Hey there!..how’re you doing? Are you me as message into the bdsm lifestyle? Send your response to
I’m not sure what you mean
What’s your “love language???”
!!VIOLENCE!!
Don’t fuck’n hug me! Draw your sword out and cut me! Let us duel, clash our hard steel together, just the tip! Gliding across flesh! Let’s stain the bedsheets crimson from carnal intimacy! Our scarred flesh a detailed patchwork of passion! Its not skin-deep, our bond cuts to the bone! Cleave our hearts open and rip them out, the useless organ only gets in the way. In death we shall be together forever more, in a cold, icy embrace
•car musings 666th, my version of “love” as I don’t feel that particular emotion but think about it a lot•
This is the gorgeous moth wing cape I bought from CostureoroReal on Etsy, you can see all the leaves have been added from even this shit poor angle. I still have more tweaking to do on the helm and hair, the hair isn’t as full as I would’ve liked and some of the helm is crooked. And I don’t like things that aren’t symmetrical, so that’ll have to be fixed. I shall endeavor to record my progress as I go on from this point, for whatever fans I have or gain from these posts. Thanks for viewing!
I’d say this was the early stages BUT that’s a damn lie, this was after some weeks of progress. The jaw bones and teeth were added, the antlers were added, the mask was changed into a helm, the muzzle was extended, the cape was added, the mane/hair was added, and the artificial fixings were added (partially). It’s hard to see from these horrible angles, but the cape part is added to underside of the helm and to the back of the helm. The hair/mane was braided fabric strips with the leaves and feathers sewn to the braids, then attached to a jewelry wire “weft” and attached to the back of the skull with thermal plastic.
I’ve added a lot more leaves and such since those pics were taken, I also have more to add. I recently found this gorgeous moth wing cape on Etsy that goes with the theme, so I bought it. And I have a type of shirt/shawl thing I’m going to sew the cape to help keep it secured better when I wear it. I plan on going to events with this on, Halloween, renaissance fairs, cons, and the like. I want to make sure the helm doesn’t slide off
Ok so I am quite SHITE at like posting content of my materializing endeavors, and crafting binges. My inspiration usually strikes randomly, and I become engrossed in the process and thinking of creative ways around problems. Soooooooo this little guy was teased in my last unload dump, this mask was going to be a part of sword staff. However this mask is small and dinky and the material is super thin and brittle, when I would squeeze it I’d hear cracking sounds. Then again I have orc strength so the mask material might be ok but for me it wasn’t durable enough. The mask is also too small and the straps in the back weren’t the best for wearing it securely, and I plan on turning the mask into a helm with artificial leaves, feathers, and some flowers attached to the “hair/mane” with a sort of cape.
So the steps I didn’t record was basically the complete deconstruction process of that ugly little mask, the ugly small antlers had to go, they weren’t symmetrical. The color is also displeasing, I’m going for a more white sun-bleached bone look. With bigger more sturdy antlers and the back of the skull added, so the mask is a helm. I also wanted to add lower jaw bones and fill out the upper jaw as the mask didn’t have either, I had to outsource the upper and lower jaws with a mask I got from the Halloween section of a store. The plastic was just as shitty, so it was reinforced along with the rest of the mask. I used the same thermal plastic beads to sculpt and extend the jaw, reinforce the whole mask, and attach the jaws and teeth
This is the blade drawn, it’s basically the top half of the tree. Almost seamlessly disguised, and it fits quite snuggly in the sheath. It won’t come out with a tug or from using it like a walking stick, you have to really pull it out. The hilt is quite heavy now, naturally, and has a guard. The longer handle on this sword lends nicely to the tree look, I didn’t have to add anything to extend the hilt length. I just covered what was there and added the twigs.
You can also see that skull mask, which is a sneak peek into my next project. Antlered deer skull helm, the helm of the horned god Cernunnos. Who is also in the comic I may one day get around to drawing! If anyone knows of a good drawing tablet with a built in screen let me know please, I’ve been looking at reviews but they’re just confusing really
This part took the longest as was the most finicky part, and it still is! The blade doesn’t slide back in smoothly, something catches it inside. So I’ll need to find a way to fix that issue when sheathing the sword. I achieved the bark like texture with a combination of techniques. Thermal moldable plastic beads I bought on eBay, which I then shaped with my hands and squeezed to the plastic texture. My hands are rough from landscaping and weapon training, so it feels like bark. The veins add a nice touch as well. I achieved that blended mottled bark color with alcohol based markers, which blend nicely. I colored the plastic when it was cold, it’s natural color being white, then heated it back up with a heat gun to set the color into the plastic and not just on the surface. I added some fake leaves from flowered I took apart for another project, and boom. A somewhat realistic sapling with a hidden blade
The early stages of a project, I had a katana from BudK I was in the process of customizing when the idea hit me. Disguise the sword to look like a sapling tree, so I started to apply and sculpt quickwood and steelstick epoxy putty. Many layers, I easily spent over $100. If it’s worth doing it’s worth over doing, it required many layers to get the thick sturdy coverage I wanted. The sheath is quite heavy, it also stands on its own. These pictures are months old, so I’ve finished this since then. I wanted to create a comic and draw it and color it and all that, I’ve named this sword “forest demon” as that was going to be the name of the sword in comic.
Side note, the katana is slightly longer than a regular katana, it’s not quite a tachi or Okatana. I also applied gun bluing to the blade, to make it black. I find black blades very beautiful. So I’m not sure what category it would fall into, the hilt was very long and full-tang, about 2 feet. So the branch and tree thing really seemed fitting
Is this tumblr still active?
As far as I know lol, any particular reason you’re asking?
This was one of a few early attempts at watercolor painting, I had intended to draw a small ball of flame at my finger tip and layer the colors so the flame still had that translucent look to it with smooth color gradients. Yeah, that didn’t happen! The paper I was using said watercolor but clearly not, that shit crinkled up like a Dorito and the colors bled
This is Pilum Murialis growing his fey tree weapon. I wanted him to look more predatory, not like the more deer looking firbolg I’ve seen. He has fangs, I just didn’t draw any open mouth sketches yet, I wanted him to have an apathetic expression like he just doesn’t care. He lives for the mission of keeping the green safe and the humans out of the fey wild. In my brain hole I decided to make a unicorn the ruler of the fey wild or at least a certain part of it. This unicorn has become ill from the humans destroying so much of the forests, he was tasked with the mission of killing the humans around the fey wild portals by the fey mother, doing so would help nature recover and the unicorn would regain his strength. (The dm had talked about the campaign taking place in some area where humans and other races had begun to industrialize, and they were destroying huge swathes of forest to lay train tracks to haul off the natural resources and what not. It was like a huge city building thing and all the pollution had started to poison nature. The firbolg clans had gotten sick as well and started to retreat further and further into the forests as they couldn’t handle all of those humans) I had decided that the fey wild kind of mirrored the world, not exactly but if a major change happened the fey wild would also be changed. And that’s what was causing the unicorn to become sickly and weak. I really would have liked to play with him and try out a completely evil character with a goal. But that never happened
The second sketch, the wings are open. My background for him was that he was born on Walpurgis night, which is an ill omen to the firbolg (made it up entirely) because the firbolgs born on those nights are clad in raven fur, and are generally evil natured. Which as a Druid in the firbolg community that’s a no no. So on those nights a fey being comes, to whisk those children away to the fey wild to be trained as guardians of the green. They are given a special seed from the fey tree (like the world tree, it’s the magical epicenter for the fey wild and keeps the veil that separates it in place, also completely made up!) this seed then grows into a weapon that can change form, a halberd/spear form with a petrified wood blade, a staff, a sword with hard thorn spikes that rip and tear and later apply poison, and a bow with arrows that sprout from the thorns he breaks off the bow (the bow string is giant spider silk, everything that lives on the tree becomes a part of it in a way. Like king from seven deadly sins who inspired this weapon!) he never received a name from his parents and has never met them. His name came from the fey mother, she raises all the firbolg children. So with no connection to his people or anyone aside from the fey mother and the green, he follows out his orders with no hesitation
This was another prototype sketch for a firbolg lawful evil Druid character for a campaign that never happened because everyone I played with sucked. Anyways, his name was pilum murialis. The nettle in the darkness or thorn in the darkness. His outfit was made from the silk of giant spiders in the fey wilds, and given its connection to strong fey magic, the wings unfold when strong magic is nearby. Normally it looks like a kind of poncho wrapped up. He wears flexible leather thigh high leggings?? Leg warmers?? And forearm length arm warmers?? And like a leather vest/tank top. I wanted him to look sleek as he primarily acts as an assassin killing humans and others that threaten the green. He doesn’t kill children tho, as children can learn to respect and honor the green. Their parents, not to much.
The last drawing of the prototypes, I liked this one but he didn’t have the whip so I had to draw it again. He needed that THIC vibe so I drew him with my thunder thighs, and that did the trick! I decided to take the wings off the neon pink heart, it was already gay enough
This is a colored sketch of the threadbare monk/priests robes, I added the red ribbon to kinda hint to where the red ribbon came from in his whip. And I added that little golden medallion he stole from the church, he had a few of them melted down to form the metal tip on his whip. He keeps the whip hidden inside the robes, wrapped around his waist. When he pulled it out the first time I described it like this to the party “he sensually tugs the strings keeping the chest portion of his tattered and threadbare robes loose with both hands, and pulls the fabric open. He slides his hand down the front of his robes, licking his lips he smiles a tusk filled grin. Fondling around in his robes he moans”- at this point the dm said a goblin was on a ledge over me getting ready to attack-“I pull my hand out quickly, with a flourish as a length of whip follows. I lash it upward”-mad an attack roll, 13 plus whatever the modifier was for a finesse weapon and rouges-“I snatch that little bastard and yank him down, CHEEKY! Interrupting my performance like that, now where are the bugbears and hobgoblins?! I dare say those men need my attention darling!” It was then that the dm told me that the goblin was dead and didn’t hear anything I said. I snatched him off a 30 foot ledge and he died when he hit the floor. Of course the party ignored my whole performance of taking out my whip, and no one asked why a monk/priest would even have a whip. No no no, they all asked how and why my whip was so long, clearly my talents were wasted on them
And this is the last prototype, but it’s basically the final form of the outfit. The long hair sleeves add that dramatic touch, inspired by bayonetta’s outfit in the first game. I also went with a bun since bayonetta had that cool wrapped hair cone in the first game, I wanted to capture that same vibe.
This is a sketch of Grougo in the monks/priests threadbare hooded robe. I didn’t know what hairstyle he’d have, but since you can completely manipulate the hair length on vecnas scalp, almost any style is possible. So I went with the one I have in real life, shaved sides and the rest is long. I like longer eared orcs after I saw a pic of one, so that’s why his ears are longer than orcs ears usually are
This was another prototype, you can see the outfit has more or less taken shape, I prefer my characters barefoot as I don’t like shoes all that much. But he really needed combat heels to sell that THIC slut vibe I wanted. I added more bulk, but he still lacked them thic curves. The giant weapon was from a 1 off campaign, it was one of those hallway swinging axe trap things, I rolled a nat20 and ripped it out the wall. So it became weapon for that character. In my mind I always pictured Grougo snaring someone with the whip then slicing them with some huge weapon. He mostly got to that point, except with the sword of kaz
This was a prototype for my D&D character, I was playing with designs and proportions. I wanted to go for a male half orc version of bayonetta, with the thickness. But the legs and arms ended up being too slender and the outfit covered up more than it revealed oddly enough. I was playing around with magic circles to summon his whip and sword but ended up going a different rout altogether
This was my most recent D&D character, his name is Grougaloragran Kaldur ‘ahm Malathuh ‘ahk Kara Kesh, those he considers close friends or lovers can call him Grougo. He’s a 312 year old half Orc, rouge (assassin) I think and warlock (pact of blade, his pact weapon is the sword of kaz). His backstory is kinda long, his mother was human, she wasn’t a Druid but she would practice Druid rituals. They lived in a very religious part of the city (I’m not very familiar with the names of most places in D&D because I rarely have the chance to play. The city started with a V like vasilheim or something) the church didn’t like nonhumans so they approached grougo’s mother with the intent to punish her as a witch or they could take her son and turn a blind eye to her “witchcraft” and being the wonderful mother she was, she gave her son to them. He was spirited away to the churches basement cells, where they began their experiments. Elves trying to contact the queen of blades had the idea of using Vecna’s artifacts to open a means of communication. They had in their possession Vecna’s scalp, which they attached to the young half Orc, after scalping him prior, and began the ritual. In the process of using him as a conduit his soul was lost to the void, claimed by some unknown entity. The ritual failed and he was placed in a cell and forgotten about for years, losing his soul had caused him to become a revenant-like being (I think that’s how the DM explained it. Grougo triggers templars who can sense undead tho he really isn’t dead) his skin grew pale and the telltale white streak from Vecna’s scalp was there. In the hundreds of years to follow Grougo created a 30 foot whip, woven from hair on Vecna’s scalp and decorated with a red ribbon that was part of a banner for the queen of blades (the bronze embellishments were added later after he escaped, he stole many religious figures and he’d them melted down). He then fled the city in nothing but a threadbare hooded priests robes, hiding his face and tusks and white streaked hair was important. With his pale skin, he more or less looked human. That’s when he joined the party, and after 312 years locked up in old church basement he was ready to get laid. During the parties adventures Grougo often didn’t need to spend any coin on lodgings, he would seduce some man that struck his fancy with a lucky nat 20 and stay with him for a few nights. Pesky guards not letting the party into the city, Grougo is on it! A short trip behind some shrubs and the party can continue the quest. Later on Grougo started having strange dreams, about a sword and revenge against Vecna. A trip back to the abandoned church and into the cells below, revealed a hidden room where the sword of kaz lie chained down. I reimagined what the sword would look like, the pictures I saw looked kinda boring for a magical sentient vampire sword. The hearts are Grougo’s flavored eldritch blasts, he blows heart shaped kisses that explode on contact and sound like a tongue pop. His outfit in this pic I drew is inspired by bayonetta, it’s Vecna’s hair turned into clothes. And he found those combat heels off a previous enemy, he sounds like a joke to most people when I describe him but he’s very reliable and versatile in combat
