The family-run Okonjima Lodge is nestled at the foot of the Omboroko Sandstone Mountains amidst acacia thorn fields in a malaria-free area. It is midway between Namibia's capital, Windhoek, and Etosha National Park - just a two and a half hour drive or a short flight to the reserve's private airstrip.

The Okonjima Nature Reserve is also famous for the frequent sightings of leopard, brown hyena and pangolin on its safaris, as well as for the AfriCat Foundation. Since its establishment in 1991, the AfriCat Foundation has made it its mission to make a significant contribution to nature conservation and to ensure the survival of Namibian carnivores in their natural habitat.

The National Marine Aquarium of Namibia is located in the coastal town of Swakopmund, wedged between Atlantic Ocean and Namib Desert. This recently overhauled waterfront aquarium provides an excellent introduction to the cold offshore world in the South Atlantic Ocean. Most impressive is the tunnel through the largest aquarium, which allows close-up views of graceful rays, toothy sharks and other little marine beasties.

Das National Marine Aquarium of Namibia befindet sich in der Küstenstadt Swakopmund, eingekeilt zwischen dem Atlantischen Ozean und der Namib-Wüste. Shingwedzi lies in the northern part of the Kruger National Park in the heart of mopane country. A scenic game drive along the Shingwedzi River in a south-easterly direction towards the Kanniedood Dam is one of the most rewarding drives in the Park. Waterbuck, nyala, kudu and elephant are often seen here and the bird life is prolific. Staying overnight at Shingwedzi is an experience that will last a lifetime.  It is a rustic camp that still carries the essence of the bush and is untouched by modern technology.
