Comparing Kanej to a mafia romance should be illegal. Mafia romances have toxic men that gets into toxic relationship which is ultimately unhealthy for the poor love interest. Kanej has a twisted, crooked, wrong, but not so broken man that is willing to pull himself together into some semblance of a man for his love interest. They’re not the same
