Summary: Yibo, the legendary actor from the Chinese drama The Untamed had finally been cast in a Korean Drama. What happens when he meets this recently debuted Idol, and finds them interesting. Will he act on his interest?

Even before your trainee and pre-debut days you've wanted to become an idol plus actor so when your manager brought you an acting gig you jumped into action. Since then it's been a progressive journey, with your group's performances and comebacks you barely managed, but it made you happy.

"Y/n! Come on, leave the script alone, please just practice one last time before you leave. You can rehearse it more on the way anyway!" You leader Aera called out. You huffed and kept it inside your bag.

"I really need to get this gig okay!" You said and jumped into position for the practice of the b-side track of your next comeback.

Sweaty and out of breath you collapsed on the ground. "Y/nie?" Nix you other group members asked.

"Yes?" You asked to support the upper-half of your body on your elbows.

"Why are you so desperate for this one?" She asked

"I bet one of her favourite actors is in it? Who is it?" Flora asked. You shook your head and said "I really want it okay, One, it's a good role and two it has good screen time".

Well, lets say the auditions wasn't really difficult.

"Y/N UNNIE!!!! Y/N UNNIE?!" Soojin came running to you, "The Turn Tables! That's your drama right?!! You made the lead supporting?! There's Wang Yibo!" She huffed and spoke, excited and out of breath.

"What?! How did you know?!" You asked.

"Uh, Soompi" she said "Why didn't you tell us!" She groaned. "I wanted to surprise you guys!" You said

"Wait what?" Flora, who was chilling on her side of the bed asked "Aren't you excited?"

"Excited! I feel like I'd throw up not gonna lie" you said.

"Why? Why would you throw up?" A familiar voice said from the door behind Soojin.

"No what are you two menaces doing here?" Flora asked

"Hey I was invited" Yunho protested

"How did you even imagine to do this without me?" Wooyoung said wiggling his eye brows.

The two took a seat on your bed as Soojin walked out and Flora put on some headphones and said "Don't mind me, I'm gonna nap".

You had called Yunho as he's done romantic roles before and this was your first time. So, Wooyoung helped you run the lines as Yunho guided you better.

"Make your eyes a bit big as you say that" he told you and you nodded your head.

All of you were actually trainees together, specially you Wooyoung, Yeosang and Flora were together even before joining KQ at Bighits. From there, being KQ trainees and then KQ Chicás, you all have come a long way.

And here you were standing infront the elevator in the TV station trying to calm your nerves, when your manager said "Y/n, Look sharp"

You looked up to find Wang Yibo and whom you assume to be his manager walking straight towards you. Your primary trance broke as they stood infront of you both and the two managers greeted eachother.

"Hello sunbaenim, I'm Y/n from Enigma" you bowed and said.

"Hello, I'm Wang Yibo" he bowed back and smiled.

"You're doing the role a Yerin? Right?" The manager asked you. You nodded.

"You have many scenes together, get along well okay" he told you both as Yibo passed a small smile.

"Um, I don't know much people around, how's the Director?" He asked

"Ah, she's very nice and chill, as long as you remember your lines" you said and smiled.

"That's good to know. Lets work well" he said bringing up a fist and said "HWAITING!"

To say you were flustered was an understatement, being in front of Yibo itself short circuited your brain plus the conversation, damn. His smile was so much cuter in reality. You felt your heart melting and that wasn't good for you.

This was the start of a budding friendship between you and Yibo, and you looked forward to the schedules. Because it was a crime and action series it took more time to shoot, as you had fights and chases but you liked them.

The day of your 1st fight scene a few of your members and friends came to cheer you. Hence you found a worried Nix and Aera and a very excited Yeosang and Wooyoung.

"Beat some!" Wooyoung cheered as Aera glared at him. After your scene, Nix, Yeosang and Aera went as they had schedules, but Wooyoung decided to stay back as it was an indoor shoot anyway. Yibo and you had a joint fighting scene which led to you both saving the main female protagonist who was taken by the villains you were "fighting".

"Ackh" you fell to the ground as the charecter fake pushed you and you were thrown on Yibo. And the director shouted "cut". But that moment that Yibo held you and your eyes connected, your heart almost jumped out of your chest.

"I saw that" Wooyoung teased

"What?" You asked as your makeup artist ran up to you to touch up and the fx make up artist came to touch up your fake cuts and bruises.

"You know" he said wiggling his eyebrows "Introduce me? Please"

"No!" You said blushing and looking away

"I swear if you don't, I'll post that picture of yours that I took yesterday while you were eating!" He said laughing

"That's blackmail you bitch" you snickered and motioned him to follow you.

"Sunbaenim" you went up to him.

Wooyoung could see from afar how his eyes almost lit up at your sight.

"Yes, Y/n ssi?" He answered

"My friend here wanted to meet you" You said shyly.

"Hello, I'm Wooyoung from Ateez. It's nice to meet you" Woo said bowing.

"Hello, I'm Wang Yibo." He said and they shook hands.

"Huge fan, of your music and acting" he said

"Ah, trust me I also love your music, KQ really has very good artists and music" he complimented and You knew it was meant for you as well and you smiled.

And even though Wooyoung was a catalyst, after that moment you and Yibo spoke more often and in between shoots y'all were generally found chatting. You even introduced your other members to him. The whole cast along with the main female lead Solbin were all sweet to you and you all were like friends. Wooyoung often visited the site and he had quite the friendship with Yibo considering they both were filled with Gremlin energy. The three of you have also been to grab coffees and had lunches together, with Solbin tagging along too at times.

Yibo genuinely enjoyed your company, and your personality made you easier to talk to. You? You loved talking and joking around with him. Currently you were laughing at how he brought out the handkerchief from his coat pocket and was "cleaning" his fake gun. Just what goes on inside his head?

You were sleeping as you still had time for the next shot, the comeback and shooting was getting to you. But you had to do it, you felt something warm being draped over you. You open your eyes lightly to see Yibo, draping his coat over your sleeping form. His heart dropped seeing you so tired but he knew this is your dream and you've gotta keep going on. He wished he could be beside you for all those times to come. He loved talking to you, he loved the way your eyes lit up when you talk about your passions and your friends.

You were woken up later for your scene, you found Yibo's jacket drapped over you which brought a smile on your face. It smelt like him, his manly smell and cologne. You were informed of the next scene and you winced, it was the scene where your charecter Yerin sees Yibo and the female protagonist kiss and finally decides to move on. You had go watch him kiss. Well even though its acting even the thought pulls your heart strings, after all your celebrity crush is now your actual crush, and who would like to watch there crush kiss someone else.

"Action" the director yelled and the scene rolled, you walked down the corridor and were about to call Suho (Yibo's charecter) but stopped to find them kissing, you knew all this wasn't real, you knew this was acting but you couldn't stop the tears stinging your eyes threatening to fall. The director gave counts "three, two, one" and you kept stepping back with every count and "run" you ran away from there.

"And Cut!" The director shouted. "Very good Y/n!" He said as you lightly wiped your tears.

"You're okay?" you heard Yibo's voice

You nodded your head.

"Ah our poor Y/nie must be so tired" Solbin said "You did good"

"Thank you" you said bowing not being able to meet anybody's eye. But you could not ponder on that thought for long.

Soon the stylist walked up to you with a huge spray bottle and you went "Wow! Whats that for?" You asked.

"this is your last scene for today, the rain scene remember?" She said and you nodded. Yes, today was the day you'd meet the actor who would be Yerim's love interest. You couldn't remember who it was, well guess you'll meet him in the shoot it self.

Once the artificial rain was on, the director started rolling "POSITIONS, ACTION!"

You ran out and walked off looking downwatds as the script said suddenly you collided with someone, "Oh sorry" he said as you looked up to find Cha EunWoo. You kept following the script, and kept looking into his eyes and he looked at yours, the counts were given before the scene proceeded, with his charector Woosik, seemingly helped you get a cab. As soon as the camera got cut you went to greet Eunwoo. "Oppa! Hi" you called.

"Hi Y/nie! You were good" he said

"You aced it too" you said.

You stood there for some time talking to him, about your current activities. Unknown to you both Yibo's eyes were glued at the two of you, watching closely at the way the two of you were talking to each other. He rushed after you as soon as he watch the two of you bid farewell.

The shoot was over for the day, you were about to leave when, you heard "Y/n! Y/n! You have promotions right?"

"Yess Op- gege" you told him. You've always called him after je asked you not to call him 'sunbae'

"Can i come with you?" He asked

"Umm... Ok. It's in this building anyway" you said.

"Yes. And Y/n call me Oppa instead" he said with a smirk. You were left with a flustered face.

"What's he doing with you?!" Aera asked

"He is not WITH me! He's just here" you debated as the others shook their heads. The crew of the show took over and provided him with a seat, he was with a mask and cap so it wasn't much of a hassle in any way when he entered with your managers and took a seat behind the cameras.

Soon the show started and Yibo's eyes went wide to see the MC. Damn he's everywhere, Yibo thought. To say he was amazed to watch you dance, sing and rap was an understatement. He really loved the hip-hop style your team used instead of general bubble-pop. He actually followed your songs and progresses since before debut but seeing you up close, his bias was something else. And now that he knows you in person he's almost proud of you. However, the way he tightened his fist every time you and Eunwoo interacted, be it during the interview or side glaces and smiles was visible to anyone who was looking and in this case someone was looking. It was true seeing you even look at Eunwoo pulled at his heartstrings, he hated the way Eunwoo looked at you.

"Oppa, Yibo Oppa" You called out as you found him leaving. Yibo stopped in his tracks at the name you called him, his heartbeating fast.

"Can you do a tiktok with me? Our dance challenge?" You asked when turned to look at you. He nodded. The two of you came to the place where most idols shoot their tiktoks. Only for Yibo to find Eunwoo wait there, probably for you. At least you're not doing it alone with Eunwoo. You showed them the steps of your song as your Manager stood there to record it when asked. You showed them the steps as the two followed and after practicing it twice, you shot it. Thanking the two, all three of you went to you're own ways.

The next day you met a chirpy Yibo who told you "I liked dancing with you, can we do it again like hangout and dance and we could grab a coffee. If you're free sometime" he said

"You will have to teach me your Swalla routine then" you said.

"Deal" he said with his signature smirk.

So, you were waiting at the KQ dance studio, you were wearing some loose cargo with a loose top and a cap. Messing with your phone and decided to post a selfie for your fans, putting a cute caption you did that and as if on queue Yibo entered.

"Hey!" He said and sat beside you on the floor.

"Nobody stopped you right?" You asked

"Nope, but your manager said, I'm welcome here" he said and ruffled your hair.

"Ah Hanguang Jun!" You whine

"Oh god! No!" He laughed

"Oh yes!" You said and stood up, followed by Yibo.

He taught you step by step and you caught on to them fast because you're a fast learner and you've watched the video a million times.

"You're good Lady L/n" he said with a smirk and your heart skipped a beat. After an hour of messing around you filmed the end result dance with Yibo.

That was when an idea struck you and you said "Do you remember the choreo to Falling in love?"

"Yeah somewhat" Yibo nodded

"Let's do it" you said propping him up.

You both took a video reference from youtube to recall the steps and practiced the choreo a good few times. When done the two of you popped on the floor, laughing and exhausted.

Watching you dance made him feel some type of way, you looked so adorable in the baggy dress and so beautiful without make up. He felt himself falling for you more and more. He doesn't know what to do? He has not felt this in a long time, this pull and longing, he can't not act on it.

"I love doing this with you" he side glanced at you and said.

"Me too, it's good to dance with someone else other than my members and Ateez. I'm glad it's you" you said and smiled.

That was when Yibo said he had a video choreo he wanted to try.

"Would you be comfortable?" He asked.

"Yeah I am" you said with flushed cheeks. Who wouldn't want to be close to their crush when the said crush wants it himself.

And you obliged, it was your first time with that kind of dance, but the thrill was killing.

You tried to copy, step by step, memorising them and synchronising your moves. You could swear your heart almost leaped out of his chest each time he drew near.

It was the same with Yibo, looking into your eyes for permission, he held you. Somehow, you, right there in his arms felt so good to him, it felt so right. You lost count of how many times you both got lost into each other's eyes and missed beats. But ultimately, you made it.

After filming that and sharing contacts you both decided to get coffee as you were met by a smirking Yeosang and Yunho on the way.

Soojin knew you had an awesome day the moment she found you at the door smiling ear to ear. You told her everything, starting from how you openly fangirled on his acting as Lan Zhan and his pair with Xiao Zhan which made him blush so red. To how you had a moment when dancing so close. How, even having his hands on your waist was so comfortable for you. What she noticed was how you were falling more and more for Wang Yibo.

"Really? 7 times?" Yibo asked in shock

"Yea. I just love the whole series. You're chemistry and acting was so on point" you said

"Hey hey!" You heard Wooyoung's voice in a sing song.

"Don't you have schedules?" You asked

"Nope, I'm free today, so I came to cheer you" he said making fists.

"I told nobody to come. It's embarrassing!" You whinned

"It's ok Y/n-ah. You'll do great" Yibo said.

"Were you talking about your unhealthy obsession with Untamed?" Wooyoung asked.

"Shut it" you said. Soon Solbin came to join y'all as you were called for a scene. It's the scene you've been dreading, the scene in Woosik's office, the kiss scene.

"Wah not just Eunwoo sunbae even Y/n is so good in acting" Solbin said and got up to get inside when Wooyoung spoke up.

"Acting isn't as difficult for Eunwoo hyung, that's the natural way he looks at Y/n" Wooyoung said, only to find Yibo with gritted teeth.

On the other hand, Eunwoo stood up and pinned Y/n against his desk and they got close, closer too close. And right then Eunwoo closes the gap.

"Y/n, stay stiff" the director kept saying "Soft, soft and hold" and you held Eunwoo's collar pulling him in closer. Tears formed into Yibo's eyes, he knew this was acting but hell, did it hurt. Wooyoung notices his gritted teeth and tightened fist, just as last day.

"Hyung you should tell her" Wooyoung finally said. And Yibo just looked at him confused, but Wooyoung's expression clearly said Yibo's secret crush on you, wasn't a secret at all to him.

"Are you crazy?!" Yibo said,

"So you want someone else to take her away? When you clearly like each other?!" Wooyoung said

"But her career? Media?! Com-" Yibo was rambling at this point

"Hyung we don't have a dating ban. And the rest can slowly be managed" Wooyoung said "I saw how you get upset whenever she's near Eunwoo hyung. But trust me, it's only on his side, Y/n had eyes for you even before she met you, but now, all the way more"

Yibo went silent, he did like you. After a long time he found someone who genuinely made him laugh and he found himself getting drawn to you like a moth to light. He felt this attraction since the very first day the two of you spoke. He needs to try, what if Wooyoung is right? He can't let you go.

He was in the middle of his thoughts, when he heard cheers and your voice thanking everyone. Followed by Wooyoung cat calling and the two of you bickering, which brought a smile to his face.

"Y/n, we need to talk after shoot" he said

You were shocked but nodded.

However, he had to rush to someplace after the shoot and he couldn't tell you. So you two decided to meet in the studio the following free day you had (yes he made his manager change and shift schedules accordingly).

This time you found Yibo waiting for you in your dance studio as soon as you entered he played the song you both practiced last day and he took position. So you did the same without a word and when he pulled you close by the end he said "I like you".

"What" you went into shock.

"I really do, I think I might have even fallen for you in these past months. Watching you near Eunwoo kills me. I love talking to you and knowing your point of view and opinion and stuff. I love how passionate you are and I would love to stand by you as you move forward" he said. You felt tears in the corner of your eyes and you acted on impulse and pulled Yibo by his neck and placed your lips on his. He immediately held your hips tighter and pulled you closer. You parted, in the need of air, as Yibo connected your foreheads and said. "I take that as a yes"

As he pulls you in for more, this time in a deeper kiss as he pull you closer holding you tight against his body. You're his.

"What did you mean by bringing up Eunwoo oppa? You were jealous?" You asked playfully.

"Wouldn't you be?" He asked.

"Oh I was. When you were kissing Solbin, my expressions were real" you said pouting.

"Aww" he cooed kissing your cheek. Gosh, he loved doing that.

Things were easy from then on, but you had each other, your members and Ateez cheered so loud when you told them. It was your plan to gather them saying you wanted to show them something. Yibo and you, performed your routine and ended it with a kiss and Never has anyone heard Wooyoung cheer louder.

The company didn't have a problem if things weren't public. When the drama aired you had fun promoting it with your boyfriend, with solbo, YiY/n, EunY/n even Y/nbin (you and Solbin lol) trending. But it was fun and you both knew that this was the end game.

It has been a month since Seokjin has met you and got absolutely smitten by you. For the first couple of days, he has tried to find out why the hell he got to feel whatever he was feeling within just 2 minutes of conversation. He couldn't fathom down the reasons. He even googled up on the possibility of having a love at first sight, but the search engine only said men take only 40 seconds to fall in love. Okay, so he was one of those dumb men now. He then slowly started to give up finding out how you managed to make him feel like that. He rather focused on the factors that might have drawn him to you. You were pretty, the most beautiful woman he has ever seen and just the thought brought a smile to his face. However, he was never the man to fall for pretty faces only. He is a man that goes for charismatic women like Jiya. So, if it's not your face? Then is it the way you smiled at him? Or is it the way you need absolutely no makeup to make his eyes pop out of their sockets? Or the way you managed to have a very casual yet to the point conversation upon your first meet? Again, there is no answer. So, he quits thinking of it anyway.

The next couple of days, he tries to push away your thoughts and focus only on Jiya but you somehow managed to get into his head without any invitation, that's a bad thing. But the worse thing is that he only smiled when you played on his mind. He tried not to think of the way you waved him a little goodbye with your cute sweater paws when he left the next morning but nothing happened. It's only you and you that plays in his mind whenever he is not too occupied with his work and Jiya.

After initiating failed attempts of putting a stop to whatever he was feeling for you, he decided to give it a go. He decided to figure it out by getting close to you. Maybe he doesn't have an answer for all the questions that go around in his mind regarding you but it is evident that you managed to make him feel something very different, only if he denies his love at first sight. So, it's only justified if he gives you a chance. Gives himself a chance and finds out what is it he feels for his girlfriend's roommate.

For the rest of the month he showed up at your shared apartment more and more. Every Friday or Saturday he is there. For this one month it has been a ritual of having dinner with you and Jiya and he feels way too good about it all. You three usually eat, laugh, gossip and then Jiya pulls him to her room where they get deeds done. And the next morning you make coffee for everyone before he leaves for his home.

And in this one month of knowing you better has done nothing to push his butterflies away from him, if anything it only intensified, and the butterflies only increased. And the fact that you are single, does not help him at all. The more he observes you, the more he sinks into this unknown feeling for you. He absolutely goes berserk over the way you trace your lower lip with your index finger when you try to remember something or the way your hair curls on the edges after you release your bun or the way you sit with your legs crossed even when you are sitting on the couch or the way you pout without even knowing or the way you scrunch your nose when Jiya gets all "cheesy" with him. He loves everything and everything about you. And he learnt a lot too. He learnt that you are an ambivert, a decent drinker, quite chatty if the company is comfortable, and you are so fucking intelligent. God! You are just irresistible, and you really rile him up at times but it's peculiar how Seokjin doesn't feel any urgency about getting into your pants just like he is used to feel for other women. You definitely are different. You make him impatient and teach him how to be patient at the same time. At the end of the month, he concludes that, he likes you. And it's the first time he is liking someone not just because of her great body or the possibility of a good fuck. He likes you genuinely, like a man likes a woman and wants to share a romantic relationship with them. The thought scares Seokjin, since he never really thought of loving someone enough to pursue a serious relationship but you are different. And you are everything he can think of.

It's another of the Fridays and this time Jiya wants to spend it with Jin, only Jin. Since she is technically his girlfriend, he can't say no to her. But he is very annoyed and a bit sad that he will not get to see you this week.

The beat of music almost hammers Jin's head. For the first time in a while he is not enjoying clubbing rather he is wondering what are you upto now. Since it's almost 10 pm, you must have come back from work, maybe you are resting on the couch with a bowl of your favourite cheese garlic chips or maybe you are already exhausted and sleeping in your room, tugged in your lilac fluffy blanket. Jin's thoughts stop processing as Jiya tugs on his arm,

"Baby, let's get dancing." She whines. Jin resists a bit but then gives up. Jiya is a party animal and Jin knows refusing her will only lead to unnecessary tantrums, since the girl is quite childish and not as mature as you.

By the end of the night, she is knocked out. Jin finds himself struggling to handle Jiya. She is drunk as hell and doesn't wanna leave the bar. She keep on asking the bartender to give her more shots, which Jin refuses and she yells. The girl almost ends up making a scene.

Jin pinches the bridge of his nose and then an idea pops up in his head, you. He takes out Jiya's phone from her purse and unlocks it with her thumb impression. Then he looks for your number, yes, he couldn't ask for your number in this one month. It just felt awkward to him, for the very first time.

You recieve after the second ring, "You should be grinding on your boyfriend now, why are you calling me?" You say with a playful voice without any hey or hello.

Jin chuckles at your teasing and says, "Hey Y/N. It's me, Jin." You go silent and Jin can imagine you widening your eyes in shock.

"O-oh hey Jin. Ah… I'm sorry. What's up? Wait… where's Jiya? Don't tell me she's passed out again!" You say within a single breath.

"That's exactly what we are upto." Jin sighs glancing at his drunk girlfriend asking the bartender for another shot yet again, "I am sorry, I know you're probably resting now but could you come and help me with her? I don't really know how to…" he pauses again, "I have never been in such a situation before."

"It's alright Jin. I am still out anyway since we just had a team dinner. Tell me where you are, I'll take a cab right away." You assure him.

"Oh okay. We are at the Blue Moon bar. 5 minutes from Gangnam subway station." He replies.

"Oh wait! I think I am just two buildings away from you. Oh yes! I can see the building already." You say in a haste and before Jin can say anything you cut the call.

Two minutes feel like forever when you finally stepped into the bar. If Jin was smitten by you before then he is probably drooling now. Black dress pants, black blouse and black loafers adorn your firm and beautiful form. Hair put into a loose bun and lips painted with rosy red. You didn't even bother wearing your blazer anymore, rather you just ran to the bar to rescue your roommate. He can't really focus on anything else rather than how you run to him and place a hand on his shoulder and look at him with those beautiful dark eyes, which make him drown into the unknown. Fuck! You even smell so nice. Jin swears even women wearing tight skimpy dresses couldn't look as sexy as you look into his eyes right now. And once again, he finds himself getting lost by your presence.

"I am sorry Jin, you had to face all these. Let's take her to the car." You say finally removing your hand from his shoulder and it makes him somehow sad.

"It's alright, Y/N. Let's go." That's all he manages to say.

You somehow convince Jiya to leave the bar with promises of more booze from your special collection at home and get her into the car. Once you throw her into the backseat, she is passed out. You take the passenger seat as Jin finally drives towards your shared apartment.

Jin wants to keep his eyes only on the road but he keeps getting distracted by you. The way the headlights of the passing cars illuminate your features, takes his breath away. He knows he shouldn't glance at you every now and then but he can't help it. He only prays that you don't notice it.

It is another round of struggle to get Jiya into the bed but you two accomplish it successfully.

"Coffee?" You ask Jin, to which he nods immediately. He would trade anything in the world for a bit of time with you.

"Can I ask you something?" Jin starts, sipping his coffee after contemplating whether to ask you or not.

"Yes, sure." You reply without sparing him a glance.

"Why are you still single? I mean, don't get me wrong, I am just curious since you are so pretty and you can get any guy you want." He reasons but in reality he is just way too curious to know if he has a chance or not.

You chuckle, "exactly that. I am single because I don't want any guy at this moment. My fiance broke up with me last year and since then I haven't mustered up the courage to get into a relationship again. And since I am not really the type to get into casual dating or hooking up, I am single. It takes me to fall in love and realize the other person is in love with me too to start a relationship." You pause. And then start again, "You know why my fiance broke up with me?" You pause again and look at Jin dead into his eyes, "because he fell out of love with me." You gave him a sad smile and that makes Seokjin's heart twist in something so complicated. "That is why I have decided I will only fall for a guy who will be totally, crazily, and unapologetically in love with me." The last sentence makes Jin suck in a deep breath. You both don't look away from each other, rather let the night settle into each other's dark eyes.

That's the night Jin decides he will be falling hard for you and make you fall hard for him.

Yeonjun

He is an impatient guy, specially when it comes to you, but he's not stupid. He knows well enough that you could handle any situation well on your own. But did it irritate him to the bone to find that the guy that's been trying to flirt with you all night, even after you telling him she was taken tried to make moves. And that was it, he'd rush to your side hitting a punch square at the guy's jaw. With an apologetic last look he'd hold your hand and walk away.

Soobin

Soobin is generally a calm guy, he is. He is also a very thoughtful and considerate guy but that all flew out of the window the moment he saw a guy flirting with you. The sign of disgust on your face was evident and he felt proud of himself. But, he would get really pissed at the persistency of the guy so bring the competitive guy he is, he'll take is best resort. He will rush to you and hug you from behind while landing a kiss on your cheek. That was enough to show that you're his.

Beomgyu

This guy is completely spontaneous. He won't leave your side for much long. So he'd be really pissed to find that the moment he left you were cornered by a hyena. Of course you were pretty but everyone knew you were with him, then hiw the hell can anybody dare to hit on you. He would be seething on fire especially to see how you were disregarding the guy's advances, but he kept on pestering you. He'd rush to your side and punch the guy directly with a "Take that you hyena. This is what you deserve when you hit on somebody's girl"

Taehyun

Now Taehyun has a lot of patience, he does, but lord forbid if he finds someone flirting with you. He would be quick to drop whatever he was doing previously. He knows you didn't give a fuck about anyone else and you love him but it still infuriated him. He would be mad pissed to a level where he'd physically walk close to you and give the person a look which warned them to back the fuck off.

Heuning-Kai

He is a calm mf, he really is. He would notice from afar if someone is eyeing you, but he wont do anything. If someone were to come up to you to flirt though he'd surely give them a stare. He would calmly corner the person alone and tell them that you were his and he doesn't like the person lurking around you. He would sure talk to you first to make sure if he read the signs right though. But he would be feeling a little self conscious after that, so you would have to give him kisses and assure him that you only have eyes for him.

in a school filled with the affluent, it would only make sense for birds of a feather to flock. but what if your new status doesn't immediately buy you a way into said flock? what if instead, it bought you sure rejection? to the rich and powerful, having different masks is a must. despite some people knowing your true self and your secrets

As the car Soobin drove halted to a stop in front of the hotel entrance, you immediately felt nervous. Seeing this, Soobin reached to take your hand in this, capturing your attention. "Hey, you okay?" He asked, worriedly looking at you. "Would you rather Kai or Yeonjun hyung be here?" he asked with a pout on his face which made you roll your eyes and gently poke the spot between his eyebrows where it was creased, "No, Soobin, I asked you to be here with me so I'm very much glad that you are."

Your reassurance made Soobin smile and nod, "Okay, I understand. Let's get this show on the road," he said before exiting his side of the car. You took a moment to take a deep breath, reminding yourself that if you could slam the shit out of Choi San, you can definitely rock this evening.

Soobin jogged to your side after tossing the valet his car keys and opened your door. You carefully stepped out, not wanting to step on the blush pink Versace dress Yeonjun put you in. If you think you were a vision, Soobin in his Studded Barocco Silhouette Versace suit is a Baroque painting that came to life. You would never think that Soobin, who went to class in his bedhead, would be able to style himself like so. And you could lie to yourself, being in Soobin's arms made you feel confident. Who else could get such a catch like him?

It was obvious that you were not used to being confident, not used to being comfortable in what people would say your "playground". Among the rich business people, you, who thought of yourself as cubic zirconia, finally realized that you were just a diamond that became cloudy and dirty because of all the trash you surround yourself with. Aka, the A to Z bullshitters.

You had so much fun socializing with people in different business sectors, you got so much insight into the business models, corporate system and hierarchy, and even received offers should you ever be interested in doing an internship. And to your surprise, Soobin was... not Soobin. The man who made fart noises with Beomgyu whenever Taehyun explained why he can't choose between French and Italian opera was not there. This is PROFESSIONAL Soobin. He's charming, he smiles a lot, and he can use specific business jargon well. Heck, he even introduced you to the CFO of a Medical Logistics company that his mom's research lab partners with.

Whilst you were socializing, you managed to take a peek at your parents and you saw how they were keeping an eye on you whilst socializing with other people themselves. But from the look on your dad's face, they seemed very pleased with your ability to fit in. Unlike your brother who seemed to only be there for the booze. Whilst you were mingling, he only stood by the bar at the back of the room not talking to anyone except for his friend whom he managed to bring to the event. You recognized him as Boo Seungkwan, a student at Prestige Academy. You're not quite sure which class he's in, but you know that he's a big gossip. He somehow knows anyone and anything going on. When you bumped into him as you were getting yourself some water, he even recognized you and asked if Taehyun had warmed himself with you. It kind of freaked you out a bit, but you couldn't exactly be surprised.

It didn't occur to you that you were going too fast too quick. Soobin grabbed your shoulders just as you swayed on your feet slightly when you took a step away from the people you were just talking to. "Whoah, you okay?" he asked, carefully stabilizing you as he leaned down to look at you worriedly. You shook your head in an attempt to shake the wooziness away, "Oh, I- I'm fine, I just..." you chuckled to yourself, "Dizzy, I guess?" Soobin shook his head and gently guided you towards the ballroom door, "Yeah, we're gonna get you some space and air, okay?" "But-" "No buts, you need to get a breather," he scolded as if you were a child. You rolled your eyes and muttered, "You have no butt." Soobin couldn't help but chuckle at your retort and nudged you gently with his shoulder, "We should stop letting you hang out with Beomgyu, you've been learning bad comebacks from him," and you raised an eyebrow at him, "I learnt that from Yeonjun."

Once outside, you felt the cold air on your skin and you took a deep breath. "I'll be right back, okay? I'm gonna get you some water," Soobin said before walking back inside the building.

"Seems like you finally found your confidence,"

You snapped your head and your body immediately tensed when you saw the figure taking steps closer to you which made you take a step back.

Wooyoung raised an eyebrow at you, "Are you seriously scared of me?" he scoffed. You couldn't help but furrow your eyebrows at him, "Can you blame me? Last time we had direct interaction you humiliated me in front of everyone at school," you pointed out. Wooyoung laughed and you noticed he was laughing at you sarcastically. The sound of his voice triggered your fight or flight response but your brain was unable to make a decision on whether you wanted to fight or take flight. Normally you'd immediately take flight, confrontations scare you, but your recent behaviour suggests that you should have been fighting your whole life.

"Did you forget that you threw whipped cream on my face?" "Whipped AND shaving cream, actually. Didn't have enough whipped cream because Mingyu made a lot of buttery nipples the day before," you corrected and Wooyoung just nodded. "And you seem more brazen too it seems. Those boys did a number on you," Wooyoung stated.

Hearing him talk about your new friends as if they were bad influences on you made your eye twitch. "What do you mean 'did a number'? They brought my confidence out," you defended. "Confidence?" Wooyoung scoffed, "Crashing your parents' event, attacking your friends in public, and then botching their grades intentionally, you really think those are confidence?" You couldn't answer him. Because he made a point. Was it really confidence or were you just acting recklessly?

With another step, Wooyoung now stood close to you. He let out a slow sigh as his hand reached forward to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, "Believe it or not, I'm worried about you. I know you best because I have known you the longest and I can say for sure that this... Side of you... It's not you at all. It's what you think you should act based on who you befriend." You hated how his touch still affect you. Even after what happened to you two, due to the years of befriending him, he still feels like your confidant, your comfort. His hand began to softly caress your hair, "I just... I don't want you to change. I don't want the (y/n) that I knew, that I grew up with, to disappear," he confessed. At that moment, Woyooung was being genuine. The things he told you, it was true. He had never thought that whatever it is between you two would have happened. He never expected to lose you.

After the cake thing, he expected that there would be some strain, maybe awkwardness for a week or two. The text he sent you when you skipped school was a bad call on his part. The peer pressure, the way people were gossiping, it got into his head. Not that he was trying to excuse his behaviour, be he was just scared that his reputation would get a hit and his dad would find out. He didn't want to be so affected by his family or his dad, especially by the burden of being a member of his family. The one person whom he could talk to about his true feelings distanced herself from him and while he understood and couldn't blame you, it definitely sucked. Plus, seeing you around and changed by the people who betrayed him was not something he had hoped for.

Just as Wooyoung thought he was getting to you, your hand shot up and grab his. The grip was stronger than he imagined and it was evident that he was surprised based on the way he was staring at you with wide eyes. "No, you just hate that I'm not submitting myself to you anymore," you said. Wooyoung tried to pull his hand away from you but your grip was dead tight. "You simply didn't want to lose something that you thought you had," you let go of his struggling hand but you didn't let your gaze off of him. "You know, I always wondered why you never introduced me to your friends before I transferred here and... At first, I thought you were embarrassed of me, but I think it's because you didn't want to share me with anyone else unless it's necessary." While it was true that you were curious about why Wooyoung was so adamant about not letting his friends know you before, you were simply spitballing. But the look on Wooyoung's face let you know that you hit a nerve.

You don't know what came over you, but you took a menacing step forward, causing Wooyoung to take a step back. "You're... Possessive, territorial. But you're scared. You might be loud and extroverted, but your dad haunts you worse than how demons would." Wooyoung furrowed his eyebrows at you, "You'd know all about a demonic haunting, wouldn't you?" he spat. You chuckled and smirked at him, "So would you, don't you think? You've watched enough movies with me to know things and considering you let your dad's reputation hang over your head should've made you realize how bad it could get." You waited for Wooyoung to say something, anything, but you know that your words are sinking into his head. Finally knowing why Wooyoung is... Wooyoung, it made you pity him slightly. Only slightly because you're still pissed that he'd use you and now that it's out there, tried to gatekeep you from people. That's why he made you so submissive. That's why he diminished you down to being an assignment mule so you won't know the things that you're actually capable of. The oppression from your environment might be worse than you thought if you let yourself not even recognize your own abilities. And you're pissed at yourself for it.

"Is everything alright here?"

Both you and Wooyoung turned to the source of the voice to see Soobin standing with a glass of water in his hand. One of his eyebrows was raised and his stature tall(er), as if to assert dominance and send a message to Wooyoung that he's one wrong move from him away to pouncing on him like an animal.

You smiled at him and shook your head, "No, everything's fine, Thoob," Wooyoung's fists balled tightly when he heard your sweet voice calling Soobin by his nickname. "We should get back inside. Mr and Mrs Oh are looking for you," Soobin smiled at you. You nodded and turned to look at Wooyoung one last time, "Detach yourself from whatever's pushing you down, Woo. I did and I'm the best version of myself right now and I like the way I turned out I can be because I'm with the right people," you said before walking away.

Soobin offered you his arm and you took it gratefully. "What was that all about?" he asked as he handed you the glass of water. You took a sip before shaking your head and glancing at Wooyoung who was staring at your retreating figure, "Me doing something I should have done a long time ago."
