Never Compare Yourself To Anyone Else. And I Dont Just Mean It In A Cliche Way.
Never compare yourself to anyone else. And I dont just mean it in a cliche way.
1. If you are an astrologer, just look at your birth chart and Vimshottari dasha. You will see how EVERYTHING in your life was already destined to happen. Relationships? Check. Abuse? Check. Good marks in exam? Check. Distant father? Check.
2. Have respect for individual souls. Everyone you compare yourself to has their own birth chart and everything that happens to them was destined to happen. Perhaps they were destined to get better marks than you. Embrace what you have and be grateful for it. Compete with yourself and who you were the day before. If you just keep overdoing yourself, perhaps one day eventually you will get the highest marks in exam too. It will only happen if you focus on your own efforts not somebody else.
3. Whenever you compare yourself to someone else, you are projecting something that resides within you. This is an opportunity to do shadow work. Now you can work upon uplifting your self esteem, find coping mechanisms, learn new skills and hobbies, use affirmations to stay positive, write journal. Other people are like mirrors and you can see yourself in them and identify yourself.
4. One thing I do is to look at my birth chart and see where most of my planets are located. I then see what areas of my life are controlled by those houses/planets/signs. This helps me focus on those things as priority. For eg, my birth chart shows focus on marriage (7th house), occult (8th house), humanitarian cause (11th house), communication (3rd house), hobbies (5th house). So, I dont worry about not having a social life, not having a solid personality (1st house), not going for higher education (9th house). I dont worry about being lonely since my personal planets are connected to 8th house.
Therefore astrology validates and confirms our personal experiences in life. it can be used to boost our self confidence and find self security.

MOON IN 8TH HOUSE/VENUS IN 8TH HOUSE HEALING ππ
1. If you have either of these placements, you would know how intense your feelings are. I have both of these placements and I have BPD. 8th house represents (in my understanding): mysteries, unpredictability, psychological destruction and rebirth, everything hidden, shocking, life transforming, challenging, losing everything and beginning again. This is a very challenging house.
2. After healing, the first thing I noticed was that I became gravitated towards 9th house subjects like philosophy, religion, spirituality, learning, higher education, studying, meaning of life, higher wisdom, divine power.
3. I also let go of all my bad habits easily: no more porn, no more binge eating, no more toxic behaviours, no more mindless entertainment.
4. I have become a very private person and spend most of my time in loneliness. Majority of my planets are connected to the 8th house or aspected by 8th house; once I internalized that my life is going to have the themes of 8th house, I surrendered to the higher forces and stopped resisting.
5. I am very spiritual and religious. I read about all religions. I was atheist/agnostic for a long time but then I switched to religion on my own. I dont have a guru. I research and figure out everything on my own.
6. My intuition is my friend. I am very intuitive and the calmer I am the clearer my intuition is. I do feel lack of friends and loneliness but I will not trade my natural gifts with any number of friends.
7. One major thing you should remember about 8th house is: LOSS. Loss of everything you have built. Loss of your life. Loss of your possessions. Loss of your body. Loss of everything that you hold dear. loss of everything. Death is the biggest loss. 8th house represents death. It is a very scary and painful house.
This is all for now.

I don't understand the appeal of songs and music. Perhaps it is my 8th house moon. My thoughts are obsessive repetitive addictive. Songs are like poison to me.
Firstly songs are made to be heard on repeat
Secondly my mind is obsessive addictive tendency
Thirdly combine the two and you get a giant mess
I hate songs. They make me go crazy
Now, songs are the product of many people's work. Many people are involved in the making of songs. Songs are profession. They may seem "enjoyable" to you but actually they are professions. People making songs are earning money from them. Why should I spend my time listening to something that is obsessive addictive AND makes money for somebody else?
Now, mental space. I have limited mental space. I have enough clutter to occupy my mind. Why should I keep songs and music in my mental space? It is just a noise that distracts me from my real life. It is like eating fast food for no reason at all. You can call fast food tasty, enjoyable, but it is just a garbage in my stomach. In the same way, songs are a garbage in my mental space. I will rather use that mental space to think about something that matters to me.
Next, I dance. I dance to seduce. This is the only reason why I listen to songs. I only listen to songs to dance and seduce like mating call. I am like a peafowl who dances to seduce her mate. This is when I listen to songs.
Lastly, songs are illusion. They are the illusions of rahu. Rahu creates the illusion of mind. Rahu creates ignorance and illusion. Rahu is maya.
INTENSITY and 8th HOUSE

If you have personal planets in 8th house, let us talk about INTENSITY because you probably know what I am talking about.
1. INTENSITY: OBSESSION, ADDICTION, SINGLE MINDED RUMINATION, DESPERATION, THIRST, DEPTH, VOID, BLACK HOLE, EMPTINESS, DARKNESS, VACUUM.
2. 8th house gives intense mysterious deep feelings. Months pass by and you are still obsessing over that one person. You dont even know why. Your mind gets stuck. You run in a loop. It is like your mind is trying to make sense of reality by obsessing over someone whom you knew few months ago. This is insanity. Who the hell obsesses over a random person for months? But you cannot stop it. You cannot end this mess. This is when you know you have some mental issue.
3. You dont just feel but you FEEL. You are probably Borderline (PD). You are the crazy ex girlfriend. You are the manic pixie dream girl. You feel the highest of highs and the lowest of lows. You spend days and days feeling ecstasy and sorrow like nobody else. You get sucked into your emotional black hole and when it emits you, you are REBORN.
4. Something in you dies when you are reborn. Perhaps some personality, some habits, some mindset change, some growth, some progress, self development, self improvement, you become a better version of yourself. This is what the 8th house does. If you have personal planets in 8th house, be ready for a life time of emotional transformations, regeneration, renewal, rebirth. Be ready for loneliness, like nobody understands you, solitude and inner work.

THE LEGEND OF 8TH HOUSE
First and foremost, 8th house is all about death AND REBIRTH. I am writing this from my limited understanding and hope it helps someone who's dealing with the similar issues as me.
1. What does 8th house mean?
Mysterious, hidden knowledge of the universe, shock factor, psychological destruction and rebirth, change of identity, sudden events, it is like walking in the dark.
2. What is identity change?
Either change of profession (lawyer turned yogi) / life changing surgery (cancer, cosmetic surgery, deadly accident - these are real life examples) / psychological rebirth (change of personality - I personally went from 3 year old to 63 year old after transformation; I became very mature and quiet) / loss of everything you have built (wealth, health, relationship) and then you are forced to begin afresh.
3. Is 8th house scary?
Very scary. But one thing is promised. PROMISED. it is rebirth. Whatever goes around comes around. 8th house kills any part of you AND forces you to be reborn. Once you understand the significance of rebirth you will stop resisting.
4. What is the significance of all this? Why can't I live a normal life? I dont want to "die and reborn".
Spiritual progress. It is the shortcut to spiritual progress. 8th house will reward you like nothing else. We often live in illusion that life is all about enjoyment and material pleasures. But we forget that we have been living since immemoria time and will go on to live for trillions and trillions of years. We have incomprehensible amount of karma. Human life is very special. If you're born as a dog in your next life, you can't read this post or do spiritual practices.
5. Are animals "spiritual" too?
Perhaps they are. Have you seen your pet dog sitting and staring into air or being dutiful or sleeping soundly. Animals have lower sensory intelligence than humans but they are not inanimate objects. My theory is that animals also earn spiritul growth and progress.
6. What is the significance of "spiritual progress"? Why do I have to do it? Why cant I simply enjoy human life?
Life gets hard. Everyone gets their turn. You might become a criminal/cancer patient/very poor/physically disabled/mentally disabled in your next life. You never know. So it is advisable to burn your bad karma and earn good karma when you have the time instead of simply wasting it on mindless entertainment and sensory pleasures. This is so that when the tragedy strikes, you will have help and resources to manage your problems. Otherwise it gets really challenging. Dont underestimate how much life can hit you. Life can eat you alive like a tiger if it wants so.
Mars in 10th house INSECURITIES

This is my observation of people having Mars in 10th house.
1. They are competitive, hard working, career minded, take pride in their capabilities. They are genuinely interested in work and career and like to deliver their best. What differentiates them from a regular worker is their ambition and passion to reach the heights of their career. They like to be seen as capable and deserving by their peers.
2. But God are they insecure! They are insecure that their profession is not good enough. They resent what they do not have. They feel inferior to those who are well off compared to them. It seems to me that Mars gives them the motivation and potential on the inside, but does not give them the suitable work on the outside. They are not where they want to be. They dont enjoy their job. They dont like it. But they wont show it.
