A Genuine Question For People With ASPD Or/and NPD
A genuine question for people with ASPD or/and NPD
People with ASPD (antisocial personality disorder) or/and NPD (narcissistic personality disorder), I am genuinely curious about what you believe is the core part of aspd and npd, and how you see the world. How does it feel to have these disorders? How do people treat you? How do you treat people? How can one understand how it must be like for you?
These disorders are VERY stigmatised. Even actual medical journals and sites perpetuate this stigmatisation, and there's this whole thing of "narcissistic abuse" or that all people with antisocial personality disorder are serial killers. I simply refuse to believe this, it's not nuanced enough, and I genuinely seek to understand. And maybe other people may find this thread of posts and also understand.
So people with npd/aspd, add on, explain anything you wish people knew about your disorder.
Coming from a fellow person with a highly stigmatised disorder (schizophrenia) who wishes to understand.

Imagine a new life with me, will you?
We live in a community of people who mostly know and get along with each other. Everyone has food and shelter. No one is cast out for non conformity. Even the newcomer can find friends.
Our homes will be colorful or dull or rococo or minimalist or any way we want them. A wheelchair can roll anywhere. Nowhere is too loud or too bright. There's a garden near every kitchen. There's no rent.
Our workplaces will be mostly for local needs. Most of us take turns between a few common jobs like making clothes and growing food. Some of us specialize their labor. Anyone can step aside for a break, because the work will be done and it won't break our backs. Everything we do is the art of existence.
Medical care is given as needed, but health is so much easier without overworking or poverty. Most disputes are settled with mediation at dinner, the rest by community arbitration. Kids are free and their parents respect that.
Does this life sound better?
Think we can make it real together?
Listen my dudes Ancient Egypt existed for a really fuckass long time. Literally just Pharaonic civilization lasted 3,000 years. That’s not even including predynastic civilization and Roman rule. If you lump that in you’re looking at more like… 5,000 years. Like. If you want a comparison of how long that is: THE YEAR IS CURRENTLY 2018. TWO THOUSAND. TWO-THIRDS OF ANCIENT EGYPTIAN PHARAONIC CIVILIZATION HAVE HAPPENED SINCE THE ‘BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST’ We comparatively just entered the Third Intermediate Period. The Greeks will not take over for another 700~ years. Cleopatra will not be born until the year 2931.
It’s a really long time guys.
Formerly Homeless people, do you have a habit of carrying a bag with you, with all of your important or even unimportant belongings everywhere you go?
Because I carry this specific bag with everything I need to survive with me everywhere I go, even to the next room in the place I live. Even when I am at home I still carry it around, even when I can simply go grab what I need from the next room. The reason for me is my days as a homeless person, where I never really knew where I was going to be the next day and I didn't really have a place to put my stuff, it was like travelling lightweight and never knowing where you were going to end up, so you carry all you need with you everywhere.
Don't do like I do, but I am horribly disorganised and keep my medicine at least 4 different places. And it's neither kitchen cabinet nor bathroom cabinet, but vaguely somewhere in my apartment and bag.
recently saw ppl discuss whether they put their medicines in a kitchen cabinet or a bathroom cabinet and i was shocked by the fact that many ppl said kitchen cabinet. so now i need you to reblog this and say where you keep yours
