The Bad Batch 1x01 spoilers!
I hate Nala Se but...was that a...redemption in The Bad Batch 1x01???
She really helped The Bad Batch get away... with Omega...her medical assistant...
Maybe Omega made her more compassionate and maybe she wanted Omega to have a better life with people she belonged withđĽ˛

Ok so Iâm 90% sure that Wolffe executed Order 66 and then had his inhibitor chip removed. I think we might also get to see this in Star Wars: The Bad Batch (2021-).

In Star Wars Rebels (2014-2018), when Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor are introduced to the Ghost Crew and Kanan ignites his lightsaber after realizing they were clones, Wolffe immediately shot at him and said âJedi! Theyâve come for revenge.â
Itâs reasonable for him to assume that Kanan wanted revenge for Order 66, but he still didnât stand down when Rex told him to. Rex had to calm him down by reminding him that âthey werenât the ones that betrayed [them].â In this connotation, it makes it sound like Wolffe believes that the Jedi betrayed the clones, probably the treason charge which justified Order 66.
When Ezra asks Rex for the locations of possible Rebel bases they could use that were abandoned after the Clone War, Rex and Gregor seem on board but Wolffe is against it.
Later, he reports the Ghost Crew to the Empire because he thought they were going to get them in trouble, still thinking the Jedi and Rebels were traitors.
When Rex was talking to Kanan, he said âI never betrayed my Jedi. Wolffe, Gregor, and I all removed our control chips.â Rex never betrayed Anakin, and Ahsoka was no longer a Jedi or a commander in the GAR during Order 66, but Rex never said anything about Wolffe betraying Plo Koon. Sure, Plo was shot down by Oddball and Jag, but Wolffe might have still been involved.
We know Wolffe had his chip removed, but I think it was removed after Order 66 and he still suffers trauma from it. Plo was one of the compassionate Jedi when it came to their clone battalions, and Iâm sure the thought that Plo betrayed him would have been heartbreaking after everything theyâd been through.

I know a lot of people donât like Lux Bonteri, and everyone is entitled to their opinions, but I honestly donât think heâs that bad.
If youâd like to read my justifications, theyâre down below :)
Just to be fair, this is just about everything canon about Lux from The Clone Wars:
His mother, Mina Bonteri was a senator in the Separatist Senate. From this, we know he was basically taught that the Separatists were the âgood guysâ in the Clone War.
We are told that his father was killed by Republic forces during the war, which would further turn Lux against the Republic.
When he first meets Ahsoka, he admits that he was told as a child that the Jedi were good but he isnât sure about that anymore. Despite seemingly blaming Jedi for the war, he doesnât hold that against Ahsoka specifically, and even makes an attempt to befriend her in a weird teenage boy way.
Count Dooku had his mother assassinated, leaving Lux as an orphaned teenager. This would also make him question his siding with the Separatists.
To avenge his mother, he wants to kill Count Dooku, despite knowing that itâs basically a s**cide mission.
He knows he canât do it himself so he enlists the help of Death Watch, a powerful terrorist group that isnât afraid to kill powerful people like Sith Lords and who claim to support him.
Ahsoka gets dragged into his scheme on accident after saving him. He never intended for her to get caught up in his mess and probably hoped sheâd stay unconscious on the ship.
When creating their cover story for Ahsoka suddenly being there, he follows along with her plan. When Bo-Katan grabs Ahsokaâs face and then slaps her ass, you can see him widen his eyes and try to recover without looking suspicious. Immediately after Bo-Katan slaps Ahsoka, he steps protectively in front of her to prevent an escalation that would break their cover. To make it seem more believable, he says that Ahsoka âserves her purpose,â which seems demeaning, but the goal is to make Bo-Katan believe that Ahsoka is unimportant and to focus on him and his plan.
To help maintain their cover story, he kisses her only because he needed a quick way to get her to shut up about the Death Watch being murderers and to make Pre Vizsla uncomfortable at the same time.
They help each other escape, and at the end of the arc itâs pretty clear that they have bonded quite a bit and even perhaps formed an attachment. However, they have to split ways. Ahsoka has to follow the Jedi Code and Lux needed to hide from Dooku.
The next time we see Lux, heâs helping rebels on his home planet of Onderon fight against the Separatists. This shows that heâs fully against the Separatists and is siding with the Republic.
Heâs dating Steela Gererra, but can you blame him? Ahsoka couldnât have a relationship with him and Steela shared a lot in common with him. At some point he was going to move on. Because he never had a reason to stop loving Ahsoka, he was inconveniently in love with both of them at the same time when he saw Ahsoka again and his feelings resurfaced. Later in the arc, Steela drops to her death after Ahsoka unintentionally drops her off of a cliff after being shot in the shoulder by a tank. He was heartbroken.
At Steelaâs funeral, Lux tells Ahsoka that heâs going to become the Senator of Onderon and he plans for Onderon to join the Galactic Senate of the Republic. Now, heâs fully sided with the Republic and has made the decision for his entire planet.
In summary:
Lux lost his mother, his father, and his girlfriend to the Clone War all before he was even an adult. (He probably thought he lost Ahsoka too after the Jedi Purge)
His beliefs made a complete 180° in the direction of the Republic, showing growth, despite his bad history with both sides.
Most of the âmistreatmentâ towards Ahsoka isnât that bad when you put it in perspective. (Some of it is questionable and/or embarrassing but still)
Lux Bonteri is not a bad character!
I really donât think he deserves the hate most people immediately serve him...
