an isolated society running extremely fast-paced due to its separation from the outside world, with events that would typically take years irl only taking mere weeks? the idea of respawning and killing mobs? experience gaining and crafting and building and inventories? going back to the whole isolated society thing, how having such low numbers translates to what's considered large-scale operations being pathetically small in comparison to those we're familiar with?

the different directions you can take it is actually super cool (never knowing if the life you just lost is canon or not, being able to summon items in and out of your hands as an accepted part of reality, etc. list of possibilities are endless) and i wish more people took the time to write about them.

allow me to take a few seconds of your time so i can talk about my fundy aging system

similar to irl canines (link thingy for science), fundy ages rapidly during the earliest years of his life, i.e. childhood and early teenage years. once he reaches around 14-15, things start to slow down a bit. by 19, he's aging at rates that line up pretty nicely with that of a normal human. at some point in his 20s, his age rate actually slows in comparison to that of a human's, and it just gets slower from there (what? an excuse to give fundy an extended lifespan? you're crazy). and none of this is even getting into the wild thing that is his brain chemistry, dna, mental age, how his heritage ties into all of this..
