@mogai-knifefight-main in a stroke of hilarious fate (or you regretting your little reply spree and doing the dirty delete of shame) none of your comments are showing up on my actual posts, only little snippets in the activity log.
But I'll just do you a favor and reply to them all in one go:

i just wanna say thank you for having this blog as someone who is profic (i hesitate to call myself proship bc of the modern connotations (despite having a few "proships" myself)) who like, ACTIVELY DISLIKES most problematic shipping tropes like age gaps and incest. i dont like it. but yknow what i DO like? ignoring it. blocking people. staying in my lane. your blog reminds me of simpler fandom times when ship and let ship was the norm. i miss it.
Living in the era where we're radicalizing everything again is exhausting. I'm happy you have this space as a harbor from the storm ❤
I know I get rant-y and a little bitchy sometimes but the point of this blog and its general content will always be the same, and so will my core viewpoints. Ship and Let Ship is the foundation of modern fandom spaces and shipping communities and its about time we went back to our roots and remembered our history.
That said, it does make me sad that anti propaganda has worked so well that people are gravitating away from certain labels because they're scared of how it'll be perceived.
First and second are the most popular when it comes to reader insert fanfiction, and first and third, although third dominates, are the most popular when it comes to character fanfiction.
I've found that first person is a lot more common in RPF fanfiction, but I still get the odd few crop up when I'm scouring character fanfiction. Most notably in DC or Marvel.
E.g; works can be marked by the style of perspective written in and also searched by or filtered by the perspective written in.
I ask because I am someone who absolutely never reads first person literature, and often I come across fanfiction where the summary is in third person but once you click on the fanfiction the entire story is in first person POV. Its only a mild annoyance, but as far as features go its one that I, myself, would find very beneficial.
I want you to know that if you advocate for genderless fashion and aesthetic and believe men can wear skirts, makeup, be feminine, ect and it doesn't 'mean anything' but then automatically assume and/or insist a man is queer in some way just because he does so, I am mentally beating you to death with a stick.
By the way if you follow accounts on Instagram and Tumblr dedicated to sharing a huge quantity of fanart, especially about one thing in particular and with a huge range of art styles, 99% of it is stolen.
They call themselves "fan accounts" and "sharing accounts" but that's just shorthand for; "I steal other people's hard work and art so I can repost it and farm clout."
You'll usually see, at the very bottom of the caption, something like: Credit to creator. DM for credit. By ____
I implore you, no matter how good the art is, please don't feed into them. If you actually look into the people they're stealing from you'll usually find the original artist both doesn't allow reposts and isn't even aware that their art has been stolen.
They do not care about artists. Only how their art can benefit them.
By the way, absolutely nobody is telling you that you can't dislike something or never ever talk about disliking something. What we are saying is to stop fucking battering ramming into spaces intended for the people who do and shouting your dislike at the same volume as a fucking jet engine.
It can be as simple as using an 'anti' tag instead of just the common tag.
Every goddamn day I see people deliberately pushing their hate and negativity into spaces literally constructed around people liking something and then lashing out and whining when people tell them to gtfo and its like, nope. They have a point. You don't walk into a smoothie store just to bitch about how much you hate smoothies.
There are places for positivity and places for negativity. If you stay in the one you belong to, nobody is going to silence you.
