It's beautiful when passages from a book seem to speak with you as a person behind your role as a reader. You don't have to necessarily relate to the mood or the feeling it gives, sometimes you strongly do and often times, for me, it's just genuine to experience that fleeing sense of being understood.

Her silhouette and the promised kiss:

I frequently imagine your silhouette

Before me, around me, with me.

My mind has become used to it

And now I cannot distinguish

Your silhouette from my shadow,

I become you, you become me.

We merge as one and nothing tear us apart,

Then an instant is burnt to years

And a moment feels like forever.

So I do this every single day,

For I discovered that

The intimacy of thinking about you

Is as sweet as our first kiss that we never had.
