Antis who spread around child porn and rape videos and graphic depictions of animal abuse, including actively tagging a victim in her own rape tape and trying to send it to her family and employers? Antis who have actively threatened to correctively rape victims? Antis who have physically harassed and stalked innocent people?

@justanimp just wondering. Because if you'd rather 'stand with antis' because of your trauma... You should know antis will not protect you. Antis don't care about your real life trauma as much, or more, as they do what people are doing online. Antis will turn on you the moment they think you are no longer a useable tool to their narrative.

If you think proshippers 'refuse to acknowledge the harm they cause' then do I have news for you about the anti community.

Because pornography is still plot. Plot is merely the actual storytelling part of writing something. Plot is what happens within the story.

If my plot is the fact that my fourteen year old character rides my fifty year old character (hello, Starker) off into the sunset like the Lone Ranger's Silver, then that is the plot of my story.

What matters is that in real life, if I discovered a fourteen year old was sexually involved with a fifty year old, I would call the police.

Because one is fictional and one isn't. And we're capable of separating the fact that something that's enjoyable in concept isn't necessarily enjoyable (or morally sound) in reality.

imo theres a HUGE difference between writing incest and pedophilia as part of a story's plot and writing incest csa erotica, but coincidentally proshippers always seem to cite well known and popular stories that fall into the first category as reasons to be proship while they themselves always seem to write and indulge in the second category. why are those two things assumed to be comparable at all. theyre really not.

Yes. Its okay if you don't reblog that death count post to your Marvel fanblog. Yes, its okay if you need to turn your phone off for the day so you're not staring at horrific headlines. Yes, its okay to not join in a conversation or to move away from a conversation if you need to.

Needing to appropriately manage your mental wellbeing is not the same as being wilfully ignorant or uncaring.

Just a warning for anyone in the Ateez fandom who might be using Omegle, apparently its the latest tag in a number of fandoms (and seemingly, specifically kpop fandoms) to be under fire from a pretty vile bot.

The anon who brought this to my attention mentioned it just disconnects the second you send a reply, so my best advice would just be to immediately disconnect or use an alternative tag like the fandom name (Atiny) instead of Ateez.

Its highly unlikely the person programming these bots is into kpop at all; they're simply big enough fandoms to be easy targets with a wide potential reach. Please do not take this as an opportunity to instigate unrest with other kpop band fandoms.

And you people call pro-shippers unhinged and depraved and immoral. You chose to stalk her and expose yourself to her content. You are the only foul person to blame in this situation.

For both your sakes, just change groups and pretend she doesn't exist. She has every right to do as she pleases on her personal devices, and you have every right to not interact with her.

And on a personal note? I hope she finds this post and reports you.

There is a pro shit weirdo assigned to be in my group for a project in one of my grad school classes. I could scream. I know she's a pro shit because she writes on Ao3 during class. I managed to snag her user and it is something else! And not in a good way.

At this point, Imma just smile and nod. I don't have the energy to confront her, but I literally would not care if she died in a car crash.

If an author removes their work from AO3 you do NOT have the right to re-upload it. It does not belong to you. It was removed. You do not have the authority nor ownership to decide what happens to it.

I am getting genuinely incensed by the amount of works I'm seeing being re-uploaded by so called "fans" because it was removed by the author. Does it suck that a piece of work you enjoyed was removed? Absolutely.

But its not your right to decide to re-upload it. If the author removed it, they did it for a reason, and they shouldn't have to fight you for the right to decide that they no longer want that work available to the public.

"But they can just let me know they want it removed!" Newsflash. They did. When they removed it in the first place.
