Early Next Month I'm Gonna Go To My First Appointment At The Gender Clinic! I'm So Excited But Also Really
Early next month I'm gonna go to my first appointment at the gender clinic! I'm so excited but also really scared and stressed out about it :(
The apartment itself takes place at another towne which is quite awhile away so I either have to be driven there or take the train
I just hope I don't need to fight to be able to get on Testosterone :/ I'm 21 so my words should be able to carry me further than if I was a teen (sadly) so I hope for the best
What arguments would someone recommend when it comes to discussing the possibility of testosterone?

I just watched The Last Of Us episode 3 and it's so fucking beautiful!!!!!
Seeing a gay couple live their best fucking lives doing whatever the fuck they want without bigotry or hatred towards them makes me so fucking happy
And seing gay characters decide their time has come not because of homophobia or prosecution for their orientation but because they love eachother and want to die together because of that and nothing else is so beautiful
I can't describe how much I cried deep tears seing all of this! Just seing them be old and happy
Seing the dumb things they argue about because they can both be petty and shit
How can anyone hate seing that!?
Is hate really so deep in so many people's heart that they will see something so beautiful and still decide to hate? The final act of loving your partner is ignored because your heart is so hate filled that it makes you blind?!
How????
What do you think lesbians are attracted to in women that we can’t be attracted to in men?
It can’t be anything about femininity or masculinity obviously. That’s both sexist, and cultural so can’t be what drives woman-only attraction.
It can’t be anything about stated identity because someone could lie just as easily as they could tell the truth in such a statement, and it makes no sense because homosexuality and heterosexuality exists in other species with no stated identities. It’s not like other animals without gender are all pan.
Saying idk it’s the vibes or some indescribable trait women have that men can’t but “I can’t explain” is a nonanswer.
Soooooooo what is it? Or do you think any sexuality but bi/pan is just cultural performance or an identity rather than an inborn orientation?
????
I'm gonna try and answer you in good faith so I hope this was a good faith argument
The slogan of "born this way" doesn't mean literally being born with the "gay" gene it's about how we have a right to be attracted to whoever regardless of gender and that we can'tchange that (I'm referring to adults only duh)
I can't really explain lesbianism because it has alot of other factors than "me like woman" because everyone experiences their attraction differently
I've met lesbians who aren't attracted to dick and lesbians who does they are both still lesbians
Including alot of other things ofcourse
However having the fear of someone lying about their identity isn't a good idea because then you have to constantly question the validity of someone's identity all the time including yourself which is honestly counterproductive
Sexuality is fluid for alot of people and it can be based on a million things
Bi and pan people are under the multi attraction labels and has been shown to be a werry real thing
In reality understandings that you don't always understand an identity or sexuality is really the way to go because everyone is diffrent and experiences are different as well
Hope this somewhat helps

being Aromantic can be hard but we still exist and we will not sacrum to any hate hope everyone enjoyed Aromantic Awareness Week
Welcome to the world of "we only ever looked at the signs in white boy children"
But all jokes aside majority if help and advice is mostly aimed towards parent to help them handle their neurodivergent child
I got my autism diagnosis just before I turned 17 and even I had problems getting help.or advice to go on with my day due to all the help out there only being aimed towards young kids
I kid you not I was told that I could go to a group meeting with other neurodivergent teens and adults and if we ever don't know what to do we should call eachother for help instead of actually helping
And I've heard from others the second you turn 18 it gets harder to get specific Autism and ADHD diagnoses because they are seen as "children disabilities"
How come when I research various mental health topics on the NHS websites, like ADHD, depression, autism, selective mutism, anxiety, etc… The articles are always written as if they are about children? “Your child may behave…” “Some children have trouble processing…” “Many children…” ”In school your child may present…” ”Diagnosis by a child psycologist…” Am I on the childcare part of the website or something??
