, with how they're probably the most protective people in the team. And it makes me mad how this is overlooked by the fandom and the show.
Also the
"They snuck out! You've got to be kidding me! We would never have done that to master wu! Actually. We would have."
"There's no way they'd be running around town with my meditation carpet."
...
"THEY'RE RUNNING AROUND TOWN WITH MY MEDITATION CARPET"
Dragons Rising Lloyd is like a younger sassier version of Wu and I am here for it honestly
Lloyd's rolled up sleeves were so cute in the early seasons, I'm so bummed they took them out in Dragons Rising.
the fact that Arin was told to pick a fake name and he went with Dr. Lampshade Floortile
but the fact that Lloyd chose Doyll Donmagar-
Side note: did Lloyd just come up with that right off the bat or was that a name he had floating around from like, his darkly's school days??
