Yay, Actually Decided On What My OC Christopher From My Soon-to-be-realized Comic The Raven Prince Will

Yay, actually decided on what my OC Christopher from my soon-to-be-realized comic The Raven Prince will look like!!!!!

I’ve been thinking about this project for so long, but couldn’t get myself to sit down and draw my characters (in all honesty, I do have quite a few ...).

But with Autodesk’s many free brush sets, I was able to tinker around and find something I truly love. Without it, I would have never have thought of giving Christopher freckles (though since the comic will be colored in grayscale, I’m curious how I’m going to render them).

So happy! ... though, I’m not so sure about the size and shape of his eyes yet.Ā

I Couldnt Resist Drawing My Favorite Sketch Of Ernest H. Shepards Illustrations From A. A. Milnes Second

I couldn’t resist drawing my favorite sketch of Ernest H. Shepard’s illustrations from A. A. Milne’s second Winnie-the-Pooh book, The House at Pooh Corner. When I was looking at Shepard’s drawings online I found that he also did the illustrations for The Wind the Willows, which was (and still is) one of my favorite books since early middle school. I wish that children’s books today had this level of quality in their illustrations. You would think with the advent of technology that we could produce high quality illustrations like this in an even shorter amount of time, but I keep seeing these really cheap looking books that saddens me to no end.

A Small Doodle To Test Out My Brand New Brush Pens. I Love Them So Much, The Texture They Bring Is Really

A small doodle to test out my brand new brush pens. I love them so much, the texture they bring is really interesting. I'm usually the person who wants my coloring/shading to be as smooth as creamy peanut butter, but I am absolutely loving the wide variety in just one pen!! ā¤ Still not happy with his face though.....

Procrastinating My Drawing To Post Photos Of My Drawings.

Procrastinating my drawing to post photos of my drawings.

Work-in-progress of a small look at Finneley's garden. I tried to draw actual flowers and it's turned out to be quite fun.

Landscapes have been something I've been too scared to do because of the detail I felt was needed if I did it with colored pencils.

I had the fun thought to scan this whenever I finish it so that I can use it as a background for some traditional animation. But we'll see how it goes.

Happy drawing! I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday šŸŒžā¤ļøšŸŒ¹ā¤ļøšŸŒž
