I mean, yes. Yes you can. You can't expect people to make a good plan if they don't know exactly what is going on. Which they didn't. The only people who did were an old man who was taken out quite early, a slightly younger man who wasn't even there and two teenagers, one of which was convinced he had to do everything alone. Everyone else was working blind there. That's not what I would call a team-up.

The team-ups that did happen in that fight still managed to capture Shigaraki twice, only for all the effort to be thrown out the window by Deku. Twice. Because he was working in the opposite direction to the others attempts at team-up (like Endeavor telling Deku to hold Shigaraki down while he prepares the shot, wtv he was doing...Deku doesn't hold him down). They were trying to work together, Deku was torn between working with them and working alone.

So, maybe you can't blame him for thinking that the team-up didn't work. But I don't think he is right for thinking that, when the only reason the team up "didn't work" was because Deku wanted so much the others not to get involved that he ended up getting in the way, so to speak. Of course, they couldn't do anything agaisnt Shiggy individually, but neither could Deku alone, so.

Maybe this is harsh on Deku, but that's how I feel whenever someone thinks he is right about that particular issue. Idk :|

Indeed. Everyone did the best they could, but the conditions were suboptimal for true teamwork. Deku will have to accept eventually the he’s also part of everyone and other heroes want to save, just like him, with all their hearts.
