A Crew On A Deep Sea Fishing Boat Sadly Saw A Whale Struggling As It Was Ensnared In A Large Fishing

A crew on a deep sea fishing boat sadly saw a whale struggling as it was ensnared in a large fishing net. The web covered almost its entire body and was wrapped around the tail and fins making it difficult to swim or dive.
The crew carefully pulled alongside with hooks and knives in an attempt to free the struggling animal, but each time they reached down to help, the whale violently resisted their efforts. After several attempts to save the whale, the caring crew sadly pulled away only to watch the whale continuing to try to free itself in vain from this deadly snare which would certainly guarantee its death.
This is a perfect picture of people in this life. We are all born into a web of sin that ensnares us that will also eventually lead us to our demise. The boat that comes alongside to free us from our bonds is God, yet the natural tendency of people likewise is to resist God’s help.
Just like that obstinate whale, you too can choose to fight against being saved, but there is no escape from this web of sin without the help of the great “Fisher of Men” - the LORD Jesus Christ.
Before The Web Of SIN ends your life, let God free you and you will not only live in this life, but in the next life in eternity. Let Him come close to you and simply ask Him to help you - AND HE WILL.
Friend, will you choose to do that today? Or will you resist and let that net drown you?

Suppose you committed a serious crime, and were brought into court. The evidence against you is overwhelming, and the judge asks how do you plead and you say GUILTY, and then asks if you have anything to say and you sincerely plead:
“I am SO SORRY!! I promise I will NEVER do this again! Please have MERCY on me!”
Regardless of how earnest you are an EARTHLY JUDGE has no choice but to execute JUSTICE according to the law — but before the HEAVENLY JUDGE it’s a different story!
While we all deserve judgement as due justice for our sins, in God’s courtroom 1 John 2:1 says that “If any man sin, we have an ADVOCATE with the Father, JESUS CHRIST the righteous” where 'advocate' here not only means attorney or counselor, but additionally that the fine and punishment for your sin WAS fully paid for by this adovocate on your behalf through the blood of Christ:
“In him (Christ) we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace.” Ephesians 1:7
All of us one day will stand before the heavenly judge, and if in that courtroom you do not have Jesus as your Advocate, your sentence will be the Hammer of JUSTICE instead of the Cross of MERCY.
Friend, sincerely confess your sins today BEFORE before you stand in that court, and you WILL receive God’s MERCY which you do not deserve instead of the JUSTICE that you do deserve.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how would you rate your faithfulness to God?
Unfortunately, some think that they can live life with one foot in the world and the other foot half way committed to God, but doing so is a slippery slope which always takes us BACKWARDS to trouble instead of FORWARD to Blessing.
Imagine your child treating you the way you treat God — giving lip service by pretending to be good, but sneaking around doing things you were taught not to do. Doing so dishonors God but grieves him!
You see, when we obey God, we demonstrate our love and faithfulness to Him. Jesus said, “If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and abide in his love. These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full.” (John 15:10–11).
Friend, playing games with God is never good because not only is He watching us, but because others are watching how we live. As the NEW TESTAMENT is a testament of the gospel to the world, our lives need to be a LIVING TESTAMENT that reflect God to others in how we talk, act, and live.
My dear friend, if you have been “playing games with God,” now is the time to live a much more obedient life — and with it will come peace and a deep satisfaction of being in your wealthy place. That is the game that God wants YOU to “WIN!”

It’s hard to know what the future will bring when life suddenly throws you a curve. Just when everything is going along fine and dandy, the rug suddenly slip out from under your feet and unexpected things will inevitably happen completely out of the blue. Our response to those things will be determined on how we have prepared ourselves of how much the word of God has been built up inside of us. Will we stand firm in our faith or will we experience fear?
When life is difficult, we look to God and find out that He has grace. In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Bible tell us that His grace is sufficient for you, for his power is made perfect in our weakness. First, we must give our situation and life to God; this is the hardest part, because we feel more secure of we think we are in control of things. Once we give these things over to Him, He is going to give us the ability to stand up and endure.
So, no matter what is going on in your life, remember that all things are temporary. Keep your focus on Jesus and not on any negative circumstances. God is faithful and He will always see you through by bringing you into the season of blessing, so rejoice and praise Him for the season you are in, even it is very hard and trying. Be strong and be brave and remember that He is right there by your side with you and expect Him to see you through.
“I will lift up my eyes to the hills from where comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1

The Bible says that what we think (and say) is what we will be and have, and there is no better way to live life now to prepare us for the life that follows by decreeing and declaring Godly principles:
I decree and declare to put God first in my life
I will exalt Almighty God daily, thanking Him for who He is and for ALL the many blessings He has given me
I will read His Word each day and proclaim it with my voice
I will always pray and speak IN FAITH, standing on and believing the promises of His Word
I will have a home welcoming only light and peace that is filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit
I endeavour to live a life formed by God’s love to all
I will live an obedient and contrite life towards God
I will be salt and light to others
Friend, while there are many ways life can be lived the only true, tried, and taint-proof way that will stand the test “Revealed by Fire” is to follow Him who “Makes straight paths for our feet.” (Hebrews 12:13)
What are your declarations today?

The iconic comedian George Carlin often derided the Bible by saying whenever there was something that seemed a bit wacky, he explained it in a mocking tone saying, “Well…It’s MYSTERY.” While a humorous tag line, it raises an interesting question.
Does that mean that because we don’t understand something, therefore it must be UNTRUE?!?
That was the dilemma Sir Isaac Newton faced after discovering the principle of gravity. He proved scientifically it existed, but did not know HOW it worked, and today we STILL don’t understand how it works, yet we all depend upon it! Does that mean gravity is untrue?
Likewise, just because there are parts of the Bible that are not understandable doesn’t mean the entire book is a false fable of fabrications.
The Bible says that all scripture is inspired by God (2 Timothy 3:16) and that God cannot lie (Titus 1:2), so given that, while we may not totally understand, we can totally trust it is true.
Are you open to trusting God at His Word, even if you do not fully understand it?
