I wasn't sure if I would do this, but I caved and...

...colored the outer cover of my Monster High pride comic. :)

It isn't perfect, but I had fun with it. I used a combination of gel pens and colored pencils. It's much sparklier in real life; a lot of the pens I used were glitter pens.

New Scaremester #1!!!

Once Bitten, Twice Dead is definitely helpful if not outright necessary for the context of the monster-normie tensions. (Again, find a PDF or check out a library copy before committing to buying your own.) I think it will also be useful for contextualizing Draculaura's subplot, although her appearance in this issue is brief.

I really like the artwork! The proportions look good on both the human-like monsters and the more out-there designs (for example, Manny Taur). There are some good facial expressions, too.

Lagoona got to speak a bit, which made me happy as a Lagoona stan (seriously, she deserves more respect from Mattel), but Manny, Heath, Romulus, and Spectra also got short lines! Certain fan-favorites made background appearances as well, so maybe they'll get to speak in the future.

No sign of Jackson or Holt yet. Again, you would think they'd be more important in a plot about monster-normie relations...

I have my criticisms, but I'm decently easy to please. I already want more. I read through this issue in about 5 to 10 minutes... T^T

FNAF. But are we thinking pre-UCN or post-UCN?

Pre-UCN: Michael Afton. He had a rough life, not even accounting for the fact that he died twice.

Post-UCN: Has been quite different every game, so it's hard to tell where the average of the suffering index is.
