Do y’all know what absolutely terrifies me? The fact that Luke was described as someone really handsome in the books. And if the casting directors would do an accurate job at casting the actors, that means the person that would act Luke would be good looking (luking :>). And that would result to the people liking him despite him being an absolute ass. There would also be a bigger impact if the actor they cast is a famous one (and there’s kinda a huge possibly that might happen) cause then they’d end up liking him cause like, they already initially like the actor. And I’m not ready for that

Now that the cast for the PJO trio is announced, I just wanted to remind everyone that we are not going to bully these kids just because they don’t have fit the physical description in the books or because they’re not what you pictured them to be. Hair dyes, Wigs, contact lenses and CGI exists. It’s not that big of a deal. Plus, we’re finally having diversity and y’all should not be little shits about it

I hope we all recognize that Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries, Aryan Simhadri, and the rest of the upcoming casts are literal children and we are not gonna be acting like creepy freaks and do inappropriate shit and we are most definitely not going to harass these kids

I love how the casting announcement of Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson woke up the entire PJO fandom

It’s just heartwarming to see all these people so happy that they’re part of the community can finally get the representation that they deserve. Thank you, Rick Riordan for giving us a diverse and amazing cast

I absolutely love Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth chase. I think it’s fantastic that we have a black person as the main character in a big upcoming series. But, I’m kinda sad that we can’t get to see what rick meant by “princess curls”. Oh well, we can replace it with dreadlocks

The fact that people are acting as if a black girl wouldn’t be able to understand the struggle of being stereotyped as dumb is beyond me

The PJO series raised an entire generation of kids which have now aged. And now, these people, the people in the fandom of the early years of Percy Jackson, are gonna watch as the PJO Disney + series is soon going to raise a new generation of kids

This is it guys, it’s finally happening, filming for the PJO Disney + has officially started and we’re going to get behind the scenes and posts of the cast together, and hopefully small videos of them goofing around on set. I am so so ready for the fandom to freak out whenever one of the cast posts something with their co-actor or about something in set. I am ready for it all

I’m sorry but I literally don’t understand how some people don’t like the PJO casting. They’re all fucking perfect. Like, what’s there not to like???
