I Heard The News, And The World Got Just A Little Bit Duller Around The Edges. The Sharpness Was Gone.
I heard the news, and the world got just a little bit duller around the edges. The sharpness was gone. The abrasiveness, the brashness and boldness of our youths was ground down a little bit more than it already has.
For anyone going on 20 next year: go out. Make stands on soapboxes. Do some crazy, maybe a little bit illegal shit in the real world.
We need that now more than ever.
Right fucking now.
R.I.P. Steve Albini.
He provided the philosophical basis and ethos I have carried on well into adulthood.
He proved that you can get older be half an edgelord and still grow as a person.
We lost a real one and some who enabled and created a lot of great tunes.
Rest easy you put in a good shift on earth.

What the FUCK is Minecraft Diaries?
My friend does nothing with his blog but post Minecraft Diaries crap. Fanart, Refrences to the show that are all like "Skweebly Zoob in episode four after Gorble gets betrayed" or "We stan Klimbo in this house!!!"
What are you SAYING?
What are you TALKING ABOUT?
Who the hell are these people and why does it look like Genshin Impact made outta cubes?
Do y’all remember Black Ops 3?
You know, the coolest COD?
Because it was the one and only time in my recollection that there was a fundamental mechanical variation that made it wholly unique from the rest of the COD formula?
The last good COD game?
I’m playing it right now and it fucking rocks. Even the campaign was something wholly itself. It wasn’t just “evil terrorist guy shrouded in mystery” fights “rough and tumble loose cannons”. Okay, maybe it was a LOT of that, but they put twists as flourishes in it that made it interesting and DIFFERENT.
NO COD GAME HAS HAD FUNDAMENTAL DIFFERENCES LIKE THIS SINCE.
And there’s no point in asking EA to change it, because they don’t bother listening to their customers. Our wallets are the only thing they’ll ever listen to, and it’s been proven time and time again.
Have any of y’all listened to High On Fire’s new album yet?
I’ve only listened to a little bit of it, but I haven’t really sat down to listens to the whole thing yet. What do you guys think about it?
I don’t have all the answers about the mess going on down there, nor do most other people, 1) because mainstream news outlets are incentivized to push it under the U.S. Government’s ever-bulging rug, and 2) because people haven’t taken action due to reason 1.
But I do know that any protest that outcries and lays bare a government’s corruption, its deliberate moves to oppress its citizens, and its profiteering of the suffering of others must go on and ring out for everyone to hear.
In order to have a healthy democratic nation where we are permitted to—encouraged to disagree with others, to talk it out, brutality at the hands of the state is never-EVER-the first option.
Let the youths of America speak.

That part
Love when they turn Bruce’s getup into a wild fuckin animal!!!!!

Here's the cover to ABSOLUTE BATMAN #3 by the incredible Nick Dragotta and Frank Martin!
