Boba Fett In The Bad Batch?
Boba Fett in The Bad Batch?
I have to wonder what the galaxy’s larger perception of Boba Fett is; Considering how the Jedi were all but forgotten and Din Djarin has no idea himself, despite having lived through the Clone Wars… Is it common knowledge among the criminal underworld that Boba is a Jango clone? And amongst those who DO know, I can only imagine the rumors that sprung up, especially when you have an entire army of clones fighting for the Republic as well.
Do people think Boba is just another Clone trooper like the rest, only he decided that he REALLY wanted to be like his progenitor Jango? How many times has someone made the mistake of believing they can take on Boba because they’ve killed other clones before, bragging about it- Only to incite Boba’s wrath and a resound defeat? Does it frustrate Boba to be lumped in with the other clones, to not be known as his own person or at least Jango’s successor, but just another Clone bounty hunter- Because there could’ve been quite a few once they were decommissioned! And/or did Boba eventually come to terms with his connection with them? That of course opens an opportunity;
The Bad Batch really SHOULD bring in Boba Fett, possibly adapting his canceled arc where he comes of age by killing Cad Bane, and reclaiming his father’s title as the greatest Bounty Hunter. The show’s premise is already about clones who don’t quite fit in with the rest, so add to this theme by including Boba, the original and ideal clone, who ages normally and was raised as a true heir and child to Jango unlike the rest, who clearly has a bit of a complex and swears he has no REAL connection to the other clones… But c’mon.

Are the clones whitewashed in The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch? Absolutely
I support creators that attempt to correct their skin tone but I feel like I should address the other extreme.
Temuera Morrison, the live-action clone actor, is Māori. They are native to New Zealand. Tem is not white, but he is also not black! He is indigenous to New Zealand.
This is Tem as Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (2002):

With this reference in mind, both of these images are concerning to me:

Trying to bring justice to obvious whitewashing is one thing, but black-fishing is another. Both are harmful to POC communities and I’d just like creators to be mindful.
Thank you
i sometimes forget that fives is actually canonically dead because i’ve made such a convincing fix-it au in my head where he isn’t
GUYS- I think I cracked the code! I think I know how Bo-Katan is gonna appear in The Bad Batch and how it ties into the Mandalorian Purge😳
I’ll put it below because it’s kinda long😅
So, I was picking apart The Bad Batch trailers (as crazy people like me do) and I was trying to figure out what planet this was:

I was thinking it might be Alderaan, but there’s not really a big motive for the Empire (or the Republic) to occupy Alderaan. For all they knew, Bail Organa was compliant like every other senator. If they were suspicious, they would have done something much sooner than 0BBY.
So, what other planets have snow, tall trees, mountains, and frozen-over lakes? KROWNEST!

We saw in Star Wars Rebels that Clan Wren lived on Krownest and they were led by Ursa Wren, who made a brief appearance alongside Bo-Katan in The Clone Wars season 7.

If this part of The Bad Batch takes place after the Empire was formed, then it would make sense for TBB alongside the Imperials to try to occupy Mandalore and other Mandalorian planets. If you think about it, Mandalore is perfect to try to occupy because they were under new leadership (Bo-Katan, who was inexperienced with leading an entire planet or a system of planets), they were previously neutral in the Clone Wars, and Mandalorians are notoriously dangerous people to be against and they would be valuable allies. Then I remembered that there was a leak of the description for a Hasbro Bo-Katan black series action figure. The description says that “she refused to align with the Empire’s occupation of Mandalore” and that the action figure was a replica of her from The Bad Batch show...

So if she refused to join the Empire, maybe that’s the cause of the Mandalorian Purge. Bo even said she fought in the Purge. It’s been mentioned several times in The Mandalorian, but we’ve never gotten a time frame or many details. We do know that the Purge was at the Empire’s hands, though.
But what does that have to do with The Bad Batch? Okay, I think TBB was sent to help the Imperials occupy Krownest, but Bo-Katan resisted, resulting in the Mandalorian Purge. As we know, Jango Fet, the clone template, was a Mandalorian foundling. It’s widely accepted that the clones speak Mando’a, so is it bold to assume they have loyalties to Mandalore? Maybe TBB decided to aid the Mandalorians on Krownest and fight on their side. However, we know that the Mandalorians lost to the Empire, and maybe this is how TBB dies👀
The Mandalorians lose, Krownest is occupied by the Empire, Ursa Wren makes a deal with them, and Tristan Wren goes on to be a Mandalorian who serves the Empire (as Fenn Rau calls them). Perhaps Bo-Katan leaves before the Empire can catch her, running away with Clan Kryze and surviving. This might also explain how Bo-Katan referred to Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian. When explaining the plan, Bo says “Koska, Fennec, Dune, myself, disembark...” She uses Koska and Fennec’s first names but she calls Cara by her last name. We know that she is close with Koska, which explains why she calls her by her first name, but she must be familiar with Fennec as well. Fennec is gonna be in The Bad Batch so maybe they’ll interact with one another.
If you’re still reading, what did you think? I’d love to hear your thoughts, feedback, or constructive criticism!
May the Force be with you!
IS FIVES ALIVE???

Fives, Fox, and The Bad Batch are on the same cover...and the release dates...

IT IS POSSIBLE?? TBB premiere is 70 minutes... We never saw Fox again after he killed Fives and look:

We saw Fox shoot Fives, Fox immediately after he shot Fives, AND THEN HE WAS GONE. HE WASN’T STANDING IN THE CIRCLE. ALL THE HELMETS ARE WHITE. NOT A SINGLE RED HELMET. GUYS-
DAVEEEEEEEEEEEEEE?
IB: @hikime
GUYS- SABINE HAS EZRA’S LIGHTSABER! HE GAVE IT TO CHOPPER BEFORE HE LEFT THE DOME TO MEET WITH THRAWN. HE’S DEFENSELESS-
She wields it so naturally though🥲
