A/N: hey everyone! I originally wanted to make this as animal friendly ad possible (meaning u could put in animal you want while u read) but there are so many different types of pets ranging for furry creatures or those who shed skin so it was so hard my bad :((

The Tighnari part of this headcanon is for all but written specifically for @hitomisuzuya , Suzu I hope you know that youre not alone and you should never ever put the blame of loosing Frank on yourself. Tighnari and you decided to visit mondstadt one day

Mainly because windblume was coming up and Collei wanted to see Amber again

The 3 of you had such a blast! It has been a while since the 2 of you have visited other nations so this was a well deserved break

Drank together, ate different dishes the city of freedom had to offer together, and made new friends

One day you met the calvary captain of the knights of favonuis while Tighnari was talking to Albedo

The conversation between the 2 of you shifted from work to animals to his title as the calvary captain

"Most of our horses have been taken in by Grandmaster Varka for his expedition however we still have around a few left here in the city just in case we need them" the captain started, "would you like to see them?"

You hesitated, a part of you didnt want to at all. You were afraid you'd break down and start remembering the past

But a part of you also wanted to, you longed to see another horse again

You longed to appreciate the way they strut, the way their mane flows when they jump, the way they look at you when you were getting ready for another competition together

Although their expression was overall the same, when you have a bond with a horse especially a strong one, their emotions as well as yours felt like they were connected

But youve avoided them like the plague

Regretfully, you said yes anyways

Your heart has won against your mind this time around

After a while the sun was about to go down and everyone was getting ready to call it a day

Tighnari and you left Collei with Amber so you both made your way to the inn youre staying at

The walk home was silent and you were staring down at your feet, and you seemed to be in a daze,

You gaze was empty, and there wasnt any hint of sparkle in your eyes

Tighnari noticed something was off so he asked

"Hey are you alright?"

"What? Oh. Uh yeah Im fine" you nodded half heartedly after his sudden question taking you off your train of thoughts

The fox stopped on his track and held your hand

"No something is off, you never look up when youre upset. Tell me whats wrong sunflower, Im here for you"

Your back was still facing him, but he could see your shoulders starting to shake, and you trying to muffle up sobs

"I miss him everyday and when I saw the horses before with Kaeya one of them looked like him and..."

"One of them looked exactly like him. I can't I regret that I wasnt able to save him Nari, Im such a bad companion. I could have done more, I could have SAVED him but I-"

You couldnt help but let more tears fall out

Yes you were still upset you lost your dearest companion

But you were also happy to hear those words come out of his mouth

You both stood in the middle of the road hugging for a while, waiting until you calmed down.

You knew it wasnt your fault that your beloved horse was gone, but Tighnari was right

He was always right

Your companion would never have blamed you for what happened to him

You wanted to be around horses again

But realise that the first step to finally be around them comfortably was to be able to accept and heal

And Tighnari will be with you every step of the way

You were with Kazuha relaxing together outside enjoying the fresh air

The sun was out bright in Liyue so you both decided to take a stroll before setting out to the sea again on the crux

At some point during your stroll a cat came to you and meowed

You stopped on your feet and looked down to see the cat starting to rub on you affectionatley

You of course bent down to give em some pets

Kazuha realised you werent on his side anymore and looked behind to see you gazing sotfly at the cat while playing with it

He cant help but think you looked cute

He walked towards you and bent down to the same level as you and watched you play with the cat

You broke the silence after a while

"I use to have a cat" still not breaking your gaze away from the cat

Kazuha looked up at you "oh really?"

"Mmhm, (gender) was beautiful, had lushious (colour) fur, ears so cute you could bite em off and eyes that when you stare at them for long enough, you could find yourself falling in love with (gender) again" subconsciously smiling when you said that

You missed your cat truly

They were your best friend

The ronin hesitated for a bit, not sure if he should ask the question that came up on his head

Without him asking you knew what was on his mind

"(Name) passed away not long ago. I was very sad. In fact, I would be lying if I said Ive healed completely" you chuckled, finally looking up at Kazuha smiling a bit

You didnt want to think about negative thoughts when talking about your beloved cat

Kazuha stared at you for a while before smiling "Im sure (name) is resting well now, and if (name) was still here Im sure (gender)'d would love all the different places youre seeing right now on your journey"

You both played with the stray cat for another 5 minutes while talking about your cat until the stray finally left

Kazuha would like to raise a kitten with you

And for him to see the bond grow between you and their future kitten

Everytime you both went out together there was one time you'd miss playing with the stray dogs and cats out

Especially stray dogs

You have special attention to them

Whenever Thoma was knitting something for the stray cats you'd request he made one for the dogs as well

Whenever he was going out to feed the dogs and cats you'd always remind him to feed the dogs as well

You loved being around them and they seem to as well

He was in awe with how much bond and trust was between you and the dogs

Its almost as if you have one yourself

He had brought up wanting to raise a puppy with ypu, or adopt one of the stray dogs

But everytime he asked youd politely decline saying you werent interested

He was confused and shocked obviously

I mean you clearly loved the stray dogs so why didnt you want to adopt one?

He had to find out

You were getting ready for bed one night looking at the mirror while brushing your hair when he asked you laying on a futon (youre visiting him)

He only continued when you hummed, curious to what he wanted to ask

"Oh its just, I wanna know why you keep rejecting the offer of raising a puppy together or adopting one of the stray dogs. I mean you have such a tight bond with the dogs and you seem to favour them.. I must admit I was a little shocked when you rejected. Oh but Im not forcing you to say yes to my suggestion, if you dont wanna then thats fine its just-" he stopped talking when he saw you facing him

Your face was a little hesitant and your brows were furrowed a bit.

He could tell you were debating wheather or not you wanna tell him

"Oh but if you dont wanna tell me thats okay too love" kinda panicked a bit worried if he asked you a personal question 😭

You chuckled reassuring him it was alright

"No no Thoma its not that, its just.." you trailed off again trying to find the right words

"Im sorry for rejecting your suggestion for raising a puppy together, I think its a wonderful idea but im not ready."

He was about to say something before you continued "I had a dog once (gender) was a (breed of dog), and I named em (name)" you smiled at him, but one thing he noticed was that your smile didnt reach your eyes

"I lost (name) a few (weeks/months/years) ago. Ive been wanting to adopt another dog after (name)... but I just cant. I feel like Im replacing (gender)"

Thoma was mentally kicking and punching himself rn

How could he be so stupid

Of course this was obviously the reason why you rejected his suggestion

You were Beidou's good friend and she invited ypu to celebrate her birthday on the crux for the first time in years.

Kazuha saw you as you first set foot in the crux

Since its been months or maybe years since you both last had a conversation face to face, you obviously changed physically. But he hoped you havent turned into those crazy for knowledge scholars

"Lets get you cleaned up." He smiled. Fixing her hair that sticked onto her skin, she agreed to do so. Yelping as she felt her legs get off the matress .

"Mister zhongli!" She squeaked, zhongli carried ming yue bridal style, and straight to the shower. "...ungh" she scoffed with a smile.

Zhongli just hopes, his time with her woudnt be cut so short

AYATO ▪︎ pillar of fortitude

Ayato was called to the tenshukaku to meet up with Kujou Sara, future head of the Tenryou commission

When he first arrived there, from the corner of his eyes he saw you, sweeping up the floor near the entrance to the tenshukaku

When he wanted to get a full view of you, you were already gone

"Strange" he thought to himself before making his way to the Tenryou commission's headquarter

Few hours passed and the meeting came to a close

By then Ayato was already walking away from the tenshukaku

He was still thinking about the girl he saw from the corner of his eye

As if right in cue, you appeared again not in front of him no, but still in the tenshukaku walls watering the plants while humming

He looked behind when he heard a lovely voice coming from inside the Tenshukaku

And he saw you

You must be new because the head of the kamisato clan has never seen you once everytime he visits the Tenshukaku

Ayati stared at you for a while admiring your singing and what youre doing before he was brought back to reality by one of his bodyguards

"Lord Ayato? Is there something the matter?"

"Oh no" he whipped his head away and gave the bodyguard his signature smile "I just thought I forgot something"

Ayato thought that within a day or 2 he'd forget about you but boy was he wrong

For a whole week all he could think about was you

During boring meetings with his retainers, he'd daydream for a while and the first thought that would come to his mind, was your singing

Ayato never told any one of this

Not even his dearest sister Ayaka

He'll forget about you soon, he thought to himself, still convinced that one day he will just stop thinking about you

After a week or so the head of thr Kamisato clan was told (forced actually) to go out and get some fresh air by Ayaka and Thoma after burying himself with piles and piles of paperwork as usual

He decided to take a stroll out in Inazuma city and see the bustling markets which are usually full in the mornings

Ayaka and Thoma agreed to catch up with hin later as Ayaka had a meeting herself and Thoma was called in by Kujou Sara to teach someone about cleaning and housework

So the head of the Kamisato clan was finally walking in the streets of Inazuma, smelling the aroma of freshly cooked food

Admiring the people gathering up in all the stalls to by some vegetables and fruits

While he himself decided to buy boba as he waits

Not so long after he heard someone call out to him

Averting his focus away from watching a street food vendor making taiyaki,

He saw Thoma and Ayaka waving at him, and he saw a 3rd person hiding behind Thoma both hands on her thighs, smiling and looking down as if a sign to show respect

Ayato walked over to them and wondering who that person behind Thoma was

Her features were covered by Thoma so Ayati couldnt really tell

"My Lord sorry we took so long, I got so immersed in teaching her about cleaning and cooking I didn't see the time" Thoma started before moving away slightly to dully reveal who was behind him

"This is (name) the new housekeeper for the Tenshukaku, Kujou Sara wanted me to teach her the basics and the tips and tricks so I couldnt decline the offer"

Ayato's eyes widen a bit as he recognised you in an instant

He thought you looked more stunning face to face

you raised your head to make eye contact with him and bowed again once you introduced yourself "Hello Lord Ayato, I am (name), I hope you dont mind me coming here with Lady Ayaka and housekeeper Thoma, Thoma insisted that I come here to meet you"

Ayato loved how you spoke, it was gentle and soft, although something tells him that when you both get closer, your personality might change when you get comfortable around him

And he wants to be able to see just wnat lies behind your prim and proper self

"Hello (name) its a pleasure to make your aquaintance, I dont mind you coming here with my sister and Thoma, in fact I welcome you" he smiled

"So tell me, how did Thoma teach you? Was it good? Did you experience any discomfort?" He moved his body slightly and extended his arm out to the city as if to tell you to come take a walk with him as you both talked

You understood and started walking beside him

Ayaka and Thoma new a special bond was forming between the 2 of you

And they cant wait to see it bloom into something much more

Kaveh got a new client and of course of to work he was

He heard you wanted to make a house just outside of sumeru city

Kaveh thought it was a good idea as he doesnt really fancy the idea of building a big home in sumeru city, where there isnt a lot of spaces anymore

"Ms. (Name).... hm..." he looked at the letter you wrote to him telling him where to meet up and your name, trying to find out where you are at Puspa cafe

"Hi are you Mr.Kaveh?" A voice called out to him making him raise his head from the letter making eye contact with you

He froze in his spot looking at you eyes widen

The way your eyes met hin shyly and your brows furrowed slightly as if youre worried you got the wrong person makes you all the more cuter

"Uhm.. sir?" He flinched a bit and shakes his head

You blushed a bit at his words and smiled "oh uh yes I am and its quite alright I dont mind... and thank you, you got me worried for a bit. I thought I got the wrong person" you nervously chuckled

"My my, a beautiful name for a beautiful lady" he smiled "shall we get to work ms (name)?" Extending his arm to the chair in front of him, motioning you to sit down

"Oh yes of course!" You were starting to like him already, recieving such compliments in a way where he said it so casually makes your stomach flutter

You took a seat down in front of him and started discussing about your house and where you want it located

Soon minutes turn into hours and you both went from talking about your house to the akademiya to random silly things

You both didnt even realise the sun was about to go down

The only reason you both even realised was when a waiter asked if you both still wanted to stay for dinner or not

Stunned you both whipped your head out to the window to see, the sun going down

Kaveh and you looked back at each other and turned into a laughing fit

"Oh goodness have we been here all day?" You said between gasps of air

"Oh it seems like we have been here all day ms (name)" he replied laughing along

The waiter was confused asf

Mans not paid enough to deal with this😭

After Kaveh calmed down he looked at you and smiled "so how bout we order diner here as well? My treat"

"Oh no let's split the bill mr.Kaveh, I insist"

You both stayed for a little longer before Kaveh walked you home

"Lets do this again someday shall we?"

"Of course"

TARTAGLIA ▪︎ Childe

When childe first arrived in Liyue his first main concern was food

The man was hungry so he went to xinyue Kiosk

You were his waitress for the day and you did your job well

You just wanted to be paid 😭

He thanked you for your generosity, ate, paid and left.

That was the end of it and you both went about your day

Weeks have passed and Childe came back to Xinyue Kiosk

Lo and behold you were his waitress again

"Its been a while sir! Welcome back, what would you like to order?" You smiled taking your notepad in your hand, waiting to write down what the gingered hair man would like to order

"Hey again! Yeah i just really like the food here so of course I came back" he laughed "i dont know what I want, how about you surprise me hm? Give me 3 of your best dishes"

You nodded and began to write down "coming right up mr.tartaglia will that be all?"

"Yes indeed thank you again"

Same thing happened again, he ate thanked you for your the meal, paid and left

And a week passes by and he comes back again and again

However this time around was different

"Mr. Tartaglia welcome back, what would you like to order this time?"

He chuckles slightly and greets you "hello again ms (name), Im not sure, I really just miss eating Snezhnayan dishes if Im being honest"

"Oh... I see"

Silence ensued before you spoke again

"What are some dishes you miss from your homeland mr. Tartaglia?"

He looked at you for a while before smiling remininicing the time he ate local dishes from the land of snow "solyanka..." he started "my mother use to make me that when me and my siblings rolled around in the snow"

"What does it taste like?" You asked again curious

"Its a very filling dish, meat, mushroom and the best part is the soup. Made from pickled cucumbers and brine. God thinking about it makes my mouth drool" he laughed before changing the topic

"Anyways enough of that how about I order black perch stew yeah?"

You got so caught up with the conversation you forgot you were still working

"Oh yes of course, I'll get it right out asap sir"

You were determined to make childe solyanka

After all, his generosity towards the restaraunt was appreciated by everyone working

And youve formed a great bond with him over the several weeks he came by

It was the least you could do

Later evening you came by to the northland bank

You knew he worked there as the 2 of you chatted a bit about his work

You were hesitant to step in and the guard on stand by came to you

"Is there any assistance you require?"

You flinched a bit, the person was wearing a mask which freaked you a bit but you ended up mustering enough courage to talk

"Uh.. is mr. Tartaglia still here? Im a waitress from Xiyue kiosk and Im here to deliver a meal to him"

The guard stayed silent for a while before replying

"Im sorry if youre not here to take out money from the bank I cannot let you in however, Mr. Tartaglia is still inside I could take the meal from you and deliver it to him and-"

The door opened and you made eye contact with the ginger haired man

"Ms (name)? What are you doing here?" He asked, eyes widened

" Mr. Tartaglia!" You wanted to continue but you eyed the guard and stopped talking.

Childe followed your eyes and understood you were uncomfortable "please leave your post. Come back in a bit"

The guard nodded and left

You let out a sigh of relief and contined "I just wanted to deliver this for you. Personally made by me"

You handed him the bag of food and he took it, opening it

"Uhm. Its my first time trying to make the dish you described before so Im so sorry if it doesnt taste right..." you shyly continued.

"(Name) how did you... this smells amazing and looks exactly like how my mother made it" he looked at you again in awe

He was touched that you'd go as far as to make a dish from his homeland specifically for him

" I asked a few Snezhnayans around here about it, and asked one for a copy of the recipie. I wanted to thank you for your endless support and kindness on behalf of Xiyue Kiosk. And you missed your food from your homeland so.. I just-"

Childe came towards you and pulled yoy in for a hug, while still holding the dish in one hand

"Thank you so much. I'll treasure this. I owe you big time ms.(name)"

You hugged him back awkwardly and smiled "mr. Tartaglia its truly no problem!"

"Please, call me childe"

"Alright Childe, do call me (name) since were going on 1st name basis now"

After that, you watched as childe enjoyed his meal and talked for a bit

He'll be visiting you more often soon

And maybe ask you to hang out one day when you both are free :))
