So I tried to reblog this a bit ago and it didn't work, which was lucky bc I forgot I was logged onto my main (where I am much less open about being otherkin.) What I intended to say was:

On one hand the last thing I want to be is scary, but something deeply draconic in me absolutely agrees. Yes, I am the creature of the deep, I want to be acknowledged as that!!

And I went on a fun little ramble in the tags, because I so desperately want to build up a wardrobe of clothes I've made/found/bought that make people do a double take when they see me not because I'm pretty but because "what is THAT THING and how the fuck did it crawl its way outta the ocean???"

Thing is. Uh. The reason that's not in the tags in this post like it was in the original draft is because I immediately sort of froze, because I just called myself "it" and didn't even notice because it felt right. I'll make a proper post on it later, probably, as well as post it to my main, but uh...

UGH y'know what I'm gonna admit it:

I wish I could make silly little dragon noises. Like, idk something about being able to make inhuman sounding noises particularly makes me happy. Part of it is because they would be great vocal stims, too! There's just... one problem with that.

My voice never does what I want it to!!! ever!! I've had lots of reminders lately that I don't sound right in my brain. Not just the gender aspects, but like- I should be able to make noises! I should be able to have a much wider vocal range than I do. Not in pitch, but in like.... idk, flavor? I should be able to make a bunch of different sounds and I'm not. I'm hoping that doing voice training for gender reasons will help with that, since I'll actually learn to have some control over my voice. I'm just feeling particularly salty about it today, and wanted to throw it into the void since I know some other alterhumans will probably be able to relate.

Adult otherkin/alterhumans pspspspspsps my mom has Tumblr now but she's an adult (old enough to have a 20 yr old son) and a lot of the otherkin community are minors. Bonus points if ur polymorph/gryphon/angel kin but absolutely any otherkin can interact.
