Knowing that Ted keeps his identification in his back pocket in TGWDLM means that it is entirely possible that the homeless man still has his ID card. Though, I believe if someone were to find it somehow, both the name and picture would be incredibly faded and scratched out just as extra proof that he will always just be the homeless man.
